Horsetrader, I must give you the same advice I gave Phordphan: have a basic understanding of 1st grade math before you take a shot at me. Would you rather pay $16 mx /$1 dlr or $18 mx / $1 dlr? Anybody with an IQ above 2 would rather pay 16. A 16/1 rate is excellent for the monger. Almost everybody on this board agrees that it is advantageous to pay in pesos, not dollars. Why? Because the rate at 16/1 is far below market rate of around 18.5/1. Even you agree with that. If you believe that 16/1 is not a good rate for the monger then you must believe in paying in dollars, not pesos. Therefore you just contradicted yourself. I'm awaiting your apology.
    ClamSlammer,

I think you are the one who is confused. Here is an example: if you have $100 then at an exchange rate of 1 $=16 MX you get MX 1,600. If exchange rate is 1 $=18 MX then you get MX 1,800. Now if a chica cost you a fixed MX 1,600 then under the former exchange rate you just spend full $100. If exchange rate is latter then you are still left with MX 200 in hand. So which exchange rate do you prefer? 1 $ exchanged for MX16 or MX18?

Wombat, you might want to check your reading/math comprehension.

Try understanding a post before you attempt to attack it. HK is dollar based and not peso based since prices in pesos fluctuate whereas prices in dollars remain fixed. Where did I say I want to sell dollars for 16 pesos each? I said 16/1 is a great rate for the monger. That is, I'd rather pay 16 pesos than $1 for the same good/service. I, like yourself and everybody else on this board, prefer to pay in pesos, which in our case is the same thing as selling 16 pesos in exchange for $1dlr worth of goods/service. You're claiming the opposite, that I want to sell a dollar for 16 pesos.

After ClamSlammer repeatedly dissed PhordPhan for an admitted math error, I'm sure that ClamSlammer checked his math multiple times before his post.

    Foreign atms

Yes Schwab reimburses all ATM fees. Really the best option for international travel. I get Interbank rates anywhere between 1830's and 1860's. Best atms to use are HSBCS one located inside 24 hour Sorianna next to Gusssipiis Italian joint just north of eRvo near arch. Also the Affirme ATMs inside Caliente casino offer higher withdrawal limits. Average Mexican atms fees are anywhere between 17 to 35 pesos. Be wary of the Scotia ATM near Adelitas they recently started charging about 175 pesos transaction fee. Was in a pinch and had to use but since it gets reimbursed no biggie. Also with Schwab you have to set travel alert otherwise they will lock you out.

As always pay everything in local currency with the exception of some places local currency goes farther.

I did not go to TIJ for a while. Last week, I went there and happened to meet my favorite girl.

I: did not see you for a while. Where have you been?

Fav: I am always here, but you do not show up for a while.

Fav: my friend said she saw your photo in the office for "shooting" the girl. (I think she mean "beat" since we use smartphone app for chatting).

I told her the truth that I was set up by the HK staff and the puta. However, I am very angry with it. Actually, I am the victim and I even did not realize / know they take my photo.

1). For the first case, I was not happy when they knocked the door much earlier even I tipped them. However, when I complained to them, the HK staff just used the excuses " the manager is not here". I was directed to go between Hotel Cascalas and HK club several times. I was mad with their manner. The hotel staff called in the club captain. They just asked me " what do you want (to drink)? " What? I have a salary that I am happy with by USA Standards. Am I that cheap to waste my time just for the crappy cheap drinks worth 10-20 pesos? They asked me to come back later since the manager was not "present". When I came back two days later, I talked to the other hotel staff and also gave him the club captain's note. He was also surprised since he said: the hotel manager was present that day, I do not know why they called in the club captain.

See, this is how HK club and hotel run. The staff just fooled / cheated the customers and told all kinds of lies).

