Predictions for Quality & Quantity for 4th of July!

What does this Fourth of July weekend hold for Tijuana? Packed with guys? Quality of girls both in bars and SW?

I may sneak down for an overnight-er but not for a double or triple sausage feast.

    The Tall Man.

    The stupid, petty nit-picking losers

It should be obvious to everyone that there are a few guys who act like they own this forum, jerking people around, making stupid accusations, nit picking on every petty issues, giving other posters hard times just to make themselves feel important.

Posters should report any harassment by these rude, obnoxious, offensive guys to the moderators, and avoid them like shit.

Some of these guys are so stupid and clueless, they never noticed HK's public skimming of strippers' propinas that has been going on for the last 4 years.

While we have little leverage to change HK's compensation scheme, I would tip strippers directly only after they already donate their propinas to the fat butch, so they can keep more of it. I urge other bros to do the same to send a loud and clear message to HK's filthy rich and horny owners.

Over the years I saw many women slapping the fuck out of dudes for trying to cop a free feel, and the management will always take the girls side on this issue.

Believe me, once you see some of those hot bodies in HK, you will want to touch a bit.

    Just my 2 lousy pesos.

    Tipping

Come on Gents tip a little most of these girls give a good routine. I usually make it a point to sit on perverts row and trick off at least 10 bucks or so. If you are in the balcony then you are not required to tip. However, HK is a hybrid you. S style club so most tit bars state side the girls will walk round after their set and solicit. We should not judge anybody who does not tip. Most Mexicans do not tip in general, or if they do it is very little. The locals will try to extort foreigners into giving them money out of them any way they can. Next time at the Taco stand look to see if any locals tip you will see it is rare.

    I agree with you Jackie.

When writings are expresses as opinions.

But many times we get posters here that ask questions.

They deserve good, accurate answers, not BS from someone who feels compelled to answer all questions, even ones he doesn't know the answers to.

    The tipping option.

No, you don't have to tip in la Coahuila, but there are times when you should. When you are sitting at a stage in HK, the girl dancing will not ask you for a tip. But, if you hold up a dollar bill or a twenty peso bill, the dancer will come over to you to collect the money. She is also giving you the "green light" to touch her. I touch them softly, many others do not.

Other girls will get their tips when standing at the ramp between floors or dancing at the big pole of asses, as well as on the bars. Once again, if you touch, you pay. Other girls will walk around, I call them the wanderers, to try to get tips. You have an option at this point, you can say no gracias, or touch the girl and tip her. It is just the HK way.

Other places can be annoying. At my favorite taco stand, which is always busy, it seems like there is always some guy playing a guitar and singing. I did not ask for this entertainment, but somehow this person seems to think I should tip him as he shoves his tip can, attached to the end of his guitar in my face; that's annoying!

Bar Tropical can be annoying as well. Sometimes there will be a guest singer and after a couple of songs, they want a tip as well. Again, I did not ask for that entertainment, thus, I do not tip. On the other hand, on the weekend, BT will have girls stripping on the floor and showing their not very good pole dancing skills. After they dance, she is escorted around and asking for tips. Once again, you have an option at this point, you can say no gracias, or touch the girl and tip her. I always smile, touch, and tip.

At the other end of the spectrum is Chicago Club. It seems like I am the only one in the entire club that tips the dancers. So those girls don't expect a peso for anyone in the first place.

But for the run of the mill usual stage time, I'm certainly not going to tip. Heck, if I'm chatting with somebody, I might not even be watching the stage anyway.
Your statement was that soliciting tips after a show was unethical. Unethical is things like bill padding, bait and switch, etc. Soliciting a tip may or may not be annoying, but is certainly within the realm of proper business ethics, at least as it pertains to a strip club.

Now, to go off on a tangent for a moment. Men have been tipping women to dance for them since time immemorial. It's hardly a new concept. But it does vary by venue. Comparing a Mexican strip club to a Thai go-go bar is apples and oranges. A Thai go-go is a 1960's anachronism, left over from the Vietnam war. The girls were supposed to dance and create a lively atmosphere. Tipping was never a part because it wasn't really a strip club in the classic sense. Now other places, like the Myanmar "Fashion Shows," tipping is certainly done (albeit indirectly). So, again, it's hardly unethical, it just doesn't apply to every venue and every instance. On the other hand, tipping in Mexican strip clubs, whether it's while the lady is dancing, or afterwards while doing a lap around the club, is absolutely normal.

Let's now take a highly local venue, La Cueva, as another example. Locals like to tip the girls when they dance or do a routine. So, at LCdP, when the girl starts to dance everybody starts waving around their dollar bills. What happens? The mama-san takes the girl, in the middle of her set, and leads her by the hand all over the club picking up tips. The girl's set finishes, she leaves, and maybe she's been on stage 2 minutes. Very annoying, IMHO. I would much rather they wait until the set is finished, then take her around the club.

Now back to the original topic; as I pointed out, taking the girl around after a show and collecting tips is certainly not out of the ordinary (I've had the girls themselves do it in CA clubs). The tipping is always optional, they don't shake the can in front of your face to intimidate you, nor does anybody hold a gun to your head. It's not unethical, nor is it particularly uncommon in Mexico. And we're in Mexico, not Thailand or Colombia.

If you want to have a separate discussion of unethical practices in HK, we could discuss that topic for days. There are plenty, believe me. But soliciting tips isn't one of them.

At the end, a mesero took the girls, both stark nekkid and covered in Barbasol, on a lap of the club, soliciting tips with a tip can. Now almost everybody in the club watched the show, why not ask for a tip? It was certainly optional to contribute, but it was hardly unethical to ask.

This is unethical business, even in the monger world in my humble opinion. I don't care if other girls react if they see I don't tip. I'm sure the one (s) I'll be giving the arriba business to will not mind if I do not tip the other dancers.

I will no longer do a trip report, experts such as yourself have already been there and done that so it will only bore you.
