Had room for night at HK.

Had girl I knew I wanted. And she wanted me. (OK guys just a little humor there.) But seriously we get along well as on my previous visit I had strictly talked to her. I approach her, we talk briefly, I make an offer that I know I will not budge from (60) and didn't even have to. She gave no bullshit counter or anything. She is down. No haggling, let's just enjoy was our mutual vibe.

So we are literally about to stand up and go to the room and one of the staff comes over and tries hawking the VIP room. I show him wrist band and say "No thanks, room. " he keeps trying. Very pushy. I. mean. Tries. Really. Hard. Doesn't let up. Next tries to get her involved. So I wonder do he and she work together on some commission bullshit? Her body language is like she is not digging his VIP push either, the guy (me) just offered the room.

Anyway we had to literally get up and walk away from babbling VIP dance pusher.

WTF is up with these guys? Any thoughts from you vets on what to do, other then what I did?

The line up was pretty good. There were a lot of girls I'the never seen before in addition to the regulars. The girls seemed livelier than they usually are. I met an old spinner dancing on the bar, 26 yo but was youthful, short, and cute like a spinner. Nothing voluptuous, just a cute girl with a smile. I tipped her and she gave me a nice smile and a big smooch for it, tipped her again and she did the same. I was feeling good vibes from her and decided to try her for a drink. The meseros were all over me for sure, but I didn't feel like they were overly pushy. There was one incident when I was with the first girl. One of her co workers came to our area to eat the appetizer I had bought for her and the mesesro tried asking the second girl to see if she wanted anything. I shook my head and told him "nah nah nah nah. I'm going to go broke if I buy every girl a drink". I'm not sure if he understood me, but I'm sure he got the message.

Here's a break down of costs from what I can remember that night. The girl I took up quickly asked for 100. I gave her a look like (What the heck?) she tried for 90, but I still gave her a look of disappointment. She said 80 and I agreed. I think next time I'll try finding the perfect girl first and then butter her up with fichas. Hopefully she'll give me a lower rate in the end.

Entry + Heineken= $10.00.

Tecate= $4.00.

Heineken= $5.00..

You bought you and her a drink, you tipped the mesero. I have had them hover like flies trying an appetizer, don't forget a visit from the basket guy too. Sometimes the mesero has to waive others off. Look him in the eye and say "I need some time with my girl to get to know her. Excuse us here. " Sometimes the meseros can be great but you must control the game.

Always tip but know when to tell them to take a walk. Don't worry, they will be back to lift her drink at the half way mark. Again just say "good for now". This is more of a hint to the girl to drink faster. As soon as you walk thru that curtain the game has begun but how you control it will decide the time you have.

And man I miss the game.

You got people that are pure trash with their hand out everywhere in Tijuana, especially the Zona and the border. I never give anybody anything. Honestly, and quite literally, I'd rather flush my money down the toilet than hand it over to them. One time I was waiting in the motorist line waiting to cross back. Up ahead I see a guy with a giant swollen elephant leg. For some weird reason I happened to be in a good, generous mood. So I start digging in my pocket for a buck or two. One of the cart vendors sees me and somehow knows that I intend to give Elephant Leg a buck. He yells over to Elephant Leg and he comes over to my car, starts knocking on my window, and demands I hand over some money. Needless to say, I ignored him.

Worse still are children begging for money. Most of them are controlled by a handler who takes away all the money they get. And by giving these kids money you are contributing to the delinquency of a minor. You're encouraging them to stay on the streets instead of going to school.

The worst is the adults that intentionally bring kids begging. These POS are putting innocent children in harms way in order to gain sympathy from passersby to gain a few pesos. Many of the toddlers are drugged to make them more controllable. There's this one guy who used to bring a baby into the zona late at night. He would always be shocked when I would ignore his pleas for money. He would keep on saying "I have a baby!" but I didn't give a fuck I'm not contributing towards that baby being in the Zona late at night.

Sometimes I can't help but smile and giggle internally like a young boy in a toy store. I wanted to get a better look at all of the girls so I made my way to the back entrance and then up the stairs. Decided to stay there since there was a cream / soap show going on.

I didn't really notice these things while we were in the club because when I approached her, she was sitting down and I didn't really pay attention to her heels. I would say she stood about 4'11 and had a big, BIG butt for her size. So big, it kind of looked awkward when she was standing. Oh crap. I forgot to mention. I did a lap around the building to see the street girls and didn't find any of them attractive. Sure, they might cost you less, but it doesn't seem worth it to me when you can fuck some really pretty girls in Hong Kong. Stopped by Adelitas for a minute and the girls were kinda busted in my opinion. They just didn't compare to the girls at Hong Kong. Maybe all of the hot ones were already upstairs. Who knows.

As a rookie I let myself get temporarily worked by the fisha drink game. Then after taking the taxi to the border he did a frownie face when he didn't think I tipped him enough. 5 bucks he can STFU. Anyhow by that time I had had it with the hand-out people and what happens next? A very nice young girl opens my taxi door for me. At the border, this is a well-organized beggars corporation business. They even have a boss and women with small children are strategically placed along the sidewalk 24/7. Girls who open the taxi doors are too young to work in Zona and I always joke with them. If you give a tip then do not give more than 25 cents.

Think about how many cabs drop people off at this spot per day. Hundreds. Easily. They are such scam artists.

Many beggars at the border do it full-time. If you pay attention, the same ones are there day after day because they are making more money than any 'respectable' job in Tijuana will pay. Why break your back in a factory for $5-10 per day when you can make that in an hour putting your hand out to gullible tourists?

Instead of opening cab doors those girls should be in school or bettering themselves somehow instead of ripping off tourists. But they have no incentive to when they can make a great living by Tijuana standards opening cab doors. These girls have been known to pickpocket.

Don't encourage this behavior by giving them money.

The average low skill laborer in Tijuana is making $5-20 per day. These girls are making more than that in an hour. Don't reward the harassment of tourists for money with a very comfortable living.
