If you are for something like the old Help Disco in Rio or the Del Rey (San Jose, CR)/ Cocal (Jaco, CR) or LDV (Cartagena), I can tell you that it does not exist in CDMX. At least, I have never seen or heard about it. I honestly have never seen it. Not saying that it doesn't exist, but I would be surprised. Maybe GDL, but I doubt it.

They are Mexican nationals. They plan one to two months in advance. It is like a well-planned bachelor party for them. MEX-TIJ-MEX flights can cost less $200 when bought a month out. Easy. Then check airbnb. Nice places for less than $75.00 USD. The Rio area works well. Keep in mind that Tijuana is becoming rapidly known as a gastronomic destination and the Rio area is in the middle of it. Easy and economic for taxis.

You can also check out rentals in Playas and Agua Caliente. One thing I learned about these girls is that most are far from home and get quite bored and sick of being stuck in a shitty hotel or a crappy house where they share their room. If you can offer a unique experience such as fine dining, bull fight, or a trip to the Mercado Negro or Puerto Nuevo they will be happy to go with you. Just need to get to know them a little bit. At first, I would recommend to focus on the daytime / afternoon chicas (slightly different breed than the nighttime). For guys like Captain Solo who frequent the Zona Norte that is not an issue. Back in the day (1996 - 2004), I had many "amigas" who were up for some diversion / fun. But it is much easier to have a place outside of the Zona Norte to take them to. For example, when coming back from Puerto Nuevo and stopping off at your place in Playas will guarantee reciprocity on her part. And in the long run it will get much cheaper; especially, as you get to know her friends.

After these posts, I am starting to get an itch to head back to Tijuana for some R&R.

Since Chicago went 24 hour a few weeks ago, HK returned to its 24 hour work shift.

Between 4 to 8 AM there are usually 10 to 12 younger girls partying, mostly young, hard partying animals.

8 to 10 is cleaning time with parts of the club closed, but guys and girls continue to party in the club.

10 to 8 PM there are usually 40 to 60 girls. After 8 PM more girls start coming in, total about 80 to 100 all night until shift end at 2 AM.

I wandered in the club at all hours, have not been stopped.

Over the holidays where the chicas were in short supply, I spent a couple of nights at Cascadas and can confirm that I went into HK at 8-9 am in the middle of the week. It was open and had about 10 girls. The front door to HK was closed. But its alley door was open and one can still enter through the front doors; the front doors were closed but not locked as people can come and go.

I hear you. I also like to chat the girls up and get their vibe before negotiating.

I should have been more specific when I wrote that CDMX now sucks! I was referring to the strip club scene. I would now classify CDMX as an escort city. Now some background on why that is.

In the past, pre-Mancera, there were tons of Strip Clubs in CDMX and the State of Mexico - "tables" or "puteros" in local parlance. Now, they have been pretty much closed down. According to government sources, because the women were being trafficked. I will not comment further on this subject other than to say that I always take with a grain of salt any government proclamation that they "protecting" me or "assuring" my / our safety. Having said that, many of my "amigas" that I have know for years have been negatively affected by the Mexican government's "protection. " To make ends meet, they now have to travel to other cities where strip clubs can still operate or move to escorting.

I live here so trust when I say that the Mexican government is incapable of providing even basic community safety, let alone sex trafficking interdiction. Rant over. Here are some links. With this in mind, I will provide more information pertinent to Mexican strip clubs.

In my opinion there exists 3 types of strip clubs in Mexico. All being a thin cover for brothels. Most will have on site booths or rooms (rarer) for some private time calling the service an "especial. " The rest will try to project a more sophisticated, reserved veneer such as private limo rides with your favorite dancer. In this case sophisticated being much more $$$ and not necessarily a better time.

