So I ate at Farmers Table in the Zona Rio New City complex and it was fucking delicious. I got some pork dish and the rice was lovely. Bill came out to $38 with tip. I got a mixed drink and cappuccino to end it. With time to kill, since it was only 930 pm, I decided to see HK after being away for a month or more since the regular is back home in Sinaloa until Thursday. I walk into HK and it isn't very busy. I notice it is pretty empty, but decent crowd. I prefer not having to elbow my way through the crowd or smell BO from sweaty mongers and chicas. The only annoyance was the thick smoke drying out my eyes and they need to invest in a better ventilation system. So I go and sit at the bar by the second stage on the upper level. While I'm sitting drinking my drink, some guy comes out of nowhere and shakes my hand and says I'm handsome. I'm like wtf and ok and he is on his way. I continue watching the chicas, but nothing interests me.

I walk down and sit at the seats by the restrooms and enjoying the view of the main stage and front pole dancers. Random chicas come by to introduce themselves and they have "pro" written all over them by how they talk and act. I decline their advances and tell them I'm looking around. All of a sudden the same guy appears and sits next to me asking questions if I was ever in BUDS and how many times I failed until I made the seal team. I kept telling the dude I'm not in the military and he just kept talking to me that he doesn't like working girls. I tell him "cool, I'm watching the ladies" and point a few out that are interesting. He then proceeds to tell me how he would kick all the other dudes asses and I'm like go for it. It is a free country and he is a free man so kick some as if you want. I get a text on my WhatsApp from my regular asking why I haven't responded to her question and I wasn't aware she sent me anything as cell coverage is spotty in the club. He gets up and tries to put the beer in front of my face and I walk away. He is a weird dude and probably in the wrong club. Hope you're not a member here as you need to find a boys club..

I will say the gay scene in Tijuana is much higher than anyplace else I've seen. Probably because their scene is right there near the arch. I saw a gay guy checking me out at 7 am. Near the arch. A lot of bums and weirdos hang out in HK. If it was only guys like us, mongers that actually spend and not just walk around not spending then they wouldn't have to be so pushy with drinks. That's exactly what I hate about the zone and the losers that they let into that place. The only way I get away from it is having my waiter kick out anyone that is bugging me. I try to ignore them also so they get the point but sometimes that makes them try harder.

You might want to reconsider going to HK. The chances are is that your ex knows girls still working and they can tell her that you are in the club.

I eventually left as I didn't find anyone that I felt I could connect with and made it back to my Airbnb. Clubs just aren't the same without your regulars DFK you in the booths letting you finger fuck them. The crowd and chicas were kind of tame compared to the summer. I recall chicas camel sliding, doggy, etc. In the booths. Not sure if the wild ones went home or it was just too early in the night. I am flying in on Monday and heading to Mexicali on Tuesday, then spending another night in San Diego on Thursday. So I'm assuming their rates are based on 30 min sessions? I'll look into the VIP card.

The rates listed on the Cascadas website are the full overnight price. The VIP card knocks 70% off the price on Monday and Tuesday.

The discussions about $570 pesos are for the short term rooms. 3 sessions with an HK girl will run you about $90 in ST room costs, which is about the same price as the VIP card and an overnight room on Monday or Tuesday.

If I'm in the Zona on a Monday or Tuesday, I always get a room at Cascadas, even if I'm crossing back across the border that night, or staying overnight at Ticuan.