Later (about 7 PM), I met the so-called "hotel manager"this fat strong punk (the security be I noted in my earlier post since he is always dressed in the clothes with "security" he is fluent in English and told me in a cold manner"we've already done what we can do to help you the other day. There is nothing we can do". I'm very dissatisfied with his manner and told him that "I would go all the way to complain it". He replied me " go ahead". Finally, I got hold of the manager. The manager spoke to me softly and also called in this fat punk to handle it. Obviously, I can see the fat punk was unhappy / mad.

    2).

For the 2nd case, I was mad since the puta took my money up front but refused the services we agreed upon. I was even mad since the fat punk (security B) would not listen to me and just said "I know you, you are always complaining" and interrupted me many time. The fat punk colluded the puta and set me up by claiming that I beat the puta.

They robbed my money but I could not complain. They beat me in the corner and set me up by accusing me of beating the puta. Is this Hong Kong style? Smart ass, what logical reasoning do they have?

Why didn't I beat the girl while I was alone there if I had planned to do so? Am I stupid to beat the girl in front of another person, in particular, this fat punk is much stronger than me and prejudiced? As a good citizen of USA, I never use violence to resolve the issue. From the 1st case you can see, no matter how angry I feel, I still try to talk to the HK admin. That is my style. Why would I suddenly change my style? Why would I be so stupid to "beat" the puta in front of this hostile punk? That does not make any sense at all!.

I sent my complaint to HK, BT and Orzo de Oro and got the reply they would investigate it. Would they do so? I highly doubt it.

I believe they must know it, but they just do not care about it! They only care how to get money out of the customers' pockets!

    3) I have a perfect driving record over a dozen of years. I do not have any accidents and tickets (even including parking ticket) since I am very careful and abide by the rules. I also have a very good credit score and can be ranked in the top 20%. All in all, how can a great citizen of USA Suddenly turn into a rascal in Mexico? Not to mention we all know there are all crimes & violence there and everybody is very cautious!

From the very beginning, they can handle it much smoothly and easily. I am not interested in their crappy cheap compensation but a sincere apology / manner! They just used all kinds of excuses: the manager is not here; I can not handle it; and blah blah blah. Even now, I have no idea whether this fat punk is the manager or not. But I did see him several times patrolling inside the club with the uniform "security". (But he never guards the entrance). However, I read the earlier post that the hotel manager is an old man who does not speak English. That attests it that HK just use all kinds of excuses and lies to fool the customers.

It is my understanding that how HK club handles it:

For the first time, they would tolerate it (even if you are right, but you are making trouble for them).

For the second time, they would fuck the shit out of you regardless.

Rip-off, thy name is Hong Kong gentlemen club Tijuana!

By chance, I also see the puta is still there. Obviously, they (the puta and fact punk) do not get any punishment. In the past, I used to spend a lot of money every month in HK. However, they treat me just like a shit without the least respect. Now, I just cut down my spending significantly.

I did not disclose the girl's info last time since I still want to keep her privacy. But now, I just feel it is stupid of me to do so.

The puta is from Cancun, her name is "Fantasy" (or similar pronunciation).

Terrible experience at Hong Kong club, Tijuana, BC, Mexico.

For the past 4 months, I went to Tijuana and visited HK club for over 20+ times. Generally, I like this bar. That is the reason I frequent it. However, it changes my mind for my recent experience.

My biggest concern and complain is "bait and switch". Generally, I would negotiate very clearly with the girl beforehand. However, some would not honor what is agreed once in the room. One girl once even told me the I should end earlier since she needs 15 minutes for shower during the session. What? I am not paying to see your shower! I did not complain for sympathy since I later learn she has a 1 year old baby to support.

