It is a trip there for sure, but it looks like a reasonable day journey if there is someone waiting at the end of the road. I feel the same was about San Francisco de Marcoris.

I feel the lack of courtesy is primarily due to lack of driving education and enforcement. After all, it is the third world. Even in Europe you would find often times, cars chasing you out of the fast lane, by coming at a breakneck speed well over the speed limit and with lights flashing.
BTW, speaking of "linguist" are you referring to your consummate skill on using tongue on women? Jajaja!

So I was driving up to Constanza the other day and was stopped at a traffic light on the main highway up by Los Alcarrizos. I was first at the light in the left lane. There was 1 car behind me. An ambulance pulled up behind that car with the siren and lights on. I proceeded to pull up and ease over to the lane to my right. Every time I tried to ease over, the mf in that lane would pull up to block me from coming over, therefore not making way for the ambulance. These folks around here are so uncourteous and think of nobody but themselves.
Damn if Constanza does not have the most beautiful women that I have seen in DR. If it was not for going through all those damn mountains then I would go there more often. This is the non-pro that I was with.
P. S. I am a linguist and know it is discourteous, but these mfs around here are worse than that, which makes them uncourteous.

Posts: 15925I arrived at the airport in Santo Domingo yesterday. Before going down the last few steps to immigration, there was a line backed up. I figured it was for the random temperature check that they have been doing. A guy in uniform came down the line asking if people had vaccination certificates. People in front of me waved papers at him while saying yes. When he got to me I said no.
Mf. What was I thinking? I am not new around here. He told me to get out of that line and go to the line that was across from that for covid testing. There were like 4 people in line in front of me. Not that it was taking a long time, but the people in the temperature line were going to have the immigration line backed up by the time I finished this BS.
I thought on my feet, unlike when he first asked me. When a group of people came by, I just stepped to the right and blended in with them, walking to immigration. Fuck all that other BS. This is DR. So make sure you have some kind of paper to flash when you get asked.

Nothing much to add to the collective knowledge on this trip, other than along the Malecon the street hustlers are out in full force. I'm taking this as a sign that things are coming back.
Middle of the night arrival and late night departure, so most of my time was spent (alone) in bed. But, I decided to take a walk along the Malecon to maybe grab a quick meal and see how the city is as I haven't been in town for a couple of months.
Hit the Jaragua Casino and the smaller one next door. Afternoon scene was dead. Turned around to head east to Villar Hermanos and somehow pulled every damn street hustler out here. I know that I look and dress like a rube, so I expect a bit of that. But, today it was full force. Between that and the shitty air quality along the water. Wind shifts, went home empty handed to an empty hand. I'm doing a few more random days like this next month, was hoping for a better afternoon scene. I'm still looking for a good massage place near the Crowne Plaza / Renaissance in anyone has any recs.

I've always found that older women (late 20's-early 30's) are more passionate, appreciative, and sexually experienced (duh!) And unlike 18-year olds they do care about meeting my expectations.
I don't have a thing for MILFs, but I'll pick an older, good looking woman over a young stunner in a heart bit. Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way.

So I've helped her with a couple small businesses in PP, a nail salon, and a fast food deal, which her chica friends operate for her. This buys her groceries and pays her rent. She's a hard worker, knows a lot of people, so my total investment has been no more than a couple of nights with a high end hooker from Classico. One time deals, sink or swim, no more from me, and it seems to be working out fine. And she has a school age daughter, so it keeps her busy and out of my hair, for 4 days a week.
This is practical stuff with a return, not the usual student fees that many ask for and nothing seems to happen.
Now she's seen an empty restaurant in PP and says it can be had for $300 for the first month's rent.
We'll see?
Last month she was in a Santo Domingo hospital for 3 days. I said do you need money?, She said 2,000 pesos would be a help for her prescriptions, and bus fare back to PP. My kind of girl. LOL.
There's an old Jimmy Soul song I mentioned CoolieHigh when he was in town, "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife!
She's pretty enough for me.

I concur with everything you describe. Sex and the girls are the easy part of the Dominican Republic but learning and experiencing the culture and people is more important to me. To have a girl who values the time with you is rare nowadays but it's there.
Here is my shopping list: preferably older 28-40 years old. Not on their phones unless it's the kids calling (no more than 2 kids). No selfie's every five minutes. No high top tennis shoes. Knows her way around the kitchen and super market. A good mother with clean and respectful kids. Not argumentative. Mostly trustworthy and have morals with a good heart. From my experience it takes about 6 month to a year to fully find out who she is and get her on your program. She has made mistakes and now has realized to appreciate a good thing. It's nothing like bringing a mature woman back to life after she has given up.
If you like the young 18-24 year old girls that's cool but realize she is in the prime of her life, in demand, and you won't usually become a priority. Hourly sex for pay is cool and I occasionally indulge but you have to use a condom and deal with the problems of a stranger in your environment.
I'm not talking wife or full time girlfriend. I believe you just need a respectful understanding. An understanding where you both know and respect each other's roles.

Others, like I used to be, are more interested in variety, racking up numbers, in as little time as possible. You do a lot of negotiating. She's doing the same thing, though. This takes energy and time, and sometimes can lead to frustration with the lack of human interaction in the purely commercial short term transactions ("Leche Papi") You wouldn't want to take them shopping, LOL.
But it's all available here in the DR, if you happen to prefer Latina and Haitiana chicas.

Posts: 623rd Santo Domingo trip in 2021
I've been lazy and have not posted in a while but then again my trips have been very good. I'm with a new chica this trip. Vetted with multiple video chats and she shared her ID with me so I'm sure of her age and identity. Last year I was staying a week splitting the week between two women with a day off in between but this year I've spent the entire week with one woman each trip. This trip is with a new Latina, 29 years old, tall, pretty and a lot of fun. She said if I can help her with some expenses at the end of the trip, she would be happy. I'm in day 5 and enjoying a cigar and drink on the terrace while she is taking an online class. She speaks decent English but wants to become fluent so today I paid for her online English classes for 3 months 9700 DOP and I have the receipt. I speak some Spanish, enough to get around but am not fluent. It's nice to have a decent conversation between orgasms. My last two Latinas were appreciative of nice meals, nice hotel and fun mixed in between. I stay away from the Latina's with GPS, "golden pussy syndrome", that want to go shopping just to spend money. The range of women here amaze me. Some want it all upfront and some just want a break and enjoy a vacation. But every Latina I've spend time with in the RD absolutely loves sex. I guess that is why I keep coming back.
I know I'm not like most men here that like a lot of variety during their visits but I'm probably older than most and enjoy the peace, relaxation and time to recharge my batteries. I work long hours in the states the other 3 weeks of the month and have stopped seeing locals, most of the time hahaha.
Anyway, I enjoy the forum and the many ways we enjoy our women. I do love Latinas but don't think I could ever live with one all of the time, they are hot and sexy but a little bit crazy in the long run.
I will finish my cigar and scotch then head back to the room.
Strawhat.

Thank you GrownMan, Mr. Enternational, CoolieHigh, BigBrr, Sam14, SavePros, Crusader560, and Tempoecorto, for your encouragement, compliments, advice and criticism. I take all that you say in the right spirit. I like the brotherhood and comradery of this site and have learned a lot from your posts.
My experiences, however imperfect, is part of my journey. I share here what I felt, what I went through, in the hope that it is one more data-point in someone's understanding of how things are. If people shared only "perfect stories", how things "must be" or "should be", it would become predictable and inane. People often learn more from mistakes, even other's mistakes. And I learn from reflection, your comments and advice. So thank you!
In the end, did I have fun? Yes! And that is what matters. 😊.
