Trying to work out if it's worth paying extra for a trip from PC to SD or whether I should suffer the pain of a long layover and 2 flights to SD. I'm thinking the former.

I would say it is worth it to get to see an extra city on the same trip. There are great beaches in the Punta Cana area. You could also think to rent a car. It is an easy drive from Punta Cana to Boca Chica to the airport in Santo Domingo where you can turn it in before heading to Santo Domingo.

Still RTFF'ing but from what I can gather so far, SD with a side option of Boca Chica would appear to cater to what I'm looking for at the moment. After 2+ years of covid, some companionship with the occasional GBP trip would suit me just fine.

This is a excellent plan for a first time visitor. You have options and back up!

You may want to curtail your expectations. The only thing DR has similar with SEA is maybe the weather and the mentality of the people (PI in particular). If you are going as a first timer, then Sosua is definitely your best bet.

As usual, I am going to offer an alternative view that Sosua is not your best bet. But I will agree that if you arrive with an open mind, low expectations and enjoy the Dominican Republic for what it has to offer (especially if mongering is not the only thing on your mind) then there is going to be nothing but upside. Remember many people writing up in here are long term visitors that have formed their opinions over years and they are just not going to change them.

Things have changed dramatically since I first traveled to Santo Domingo over 10 year ago and fucked two to three chicas a day without knowing a bit of Spanish. It is a lot easier now. With online dating apps and google translate, even without a command of Spanish you can have the Big Booty Delivery service in full effect using just your finger on the touch screen. With inDriver and Uber to transport you can simply have your pussy delivered to you hotel room or you can find a place near you hotel for the screening interviews before you take them to your hotel room.

So take all the advice offered and make your own decisions. In the end it is all about your personal preferences, what you enjoy and how you like to arrange you affairs.

Punta Cana is a lot further from SD than Boca Chica. That explains the the difference in the taxi quotes you are getting. If you need to stay with private transportation there is also inDriver and Uber. But on the public transportation angle there is:

Full disclosure. I have never taken the bus on an intercity trip within the Dominican Republic. But I have seen their busses in route to Punta Cana and returning from the comfort of the Gran Jefe Mobile.

Just google bus service Punta Cana to Santo Domingo and you will find all the options.

Boca Chica and Sosua are still functioning just fine without the mongers that have turned their back on them. My Tender is full of matches here in Santo Domingo / Santo Domingo este. I do not have enough time to service all the chicas that are interested in seeing me. LOL!

But what do I know? I just live here!

You have to take the bus. Use APTRA or Bavaro Express on that route (PC SD). I do not know where you are getting your quotes from, but definitely a lot more than $40 if one was to take a taxi from SD to Sosua. Hell the taxis want that much for the 20 minutes from the airport to SD. The 2 bus companies for the SD Sosua route are Metro and Caribe Tours.

Ok, I have 1 question!

Flights are super cheap, and direct, from my US starting destination so there is significant benefit in flying there on the outbound flight. But I'm getting taxi quotes of over $100 USD. I have been in the Dominican Republic last month, and my top rankings are:

1. Boca Chica, a nice small town with a nice beach and friendly hookers (many Haitians) every night on the Ave Duarte, 3000 DOP is the standard price.

2. Sosua, for me too many tourists and people around. Higher prices for everything (food, hotels, hookers). The hookers mostly prefer short time.

3. Santo Domingo. Big, but dirty city. I did not like it. Went to both strip clubs (Oasis, Foxys), but steep prices for beer, ladydrinks and sex ($100). GBP girl house was ok, shagged a young slim Dominican girl for 2500.

At Rebel Monger and at Mr Enternational: Could you summarize briefly why Medellin is so much better. Is it the lower costs for sex, the many options you have in Paysex, or are the women more beautiful or more friendly? The comparison with DR is not completely valid, as DR has many beaches and a Caribbean feeling, while Medellin is a big city. I noticed the Dominican women are very flirty and some enjoy sex. If my Spanish would be better, I could date more woman. I am planning to include Colombia in my next trip when they have abandoned all covid restrictions.

