Received several PM's about domestic flights in the DR
Most days, you can fly anywhere in the DR for about 80-100usd, there are several small airlines that fly twin engine prop planes. Flight times are 30 minutes to one hour. Baggage is a little restricted. If you are traveling alone, this makes more sense than taking a 5 hour, $120 cab by yourself from one end of the island to the other, e.g. from Sto Domingo to Puerto Plata or Sosua, but of course the bus is much cheaper. Depends on how you value your time and comfort. Note that the International airport in Sto Domingo is NOT the same as the domestic airport, about a $20 cab ride from one to the other, but the domestic a/p is actually closer to DT Sto Domingo, about an $8 cab ride from the Malecon area. I just got back from 4 nights/3 days in Santo Domingo. First, let me follow up on the cybercupido.com girl. She was definitely not a pro, nor a "non-pro" (which I define as a weekend hooker, generally a student or a mother with a low paying job), but clearly she had experience meeting guys through the internet. Fortunately, she was extremely pretty with a great body. She came to my hotel, we went out for dinner but she could not come back to my hotel afterwords because she is a student and had a project due the next day. Instead, she came two mornings later and fucked me senseless (two one hour sessions with her, split up by lunch). The bed was soaking wet when we finished- this girl was really into the experience. I offered to buy her some clothing when she got ready to leave, and she ended up taking cash (she suggested 2000 pesos). I think that the cypercupido approach is a great way to find a girl, but you must speak Spanish, and you must realize that sex is not guaranteed- just extremely likely. You may need to plan on two dates. The total bill is still a bit more than a hooker (after dinner, taxis, presents, etc), but the sex can be really great, and the time with the girl can be alot of fun. These are not "GFE"s, but sex with a real girlfriend.

Two other observations I made. The first is that virtually any girl in the DR who has a minumum wage job will go out and have sex with you. As I was only in the DR for a few days, I ended up with two girls too many this trip, both of whom were minimum wage workers. The first was a girl in a bar on the Malecon in San Pedro de Marcoris. A 27 year old woman who looked about 10 years younger with a great body and beautiful hair. All I had to do was mention that I wanted someone to show me around San Pedro de Marcoris and I had her phone number and a request to call her the same night. The second was a ravishing beauty who worked a restaurant on conde and whom I told my taxi driver about. Without asking me, he got her phone number and arranged for me to have dinner and sex with her. Unfortunately, she did not get off from work until the time my plane was scheduled to depart.

I find that these non-pro encounters require two things. The first is a lot of patience. The non pros are typically busy working while you are trying to arrange a rendevous. Plus, Dominicans are never in a hurry to do anything. The second is a little audacity. If you lack the nerve to ask a complete stranger to have dinner and sex with you, a good way to do this is to buy a drink for your cab driver and casually ask him to make the introductions. The drivers are always eager to oblige. This approach is very effective (I have met literally a dozen girls in the DR and Brazil this way).

In any case, I have come to dislike the casas in Santo Domingo. They are fine for a rather expensive pickup with a girl who might be great GFE or a complete fake. There is no way of knowing ahead of time. As you have to pay management up front, you have no recourse if the girl does not live up to her promises. I far preferred to pick up a girl at a casino like Jaragua (where EVERY girl who is not with a man is probably looking for a date). I picked up a great girl there this week- a semi pro who was playing blackjack with her MOTHER. I quietly asked her if she was interested in spending some time with me (at 1 am in the morning, so she knew what I had in mind), and she said 2500 pesos for the night. Mom thought we were going out for coffee (or at least that is what the girl thinks that Mom thought). Thin, about 160 cm with nice curves and a beautiful face. BBBJ and great DFK. Very straight forward to deal with. Anyone who wants the contact info for her should PM me.

I left the island wondering how soon I could get back. The regular girl stuff there is just so easy once you get the knack. UNtil you have things arranged, the casas are good for some release. Just keep your expectations low.

Your report has several excellent pieces of advice for newbies and inexperienced travelers.

First, learning Spanish is key. Second, steer clear of the casas and opt instead to "chat it up" with regular girls and semi-pros. This is essential to avoid being ripped off by mp's and sc's. Third, employ a dependable driver to chofer you around and then "pick his brain" and have him set up meetings for you. This also very helpful.

All good stuff! With the exchange rate hovering around 33rdp to 1 usd, now is not the time to go to SDQ with an unlimited expense account.

Just to let you know, the owner is not flexible with pricing. His quote is 5000 pesos from midnight until 10am. If you speak Spanish, then try and negotiate. Tell the owner that you know a Chinese guy who paid only 3000 pesos two months ago.

The girls are hot and pretty.

One girl I would avoid (I forgot her name) is a dyed blonde girl. She is around 5'5" tall and slim. She speaks okay English. She loves to smoke and drink (a little too much. lol). Avoid her.

In terms of looks, this IS the place!!! I had Patricia who has a 10 face and a 8.5 body. She was so nice and generous. I went at around midnight. There were other hotties but they were with their customers.

Anyone have expereince staying at Hotel El Napolitano. My previous two stays have been at Jaragua, at if you couldn't guest, it was somewhat hard to bring girls to the room. I want no problems this time around.

The Napolitano Hotel is girl-friendly. But you need to pay a fee. I think it is around 300 or 400 pesos. The girls needs to show her I.D. to the front desk and they will make a copy of it.

This hotel is very flexible with bringing in women.

Was in Casa de Modelos last night. Took home a gorgeous 20 yo morena who was lots of fun until we got to the hotel where she was all business and split after less than an hour of non GFE service (although she did look great with her clothese off).

That is the downside to the DR. There is far less "quality control" than the girls from the agencies in Rio. If she had been from Karla's, a phone call would have caused her serious problems. And,since you pay the house up front, you lose all of your leverage. Forcing the girls to stay the minimum 1 1/2 hours is never fun, so I let her go (plus, it was 3 in the morning, and I was tired anyway). She ended up calling me a "bad man" because I only gave her 100 pesos ($3) for taxi (that's all it costs the girls incidentally).

The selection at Casa de Modelos was outstanding, incidentally. I can't figure out how to do the numbers rating consistently, but several of the girls could have jobs modeling clothing.

I go to Brazil frequently, and I also visit the DR a few times a year. Brazil is 11 times the population of the DR (I think I have that right!). Rio is larger than the DR. Sao Paulo is almost 4 times the population.

According to CIA's World Factbook the Dominican Republic has an estimated population of a little less than 9 million, compared to Brazil's estimated 186 million. So it's about 20 times the polutation of the DR.
I have only been to Brazil, but from what I've seen, I am absolutely sure there are great latinas to be found in the DR!