1. Higher end clubs.

The higher end clubs can be found on the internet. Just do a google search "tables CDMX" or "tables Guadalajara" and make sure to check the date. If you speak Spanish there are more search options - "puteros tables CDMX reseñas. " These are also the clubs where the taxi will take you if asked. Taxis receive a pretty fat commission for bringing customers. These club cater to tourists, local businessmen who are entertaining, and people who have more $$$ than common sense. Once in a while is OK. Even more so if you are travelling and don't have the opportunity back home, but a continual dose of these places will leave you broke and thinking there has to be a "better way. ".

You will find many 8- 10's in these places. Drop-dead gorgeous Mexicanas and foreigners. I. e. Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, and Eastern Europe. You can expect prices such as these:

Covers can range: $10 - 30 USD (just tell them that you won't pay and they will probably let you in anyway if a foreigner. Also, ask to check the place out first. No problem with this request).

Your drink: $8 -12 USD (This is a beer).

Her drink: $15-25 USD.

Lap dances: up to $50 USD for 15 minutes.

FS and GFE (maybe, if you are lucky): between $150 to 300 USD with a strong tendency / bias towards the higher end.

To my way of thinking, they are clip joints.

2. Middlin' clubs. My favorites!

You will not find these clubs with a quick internet search in English. You will need to speak Spanish and spend a lot of time researching. They are generally located away from business / tourist centers. Closer to industrial or local commercial hubs. They mostly cater to locals with the random amounts of foreign business people / technicians thrown in for good measure. For example. Places like Ecatepec or Cuautitlan-Izacalli (check a map close to CDMX, but in the State of Mexico. Estado de Mexico). You will find some very attractive women, however, not in the quantity of the higher end clubs. Experience has shown that these girls are either on the upswing or down swing of their carreers. You will find the younger (18-23) ones just getting started (I. E. Less than one-year and not having started contracts via representatives) and my personal favorites the slightly older ones that are slowing down (28-35 who now have different priorities / responsibilities or are just plan tired of the higher end game). The older ones can still look very good, play less games, know what they are doing, and understand that they need to bring more than looks to the table.

These middling' girls are more likely to spend time with you drinking, flirting, and generally having a good time. Much less time conscious. Yes, you will be paying her fichas, but they will be much cheaper ($5-10 USD) and, as always, you can tell her to slow-down as you are not in a rush (Tranquila Preciosa. No tengo prisa.). This method works wonders. Filters out the mercenaries and you are demonstrating that you can handle yourself and her. Great way to lay the foundation for a good time later. In most of these places the girl will grind on you just for the drink. No need to pay more. On-site service can run the gamut of less than 30 USD to 100 USD depending on the local market. My strategy is one on-site and, if good, get her whatsapp and then it is really on.

In addition to a Spanish, internet deep-dive, you could speak to your Mexican counterparts / vendor / customers about some of the local clubs. Don't worry as you are not in the US. These guys get it. Even if they act like they don't understand. They do. Just let them know that you are looking for a "local" place. They get it. I wish I could give you some names, but all of the places that I knew of have all been shutdown (CDMX / Estado de Mexico). The reason why I now use Seeking Arrangement or see my "amigas" and their friends.

3. Lower end clubs. A. K. A. "puteros de mala muerte".

These places can be very interesting and you can find some real gems, but I doubt you will have the time. Furthermore, I do not recommend these places in large cities such as CDMX, GDL, or MTY. Just looking for problems. My forays into these dens of immorality is when I am in the provinces (I. E. Sinaloa, Michoacan, Veracruz, Oaxaca, etc.) or smaller cities (Veracruz, Celaya, etc.). Definitely do not go alone. I don't. I should write another post dedicated to these places.