I first complained it last Nov (or Dec). When I was in the room with a girl. They knocked the door and said: time's up. It is just about 10 min (since I saw my watch). The girl would not continue. I yelled back to the staff outside. But again, just barely 5 min, they bothered me again. Now, the girl left. I was mad with it and complained to the front desk. However, they denied SB. Did so and even told me the manager was not present. It is better for me to come back later. I was not satisfied with their manner. Finally, they called in a captain in charge. The captain said I might make mistake: possibly the staff was knocking the other door and I mistake it as mine. Although, the hotel and the club belong to the same group, they are managed by separate administration. Dissatisfied with it, I came back 2 days later and finally saw the manager (A). The manager seems nice. He called in another guy (B) and finally offers me one night stay for free. Although, the manager gave me a voucher (free stay), I did not use it even now. Actually, I am not asking for compensation, it is just their manner that matters!

Between last Dec and mid Feb, I went to HK several times and everything seemed fine.

In late Feb, I went to HK again and went to the hotel with one girl. We negotiated everything beforehand. But the trick happened again. In the room, she would not allow kiss just a few minutes later. Actually, she approached me several times when I was there before, asking for $120-100. I just shrugged off it. This time, she approached me again and promised that she would offer me the best time for (1400 peso + $5). I also specifically told her "beso con lengua (french kiss). She told me that I can do anything upstairs. Thus I agreed. I was not happy since she refused to honor what was agreed. I left $5 on the table (1400 peso already paid once in the room), saying I would complain it. She stopped me and yelled outside. In a while, the guy (B) in the uniform with"security" showed up. He would not listen to me and just claimed that I was a trouble-maker since it was the 2nd time I complained. What? I've visited here for over 20+ times in barely 5 months, that is barely 10% complaint rate. He dragged me in the room and talked with the girl in Spanish. I totally had no idea what they were talking. Suddenly, the girl charged forward to hit me on the chest. I pushed her away, asking her to calm down. Then, the security (B) suddenly acted in mad, saying that I was beating the girl. I asked him if he saw the girl hit me and I just defended myself. He said he only saw I was "beating" the girl. Then, he dragged me outside, pushing hard my arms upward and forcing me against the corner. He even threatened to throw me in jail. In the mean time, the girl robbed me another $5, since she claimed that I did not pay her the remaining balance. (I've already paid 1400 pesos, why would default a small $5? She tipped the guy (B), kicked me and left. Of course, the guy (B) ignored all this. It was not until another staff showed up that be finally behaved normally. He called in many other persons and talked in Spanish and did not even give me an opportunity to explain the situation.

It was a terrible experience. The security (B) colluded with the girl and beat me in the corner and the room (no camera). He even slandered that I would not pay and just ask for compensation. That is ridiculous! I earn a decent income. I spend money for fun, not for torture.

I complained it to HK admin. It is because I still trust they, as a reputable company, know how to conduct business in a honest manner. It is a shame they treated (insulted & threatened) me this way.

" But they still make tons of money because apparently guys will pay anything for pussy. And I mean anything. There is no girl in Tijuana worth $100+ for 30 minutes, yet gringos line up. Rude waiters who have a propensity to short-change customers, who often try to clear off half-consumed ficha drinks and who continually push drinks? No problem, if pussy is involved. But I digress..

You are right on! HK owner is saying your $ is worth only 16 Pesos, when at a cambio right outside of HK, the $ is worth about 18 pesos. He's screwing the Americanos.

You should sell pesos to HK for dollars. Bring $1 million to a cambio and get 18 million pesos. Bring 18 million pesos to HK and make them exchange it to dollar at 16 per $, you will get $1.125 million or a cool profit of $125 K.

ATMs generally tack on a fee, but IMO they give the best rates. If you make a large enough withdrawal, the fee is negligible.

And rumor has it that Schwab reimburses the fee. For a regular, that alone might justify opening an account with them.

I've been to Hong Kong before but after reading some of your guys' tips, it seems like I have been doing some wrong!

I've always paid in dollars rather than pesos, and I plan on doing so now in pesos to save a ton of money.

Where's the best place to exchange your dollars? I've read the ATM next to Adelitas, but hows the exchange at Hong Kong for the 16 x 1?

