Posts: 2420The other HK / Cascadas scam is the paper receipt they give you when you put down a $30 room deposit. It is a handwritten note written in Spanish on some scrap piece of paper. When they give it to you, they shut the fuck up and say nothing. Only upon checking out do they ask for it. I have seem mongers on multiple times lose their deposits when they check out because Cascadas forgets to input the deposit of cash into their computer system. Fucking felons run HK.

Meanwhile. Posters have complained about current prices and have lamented back to prices 10-15-20 years ago. I wonder who amongst us would like to go back to our wages 15-20 years ago?

Ya wingmen and I usually go to OXXO to buy our preferred beer brands, also get a couple cups of ice to drink with the Tequila and Cognac in my bag.
Also stock it with Tecate red and blue as the girls like light beers only $1 in OXXO vs $3 by Cascada.

Employers that hire H-2 A workers must pay a state-specific minimum wage, which may not be lower than AEWR.
In California, the pay rate for H-2 A workers was $14.77 in 2020 and $16.05 in 2021. In 2022,
The state's H-2 A workers will see a $2. 74 hourly jump from the 2020 rate for an hourly pay of $17.51.

Minimum wage for servers in California is the same as it is elsewhere in the state regardless of the fact that waiters and waitresses receive tips. Tips don't count toward minimum wage for servers in California. Employers must pay them the state's standard minimum wage.

In Cascada's fridge, beers are $3, juices $2, water $1. When you check out, reception sends a guy scurrying to the room to check the fridge. They will deduct your deposit for any missing drinks, even if the attendants forgot to restock after the last guy. If you did not take any drink, just tell them so. They have been honest and would back down on my words. To avoid errors, count the 10 drinks in the fridge after check in, tell the attendants If any is missing.
It seems 2021 had fewer guys in HK on weekends compared to previous years before CoVid hit. There were also fewer girls doing much less business this year. A lot of regulars have not come back. I did not see any indication of more SE Asia guys. There are many hot young girls just starting the business in HK, not making any money. I hope the bros would go around, talk to them, tip them to encourage them to stay. You may find some very hot, sweet girls still fresh.
Yep. You should move to CDMX so I have someone to hang out with when I am there.

We should have a pretty good idea what that's going to mean for the re-distribution of monger money for a bunch of these places sometime around late summer.
I don't expect HK or Cascadas to lower prices. If the market gets flooded with chicas going back to work, it's overall going to be good for all of us, though.

Sorry guys.
The article must have had errors. I also thought their figure was way too low.
Artistic performers have to pay for their own stage time? Must be very hard to make enough tips to live on.

Smashing the water meter will delay the correct bill for a month or so. Bribing the meter readers delays the correct bills for up to 30 years till the meter reader retires! 30 Years is now up and Tijuana is looking to recover the underpaid water bills. . .

They have rip off scheme too with the deposit for overnight stays. During my last trip after Thanksgiving they did it twice. Paid the $30 deposit and received just $25-$26 back. I should of contested but the first time I recognized this was already back across the border and the 2nd time downstairs waiting for the shuttle. They try to clip you any phucking way they can.
They had better enjoy the surplus of weekend mongers now while they can with Asian countries shut down and restricted due to COVID. Have to think more discounts offered once world eventually opens fully back up and mongers that typically go elsewhere stop coming to TJ. I think the Dominican Republic is open up for travel and mongering now.
I'm looking very closely at moving to Mexico sometime the back half of 2022 to focus on my small business while reducing my overhead. Would love TJ but there are more affordable options down country or maybe even outskirts of CDMX.
