This past weekend, I attempted to reserve a suite at Hotel Cascadas for today / tomorrow. I got a reply saying the suite I wanted was taken, but there was a different suite available. I replied saying I would take it. Earlier today, I received a phone call from Hotel Cascadas confirming my reservation and arrival time. At first, I was taken aback as the last thing I expected was to be receiving a phone call from them. But then I remembered during the reservation process, they asked for my number.

During the phone call, I made sure to ask the person if the VIP Card discount could be applied to the room. The person said yes, as long as the VIP card is not expired. Hopefully this phone call means that my suite reservation will indeed be honored (unlike last time). Will report back.

I suggest you put an email address at time of reservation. I always get two email replies back.

1- stating they got my request will get back to me.

2- later, an email confirmation.

I would not feel comfortable till I got an email confirmation. Insist on it.

You've been in the game longer than I have but from my experiences, the ones who do the approaching in HK are usually the older sharks.

I've had good luck with this tactic in tropical though.

Absolutely. That approach requires a lot of gracias pero no. LOL. It can test your patience. But when Miss Right approaches you, I've found a high home run percentage.

As far as Tropical, for some weird reason, I've never played a method consistently. I don't know what it is but that place throws me off my game. But, some of my better sessions have happened there. I do plan on investing at least one night there next visit.

Yeah, I hear you. I love the party, but hate the crowds. (A bit of an oxymoron, right?) But that's why I'm considering the timing of my next trip. Lately, I've been flying in on Wednesday or Thursday and flying out on Sunday. That works best with my work schedule. But I'm either going to try going earlier in the week or go back to an 11 PM arrival time at HK. Eventually, about 1 AM, the crowds thin out.

After unexpectedly spending a night in Tropical, I hit up HK on a Thursday and Friday night a couple weeks ago. I avoided a couple regulars, wanting to find something new. (One of my regulars was very angry. Oh well.).

I was off my game or I've become unbearably unattractive. I spent the majority of those nights drinking alone. I usually play it passive. I subscribe to the theory to choose from girls who approach you and it leads to better experiences. Well, that approach bit me. The few who approached me were not appealing to me. I think a lot of it was the typical Thursday and Friday night volumes. LOTS of customers.

I was due because I was on a great winning streak.

I should of asked him if it was HK rule or they had to in order to stay open. I was in the other bars that night and didn't notice the same rules. Especially in Tropical.

Gotcha. Welp I'm a new in Tijuana so I really don't know shit about the history of the scene down here. I've always preferred to hit up Thailand even though prices are NOT that much friendlier over there.

Hotel honestly kinda expensive considering its not a 4+ star hotel in a 3rd world country hah but w/e. Not like theres much of a choice at this point in time for this hobby outside of NA.

Affordability is subjective though, depending on how loose you are with your money and how frequently you partake in the hobby. Even at modest six figures, I can't afford to do this every month considering I'm too busy getting ass raped by SoCal living expenses in LA.

P.S. Any younger mongers <35 interested in grabbing a drink, I'm now planning on being down 9/8-9/10,2 nights.

I love CA, but the politics suck. I just laugh because people that live here keep voting for it. Play stupid games and win stupid prizes. I have built most of my net worth in CA due to the dumb policies and regulations they put in place. It makes the people that own assets wealthier and the working class poorer, but somehow they keep voting for higher taxes, more regulations, and other stupid laws. I love it and will never move. I also love Thailand and it is cheaper since STR are $30 and LTR are $100, but they are shut down at the moment. For now the chicas are a good holdover. I might try Russia or Ukraine in future as haven't been to that region and only met some in Dubai and Hong Kong (SAR China).

Arrived yesterday evening with friend.

Went to HK yesterday 1st time past 18 months.

Quality seemed so so, only saw 2-3 girls overall 8.

My incident was probably about 6 years ago, it was off La Coahuila street. This is the main street for places like the Hong Kong, Adelitas etc. There is a street behind it it that has more bars like La Carreta. These 2 streets are well lit and very safe. This was my first night as an official mongerer in Tijuana. I had done a recon mission during the day with an American girl a month or two before. The only thing I remember was having a shot of Tequila at Adelitas then walking off the two streets I described. It was not well lit. I cannot give you a location now but it was not far away. A Mexican man larger than me by several inches and many pounds choked be from behind trying to get me to pass out then rob me. They usually work in teams of two. After I pulled him down and faced him he looked very frightened before I hit him. I believe he was a desperate Heroin attic that desperately needed money for a fix. He got nothing but a right cross. I am probably the most peaceful person you can ever meet outside a ring. I am of Italian decent and can have a very bad temper when provoked. I do not recommend handling things the way I did. A Mexican girl approached and asked me if I was alright. I told her that I wanted to know where to find this guy so I could kill him. This was a very stupid thing to say. I then had a beer with her and she stole my phone. I then realized how stupid I was and stayed in my Hotel room for the rest of the weekend.

The zona is full of lowlifes, this includes the women, they are always trying to take advantage of you. Thats why I am always on guard and sober. I had too many bad things happen to me in the past, all of which was my fault for not being smart or at least having more common sense.

Yes you book online (no charging) and then when you get there, they will ask you if you want VIP and then apply the discount when you pay there. Have $30 in cash ready because they're going to need that as a deposit for the refrigerator. The room you can put on a card.

When you check out, provided you don't drink anything from the refrigerator, you will get the $30 back.
