Jackie has a very good tipping strategy for La Zona.
I would never tip anyone unless they do something special for me. I never give money to beggars or gum sellers to encourage them to beg their whole lives. I give money to needy young mothers with babies, but not when I see them on the street again and again.
Unlike the rest of Mexico, La Zona is an unique place, a huge hot bordelo where pretty sweethearts give guys their companies, entertainment, love and sex. In return, guys are usually way overgenerous to the girls and the workers supporting them. Tipping scale in La Zona is and should be way higher than the rest of Mexico. There are no comparisons.
When in Rome, do what Romans do. I have seen a HK's floor manager tip Pepe's retarded parking attendant when he left his car. I guessed he wanted to make sure nobody messes with it. HK girls usually tip valet parking guys and food workers generously. Even street girls tip tacos guys generously.
HK strippers usually tip the stage handlers 20-30% of their tips. While a few girls get rained with hundreds green bills, most only get a few dollars tips for their acts. Chicago's strippers fare even worse. There are usually 4 to 5 strippers on stage at night; none would get any tips from guys gawking them. Strippers get paid about 500 pesos by the club to hangout all night, doing 3 to 5 strip acts. They even share their tip with stage handlers who collect the tips for them. Strippers and dancers should be tipped for their performances.
I would cruise the club and if I find hot girls, I would stop to pop a few $ into their bras and panties to grope their assets and talk to them. It's a cheap way to get to know hot girls. But for girls who walk around the club asking for tips, I only tip them selectively, not the chunky ones with big fake boobs and fake butts. Girls, who approach me offering their companies, usually get a tip before I turn them down. I minimize tips to meseros and buy drinks directly from the bar without tipping bar tenders. But if I am sitting with girls and meseros bring the drinks, $1 per person served is fair.
Security guys, door men, MCs, floor managers, hotel reception ect deserve tips on special occasions like Christmas and New Year. La Zona workers know who you are and remember your faces as well as your missing tips. They are nice, reasonable, hard working people with minimal wages, who depend on tips for living. They are no where as bad and rude as restaurant waiters in France and Italy. May be God is punishing those rude bad asses with the highest Corona Virus death rate.
We should learn and adjust our tipping practice to get good services and maintain harmony in the pleasure places.

Posts: 334I agree with the fake butts. I hate them as well as I do fake tits. You can always tell the difference.
I do hate when the mesero's bring girls over. No matter how I describe the type I like they just bring whoever they want it seems. There is one guy, Luis I believe is his name, great guy. , he knows his shit and best fuck in my life was new girl he brought over one time but normally I hate when others do that.
Sometimes the girls are not into meeting you and it shows, like they are forced into meeting you etc.
What I do enjoy seeing (probably due personal childhood issues of not feeling empowered in my own life. Is when the meseros are dragging around the girls by the hand making them go wherever they want. Kind of "power / control / domination" fetish thing I guess. Who knows but it's kind of a turn on. Maybe because untimely it is the girl who has the power over us to say NO, so it's that little glimpse of control where she has to give over her power for a moment.

Posts: 334What to HK Girls Make a day (take home)
I wonder how much the girls make in a day at HK.
A few girls make big bucks.
Some make what. Maybe $200-$300?
Most make $100.
Some that are not so pretty. Maybe $50 if they get no fucky?
One girl told me she lives at the Cascada's and is required to pay $50/ day to live there. Is this true?
Curious if anyone knows.

Posts: 334LOL. JH. You said it perfectly. "And for sure the same for the beautiful 19 year old bar girl / escort who lovingly coos sweet nothings in your ear while you nail her into a dirty bed, immediately after some sweaty, obese motherfucker with bad breath & a misshapen little wiener talked insultingly to her during sex & then tried to get out of paying her their previously agreed upon amount".
Unbelievable what they do with a smile on their face. You can't help but think what a mind-fuck that must be for the girls to be fucked which has to feel a little good just do to the senses etc. But be mentally totally turned off by a guy. If it was legal in the US you would have a whole industry of Physiologists to deal with the mental trauma of fucking guys they despise.

Just for perspective as well. When I was 19 years old I worked as a desk clerk on my feet 8 hours a day inhaling smoke from the customers who came into the hotel to check in. My legs were exhausted after 9 hours and I was just a "kid".
Plus. Inhaling the smoke was not good every day, all day and it's what the waiters and girls need to deal with every day they work.
Another issue is hearing. Long term effects of listening to loud music (yes the sound system is Good! But still listening for that many hours day after day for a few years, I believe it will cause some damage over time which will affect them later in life.
So. Easy. No, it's not when they have to deal with with general public, plus dealing with semi drunk guys all the time has to be a pain.
My hats off to them and when I get the opportunity to tip, I always do and I don't take them for granted.

As somebody coming from a food service background I beg to differ. If you had one customer per hour to deal with as wait staff maybe your point would be more valid but anybody who has ever bartended, served, or cooked in a busy fast paced environment such as HK knows better. First you are dealing with drunk and obnoxious customers. People here will plead to be perfect customers that never complain but the reality is different. The environment; loud music cigarette smoke, people vomiting, fights are some of the routine things you deal with on a nightly basis regardless of what restaurant or bar in the world you work in it's part of the job. I agree that the waiters can be dicks but how many cheap skate rude demanding customers did he have to deal with before you. A sever who wants to make tip money is usually handling 4-7 customers demanding things left and right, food, drinks, pussy, etc all on top of not being able to hear because of loud music and slurred speech. To paint these guys work as so easy a fifth grader can do it, I challenge anyone one on this board to work a FRI / Sat night in HK and see how well you do. If anybody is up for the challenge PM me and your first arriba is on me. Cheers.

But what you describe above about a waiter's job being difficult, well, not really. You describe tasks in which waiters do not perform, such as making sure the food is prepared the specific way it was ordered and keeping food separated. Those tasks are performed by the cook, not the waiter. And the tasks you describe as "difficult" can only be difficult for people with an IQ below the level of imbecile. You say that bringing the "correct" plate of food is difficult? How hard is to tell the difference between a hamburger and a salad? Not that hard I hope. Bringing the correct food is so easy any 10 year old can do it. And while on rare occasions customer do complain to the waiter about things that are not under his control, like the parking lot, it is extremely rare. Most diners' complaints involve quality of food or poor wait service such as forgetting to bring requested items. Overall, a waiter's job is extremely easy. Greet customer, write down their order, relay the order to the cooks, carry plates to the table. Follow up a couple times to make sure food is satisfactory and offer refills and condiments. It's about as easy a job as there is.
