So, fair enough; kind of a hole in that long advice post. I never, ever need to keep $5 bills handy. I only keep $1 bills handy which I get before my trip and carry in a secure pocket. I probably have about 50 $1 bills, just in case. Thankfully my grocery store doesn't blink when I ask to exchange a $20 bill for all ones.

I only keep $1 bills on the ready for tips to a waiter, the robe guy, and for girls to feel them up. No need to ever dispense $5 bills for any of that.

Well, having now done a full three nights of arriba at the Hong Kong, I think I'm in a position to address some claims and dispel some rumors.

1. "Some girls won't want to go across the street to the Rizo because it's too cold. " FALSE. Every one of my chicas were perfectly happy to go with me to my room there. Upon leaving they give the chica a robe so that she can cover up (more or less).

2. "All the girls are in it for the money. " TRUE. No matter how friendly they are before, during, and after, they will not form any attachment to you. And don't expect any of them to actually keep an appointment.

3. "The place is full of drug dealers. " FALSE. I was there at peak times three nights in a row and was not solicited once. (If they are there, they're being discreet.).

4. "Best to stay at the Cascadas or Rizo de Oro. " TRUE. I was told that I likely could not get any non-HK or non-BT girl into the hotel. I don't know if that was true or not, but it didn't matter since the girls I liked best were all at the HK anyway.

5. "If you take a chica overnight, the meseros will knock on your door every hour to get you to buy a bucket of beer. " FALSE, if you pay the bar fine. I did so for an overnight and we were left alone.

Some guys are in Hong Kong twice a week month after month, I think they have better knowledge on what's going on around them then a 1st timer, who apperently walked around tipping 500% higher than the norm, and had a pleasant experience. True, but there is also a large segment of new generation girls that have a very different perspective of being an HK girl. Social media has glamorized this type of of to girl across Mexico. The stigma of being a sex worker has been reduced and almost removed. These girls prefer the easy money from HK instead of taking the "typical" route of university or a normal low paying job.

Agree with your entire post. Did just want to point out that a couple of the girls I mess with at HK actually have college degrees, with one of them currently working on a second degree in business (she happens to also speak and write in English extremely well which shocked me when I started texting with her). This is a solid, informative post thanks. Some feedback on some of your points:

#1: One side point I'll make here is some girls actually don't know that they can go arriba across the street. One of the girls I was with last month at Tropical, for example, didn't know she was allowed to go across the street to my room at Cascadas. She had to confirm it with the front door guy before we crossed the street. Maybe because she was somewhat new, I don't know.

#2: I've personally never had a chica no-show on me. But this probably had nothing to do with whether or not they "liked" me or wanted to develop a good relationship with me. It's just that the girls I've dealt with are generally good workers. Good workers in any profession generally keep all their appointments and show up on time. At least if they want the $$$ they better show up. So at least from my experience, I think you can mostly expect girls to keep their appointments. If they don't no problem, just move on to the next chick.

#4: I've never had a problem getting a non-HK or non-BT girl into Cascadas, I don't know where that's coming from. In recent years I've only stayed at Cascadas and there are a couple of regulars I have from Adelitas that come up to my room at Cascadas all the time. Went inside HK to see what girls were on duty and didn't see too many girls to my liking and they had half the Chavelas side blocked off. No cover charge but it was only 6/7 pm.
