Thank you all for the tips. Was there Sunday afternoon till Tuesday morning. I had a great time although I made a few rookie mistakes.

- when I got to the San Diego Airport I took a cab intending to go to the trolley but the cab driver talked to me into taking me to the Border saying he would give me a great deal. Well it cost me $65 to get there and only 20 to get back so bad ideal.

- when I got past the Border I took the first cab I saw and he insisted I pay $15 when we got there because of "traffic" he also drove like an absolute crazy maniac. I took the "taxi Libre" back for only 5. Now I know better.

I checked into Hotel cascades which is nothing spectacular but it's clean and comfortable. Once I finally got to the club it was everything I could have possibly hoped for. I actually think the messeros weren't too bad. I just ignored them when I wanted to walk around when I got there. When I did sit down I had a guy named "pollo" take care of me and he was awesome. Got me what I needed when I needed but wasn't pushy. He didn't bring any girls to me instead he told me to let him know when I found one I wanted. I like that method whole lot better..

Depends on the girl's situation. Quite a few have families, and or boyfriends / husbands. For those chances of hooking up outside the club are slim / none. Others are single / geographically single (families, kids are living with mom in some other part of Mexico) for those you can probably hook up outside HK hours. Most usually work 5 days a week, so they have two days off to do as they please. Or you can hook up before and or after they go to work. I'm planning an extended Tijuana visit with a stay at Hotel Cascadas to enjoy dalliances with HK girls and paraditas. I've been trying to read up as best I can, and in particular, I want to try to confirm how I can not get ripped off by Cascadas. Here's what I'm planning. Please, if you will, correct me where I'm wrong.

1. Buy a VIP card. Pay for it in pesos. Get it in a name other than my actual name. Make sure I don't have luggage with me when I do this so they don't know I'm going to stay at their hotel. (To accomplish this, maybe I need to stay one night elsewhere?

2. Return at a different time and pay for one night in pesos. Do not pay for more than one night at a time. Don't tell them that I have a VIP card until I'm about to pay (and they won't know because I'll have checked in under a different name than the card). Probably try to get a receipt anyway?

3. Go back to the front desk each day and pay for one additional night in pesos along with my VIP card.

4. Online reservations are worthless.

Tell me where I'm wrong or where I'm over thinking it. My goal is to stay in a nicer room (Jacuzzi or master suite) for about a week and get the VIP card discount each night.

(My username means nothing. I flipped through a Lonely Planet and picked the word my finger landed on.).