I won't disagree with you. Firstly, because I haven't been to either destination, and secondly because much of the reports and discussions appears to point to Medellin being the prime mongering destination at the moment. However, as I explained, it isn't the right fit for me at the moment. I didn't want to start a DR vs Medellin debate!

I was twice in Medellin and even when I really like DR (I've been there somewhere between 25 and 50 times), I'd say that Colombia is a lot better.

Hi all.

Just want to say Hi. People on other forums (Medellin, Havana) may recognize me. I have a trip booked to Medellin in May. For various reasons, which I will not bore you with, I'm just not feeling Medellin right now. I normally visit SEA, and I'm just not getting the same sense of anticipation. I've been to Cuba before (Havana, Santiago) but not in a mongering capacity. I love the music and the culture, but the cost of flights and the additional potential hassle (COVID test, Visa, meeting licence requirements) means Havana is a no-go for now. I live in Canada, but will be flying from TX, so better to wait until I fly from home to avoid some of the extra hassle of flying from the US.

DR was my third option. I can change my flights with United at no cost but the flights are not as good. Coming from TX means I have to get to EWR first, rather than going IAH-PTY-MDE. But small price to pay. Santo Domingo appears to be the only reasonable destination on DR with United, from a cost / flight perspective. But having started reading the thread, I'm getting that SEA excited vibe. I'm not looking for non-stop rotation of chicas and don't mind not having point and click P4 P, but P4 P is my main reason for visiting. With a COVID drought (other than a quick few days in Tijuana last year), just a few chicas will do during my 6-day trip, so I hope to utilize Tinder and Cupid to line up some options before hand, and keep the casas etc in my back pocket for emergencies.

I had thought about the bus trip to Sosua, but the flight times and extra hassle don't appear to make sense for such a short trip, even though I'm likely to have far more P4 P options when I am there. Correct me if I am wrong on the hassle / timing point!

I'm not going to ask questions yet. I'm currently on page 30 of the thread, having started at page 51, so I'm gathering intel. I'm sure I'll have some questions if I get to page 1 and haven't covered various subjects. For now, I'm just saying Hi, and wanted to say thanks to everyone constantly giving their experiences and advice. It makes research a whole lot easier with good starting points.

Please don't try to change my mind on Medellin. I know it's an awesome place, and I will get there one day, but the timing just isn't right for my particular circumstances. Spent 5 hours on looking around already today and my mind is made up on DR for this short trip at least!

Also, I'm visiting mid-May, so if anyone is around at that time, would be great to meet up for a few beers.

I just arrived today at Hotel Palacio. I thought about doing an AIRBNB but always decided against it. Your report is making the case for it. Having a condo versus an hotel could have various perks. Next time I come I think I will be doing the AIRBNB route. Not sure when that will be as I will be doing the Philippines next now that it is open. . . Between Dominican Cupid, Tinder, and Chickricas it shouldn't be too hard. I have to try the clubs out, haven't thought about it but think I will try it.

I did the condo apt on the booking site when I felt ready to do a private condo apt with a fridge & kitchen. I stayed at hotel placio, casa conde, raizor, jaguar, mystik, crowne, cabanas for short time gals, and a bunch of other places on calle el conde, or near jbq airport, Even took my laundry to wash wash a few blocks nearby plació. Overtime Privacy became more important as lots of chicas showed up at my hotel.

One morning I took an uber to tour the condo apts from the booking site just to see how they looked. Price was same as hotel night. I was sold on stuff I wanted like a coffee maker, great wifi, tested out during the tour, strong AC, washer dryer in the place to have clean fresh towels anytime without bothering hotel cleaning staff. A location within walking distance to supermercado, dinner drinks, Uber eats delivery. During the tour, the gal gave me a wink and pointed out a separate front bathroom for the guests.

God damn genius. Never realized, No need for chicas to use my bathroom or go in my private bedroom. Had a separate bedroom with a door lock to keep my stuff squared away.

Place was quiet tower building when I wanted to sleep. No rooftop bar with party music all night. Once I had three chicas in the condo wasn't easy to keep an eye on all them all so kicked two out to go wait in the lobby. Then rotate them one at a time over the next few hours. To quote Oldkool The possibilities of city opens up with your own place and uber.