Other options:

1. High end restaurants with hostesses. In CDMX place such as Angus, Bife del Padrino, and Prime. In Monterrey, the restaurant Cazadores is a blast. Just don't play to much roulette. Can be more expensive, but it is fun. Go with a group, order some bottles and invite the hostess. I have have hooked many times. About a 50% hit rate. To break it down further - 10% of overall hit rate on one visit (this woman convinced me that God is indeed a man and he wants us men to be happy). Second visit - 40% of the overall hit rate. Third visit - 50% of the overall hit rate. Meaning, if she ain't going by the third visit. She ain't going at least for what I consider a reasonable cost. These places will require that you are in town for at least a few days if not a week or that you will be returning periodically.

I generally, leave this kind of thing as a back burner item that I work in parallel with Seeking Arrangement and the middling' places. I figure that I have to eat so might as well turn eating into an opportunity. If it happens. Great. If not, no problem, I at least got a good meal.

2. Cantinas.

Very typical Mexican working man drinking bar. Local girls (some can be old and hideous / some young, beautiful and fairly innocent) are "allowed" to work for tips. Their tips come from drinking and dancing (keeping you company). Most of these cantinas serve food with the drinks. Buy x number of drinks / beers and they provide pretty good food. I. e. Carnitas, chamorro, caldo, tacos de canasta, guaraches, etc. Please note that some cantinas do not allow girls to work. Just look around when you get there. This option can take a lot of time, requires strong local knowledge, and Spanish is a must. I need to write something about this option also.

Now, you will probably notice that I have not mentioned the bars in Tijuana's La Coahuila. The omission was on purpose. They are completely different animals. Nothing in the rest of Mexico even comes close to service, accessibility and value. I have found nothing that can compare to the likes of HK or the scene, in general, of the Zona Norte. As an example, I have friends who fly from Mexico City to Tijuana on Thursday and return Sunday (their so-called "puente de putas" - puentes are long weekends in Mexico). It is just cheaper for them than trying to crack the CDMX strip club scene.

My final thought would be, if possible, to end your trip in Tijuana. Because after Tijuana you will not find anything in the rest of Mexico that can compare. This way your trip won't be ruined with inflated expectations.

Also, check out the Guadalajara section (mostly massage parlors with line-ups or escorts) and the Mexico City thread (Juan Carter is on top of it. Escort and SW). I don't post in either one, because I don't do the escort, massage, or SW thing so I don't have much to contribute.

I live in Mexico (2 hours north of Mexico City), am fluent in Spanish and even I go to Tijuana, CR, or Colombia. Before CDMX was a blast (about 10 years ago), now it just sucks. IMHO. A pale shadow of it's former self.

However, if you are determined to travel to CDMX and Guadalajara, just for the experience. I can definitely understand. My advice can be summed up in two words. Seeking Arrangement. I use this site throughout Mexico, except for Tijuana and Mexicali. Sign-up and get to know some girls before your get down here. The Tapatias (females from Guadalajara) can be absolutely gorgeous; truly breathtaking. And in Mexico City (CDMX), you have women who have relocated from all over the country and world. Just know that the Venezolanas and Colombianas that you meet in Mexico City via Seeking Arrangement are straight up escorts. Again not an issue, but a lot of work to end up with the same quality escort at a higher price given the airfare. You will need to filter through he local girls, but you can definitely find low-mileage, high quality, and extremely economic alternatives that will be happy to show you around their respective cities. If I had to pay the airfare, I would just skip CDMX and Guadalajara and go directly to Medellin.

Thanks for your input. My trip is for business so I do have to stop in CDMX and Guadalajara. What about the strip club / night club scene in CDMX and Guadalajara? Are there places where you can go do some dirty dancing with freelancers and discuss a price over a drink or too. I like that kind of setup more than direct escorts. I like the hunt or getting hunted.

I'm travelling from Portland and will be making stops in Tijuana, Guadalajara and Mexico City. I know Tijuana has tons of strip club action but are there good spots worth visiting in Guadalajara and Mexico City. Posted a few days back that I am traveling through San Diego in February but the days were suboptimal (in on Sunday out on a Sunday).

Now I am coming in on a Tuesday morning in March and will be in town again on a Friday night.
