Gotcha. Welp I'm a new in Tijuana so I really don't know shit about the history of the scene down here. I've always preferred to hit up Thailand even though prices are NOT that much friendlier over there.

Hotel honestly kinda expensive considering its not a 4+ star hotel in a 3rd world country hah but w/e. Not like theres much of a choice at this point in time for this hobby outside of NA.

Affordability is subjective though, depending on how loose you are with your money and how frequently you partake in the hobby. Even at modest six figures, I can't afford to do this every month considering I'm too busy getting ass raped by SoCal living expenses in LA.

P.S. Any younger mongers <35 interested in grabbing a drink, I'm now planning on being down 9/8-9/10,2 nights.
Staying at Cascadas, will check out HK mostly & possibly Tropical & Las Chav

The HK group seems to be getting greedy. Both hotels went up $10-$15 a night recently. If you do a VIP card & Monday & Tuesday nights you get a big discount, but not so much any other night.

Chicago Club hotel was $25 a night, but now there website is down. Adeiltas was also cheaper. Non-descripte hotels can go under $20 a night.

Arrived yesterday evening with friend.

After two years, everything seems pretty much the same. Staying at the Rizo till Saturday night.

I'm now noticing the prices at HK are actually $75/$90 now? This is making me want to take a closer look at the Hotel Rizo VIP program .

Bummer. I confirmed the prices went up at websites of both Cascadas and Rizo.

Rizo seems to have gotten the old prices of Cascadas.

I find Cascadas's room price has gone up too much in past three years.

I hope they get a drop in room occupancy that forces that puts an end to their price increases.

The current rates ($65/$80) are actually the same rates I paid the last time I stayed in Tijuana this past May (before applying the VIP discounts of course). Rates went up $5 or $10/ night but another reason for the difference from last year is where the HK VIP discount during the week was reduced from 80% off to 70% off. So for example last year an HK room during the week might've been $60 full price but with 80% off it was only the $12 price you stated. $65 with a 70% discount is going to be nearly $20 (as you also stated). Still a good deal I guess.

Wow they did change the price again today Sept 1st. Honestly I don't even like the bar hotels. Sheets never look clean, no windows, high level security pat downs, being stuck in zona. It's like a hotel on top of your fav strip club in united states. You'd rather sleep 2 blocks away. The whole scene is more expensive than it used to be. I'm sure a lot people quit going if they were low income. I bought a girl a drink last night that was so terrible on every way. I had talked to her for free the past month so figured it was time. The lap dances also seem to go up a dollar each time. If my girlfriend worked in HK I'd tell her to charge 160. Why not? Some guys like to pay more.

A lot of times the deportees are the ones you have to most worry about. These will often be Mexican nationals who speak near perfect / perfect English, sometimes even without an accent. Usually, they were deported for a good reason.

This is common in Nogales but silver lining is some are hot and willing to do things they'd never consider when they were living in the states. Suddenly, a Mexicana who had her pick of guys in the States is offering up her ass for mil pesos.
