Ensure you have a prepaid room with a safe, have a throw away Tijuana wallet. Only carry 1 credit card for emergencies. Change 3/4 of your money for peso's at an exchange next to the trolly station. Invest in a passport card. Get a taxi at the stand across the street from the customs building were all the locals wait in line and go directly to your Hotel. Put all your valuables in the safe in your room including half your money, credit card, keys and passport card along with your phone. Go in all the bars on the 2 main streets where the Hong Kong is. The rest you will pick up as you go along. Walk like you know what your doing and don't talk to any of the dudes on the street. I will be going at the end of October if you need additional assistance.