Now given that, what are the going rates in pesos? Generally, I've been quoted like $90-100 for the top-tiers. But have a feeling I'd be able to save a good amount by negotiating in pesos.

Planning on going tonight, any other tips would be great.

    Thanks in advance.
In the short-term, I would recommend that you exchange your dollars into pesos at a cambio near the border, on the USA Side.

Later on, you can open a Schwab One account (a combination stock brokerage account and checking account) with a minimum $1,000 initial deposit. They will offer you a debit card when you open the account at a Charles Schwab office. A few days ago the official exchange rate in world currency markets had one USA Dollar exchanging for 18.6 Mexican pesos. The Charles Schwab ATM card users at Tijuana ATM machines basically got that rate. ATM card holders might get the same rate, but fees can vary a lot depending on which Tijuana ATM was used and which United States bank issued the ATM card.

I wasn't in Tijuana this week, but with a currency market rate of 18.6, I would expect the cambios in LZ would have carried a rate of around 17.2, the better onesa few blocks outside LZ might be up one tenth (to 17.3) and cambios near the border, on the US side, might be up another tenth (to 17.4). Those minor. 1 or. 2 differences are what I usually find on typical days.

You might have misunderstood about Hong Kong Bar's 16 X1 rate. They don't typically perform currency exchanges in HK (other than lining their pockets by draining your pockets of currency). This 16 X1 HK & Cascades rate converts their product prices into either currency. For example, a beer in HK most of the time costs $5 or 80 pesos. So if you exchange your dollars for a rate higher than 16 pesos (like getting 17.2 at a cambio) it benefits you to spend pesos, rather than dollars, when you buy drinks in HK.

When you are making offers to chicas in HK, remember that for many of them, getting a mil for a roll in the hay is a pretty nice deal. Some might want more, but it will be difficult for most of them to turn down a mil.

    Advice

    Hey man,

I'm here in Tijuana right now. Got all my pesos at the border stateside, so can't speak to ATM use.

I've used pesos for everything thus far and feel I have gotten great deals on everything from hotel stay, food, and the ladies for sure.

    Memorize:

    60 US = 1100 pesos.

    80 US = 1500 pesos.

    100 US = 1850 pesos.

I'm literally just copying the advice from the more senior mangers here. Granted it helps that I speak Spanish well and am pretty confident, but take the initiative and talk to a girl you like / buy her a drink / etc. Don't settle for a girl you not really into just cause she approached you first or is pressuring you in any way. Feel comfortable saying no.

I always start around 1100 pesos and thus far on my several hookups, have paid 1200 and 1300 pesos for really good looking blondes at peak times. Had a threesome yesterday evening for about an hour with two different ladies for 5000 pesos total.

As with any bargaining, if the price is getting too high and / or you aren't feeling it, you have to have the discipline to walk away. Often when you try, you may get a much more desirable rate.

All this being said, keep the negotiations in perspective. Sometimes you are haggling like 5 or 10 US bucks. Does it really matter for this person you really want to see? Prolly not.

Also, if you have your own room, set up a nice incall, cause that is what you are doing as a man working girl haha. Get an ice cooler at oxxo, fill it with ice and get a variety of drinks (etch and non-etoh), maybe some chocolates, and I set up ambiance music on my iPad. The ladies love it and often (not always) stay longer.

I had such great chemistry with one that I'm meeting her for dinner in half an hour.

    All thanks to why'all. Thanks!

Would I expect to pay the normal $80 rate x 2 (the hour) x 2 (two chicks)? I know it's a Friday so rates are higher though I'll try to do this before 7 pm /8 pm. I always use pesos when bargaining. Would a low ball value of 3000 pesos be too insulting for what I want? Max I'd spend prolly around 4800-5200 pesos.

Don't know if there any expected "threesome rates" or anything. I think there is a cost to take the extra lady to my hotel room, not sure.

    Thanks!
The "normal" rate of 80 for 1 chica, is based on a 30 minute session. You want 2 chicas for an hour.
