She said she can't because she has family matters but she would go now. Then I countered her again and said 1000 if she wants to go now. She said she can't do that.

Then what she said next surprised me because of all of the hullabaloo here. She said, somewhat reluctantly, she can't do 1000 pesos because Hong Kong charges her $20 USD to leave while she is working. I then clarified with her that Hong Kong was charging her and not the meseros taking a cut or Cascadas.

She then did the calculations on her phone, using 19 as an exchange rate and said 1000 pesos is too little because Hong Kong would take 20, so she would only get $32. Mind you this girl said she was working at Hong Kong less than 2 months. Her attitude also told me she was less jaded..

Let me start by saying that I have access to a great deal of information about HK that most mongers don't have access to. On another discussion site, other posters were known to specifically ask me for information regarding various happenings at HK. I've been called the "CIA of HK.
