I would not describe hk as just a room to pick a girl for sex. Because that's what I expected on reading people who wrote this. I think these guys went when it wasn't busy. Lets put it this way. If you go on Fri. Sat night after 9 pm, the set up will feel like old HK in a lot of ways. You don't get the girls dancing much but there's like 10 rooms, waiters, you grab a girl for a drink, and sit, with much more privacy than the normal HK, honestly once your sitting drinking with her its same thibg as the old HK. The concern for guys over 40 is its crowded no visible windows so covid potential.

I couldn't find a place to sit in there for 20 min the two nights I attempted to, and those were a Tuesday and Thursday evening.

A converted hotel room with 4 tables and 25 people in it. Was about as private as sex on a city bus at noon.

HK is closed. Upstairs, where the hotel / rooms are, they opened up an area (I think 7th floor) for people to still mingle and pick out chicas to take arriba.

It was not just a single mistake. This low life guy did a lot of stupid things with his friends.

He refused to share gas, food money and driving the car back when his friend, the designated driver, was wasted. He bought ficha drinks for 6 girls but did not have to courtesy to offer a drink to his friend who took him there. The next day his friend tried to reason with him, he made up excuses after excuses with a bunch of bold-faced lies.

The guy knew no social grace, acted like a stupid trash, he was not a friend. The other guys all got mad at him. It was a group consensus, the guys did not like his company, they did not want to see him again. He can go on his own, party with Sasha and her sharky friends, and get ripped off hehe.

I'm sorry, But to me, a dollar is not junk money. Quarters or not. If Mexico minimum wage is 2 dollars, millions of Americans work for 6 dollars an hour after taxes, and I'm tipping a Madero in hk 2 quarters he gives me the quarters back, and like I said a girl doesn't want 4 quarters, again, maybe these are Mexican cultural norms. But if I tip a American waiter in quarters they don't get pissed. Money is money and its not even easy to get change in to begin with. Again, these bars are full of prima donas, who look at the club as a big ATM machine, spitting out free money for them. So yeah they want that drunk 1st timer who tips 5 bucks a beer, not my quarters. But again that's on them for looking at money differently then people in the states do. By the way the bus driver always thanks me in Tijuana with my 50 cent top as I don't see anyone else tipping him. Anyway I won't have zona stories to share without hk and it's free beers being open as the offerings otherwise are not appealing. I'm still in Tijuana every week but avoiding that place.

If you're at a restaurant and you tipped only in change, lots of servers would also not be very happy. And you refuse to just accept it. You justify your mentality instead of accepting their truth and adjusting your behavior accordingly. It reminds me of two phrases:

1. You can't teach an old dog new tricks.

2. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

Although, I guess in your case, you can keep expecting the same results (getting harassed, assaulted, etc) so it wouldn't technically be insanity.
