I find that the HK Wednesday specials is kind of a waste of time. I talked to a buddy that works for HK and he said that it is meant to cure the shitty Wednesday low business problem more than anything. So bikini contests, fashion shows, beauty, Halloween parties, etc are always thrown on a Wednesday to encourage the girls to come to work on a shitty day.

About the Armenian dude, I wonder how he feels if we mongers start to hang out his area and eat his food and drink his booze. Seriously I am thinking of just eating some food off of his table and flirt with the chicas in his booth.

I was there on Wednesday at HK and I saw his bloated fat Jabba the hut ass blocking my view to the main stage. He is damn ugly, flaunts his stack of money, and annoying as he sits almost center stage for all to see his stupidity. Maybe one day he will keel over from a heart attack being such a fat ass LOL. The event had broad appeals to all kinds pf people, especially local Mexicans. I would say 2/3 of the clients were local Mexicans with friends, some with GF's wives. The rest was a mix of Gringos, Asians, Blacks. Over a hundred girls came to watch the event, a few new, sweetest-looking young girls whom I wanted to get to know, but they were all perching over the balcony, focusing on the show, not doing any business. Most people were just having fun like a big festivity.

Funny a Mexican guy was sitting at a table, his chunky wife was doing a serious lap dance on him. He was excited, breathing heavily, telling me his wife was good. I sat at a table with a couple older Mexican guys with a bucket of beers. They invited me to their beers. We were kidding around, having fun.

A bro bought a $500 Don Julio 70 bottle and got a table for us, but half a dozen girls took over to watch the show. He was drinking only beers, bot the Tequila. The mesero was drinking shots from the bottle. He probably swiped the bottle after the bro took off with his girl to the hotel.

About 100 girls from all over Mexico, some sweetest-looking young girls, went to HK to watch this stupid show, while guys were mostly partying among themselves. Soon HK will be having Miss Mexico Beauty Pageant Contest. If HK could sell all 80 tables for min $500 each, you can see more events with higher prices coming soon. Looks like the demands and money are there for these high-price events. Soon HK will be charging Vegas prices. HK is transforming in to a high-priced erotic entertainment venue more than a puta bar. Average mongers will be left out of the fun at HK.

Tropical will have its Chicas of the Year Party on June 23. May be a good time to bag a few hot, FOB cuties from the interior.

Got in HK about 7 PM Wed night. The club was already packed. All tables on the 1st and 2nd floor were on reserve with a $500 price tag. HK really rachets up prices for its events, but by 10 PM all tables were taken, many with multiple bottles for groups of guys.

HK was packed with girls, many old timers but also many hot new cutest ones I have not seen. If you want to meet some of the most beautiful girls in Mexico, this event seemed to have them. Most were crowding on tables and perching over the balcony, focusing on the show on the main stage. Very few were doing any drinking, talking or going arribas with guys. A big-spending bro got a table on the balcony with a $500 Don Julio 1942 bottle for his friends, but he was drinking only beers, nice, generous guy. The mesero was taking shots from the bottle and poaching the snacks. He brought over a nice, young, very beautiful girl, tall, slim, pretty face, perfect body, no blemishes, no tats. I never saw her in HK before, but she was easily one of the most beautiful and classy girls anywhere. 6 girls invited themselves in, crowded in that table, perching over the balcony rail, looking down on the stage. There was no room to sit or to watch the show. I was worried the balcony was about to collapse under the weight of all those big guys and fat girls.

I've wondered who the target customer is for these events, especially since they seem to have a version of it every month. At first I was given the impression that it was a means to draw new customers, but based on your report, it seems to be the complete opposite.

It's in the middle of the week event with a high buy-in cost for a table. Looks like it's an event for legacy clients or guys with cash to burn, like everyone's favorite Armenian. And the chicks aren't there for what the place is suppposed to be: a bordello.

Good report and good to know, these events are not for mongerers but as means for HK to make easy cash.

I saw no beauties among the contestants. At one point HK had a guy in fancy costume dancing on stage, trying to be cute. He looked stupid and ugly. The show was boring, low brow, distasteful and a waste of time for me. Did find many new girls so beautiful, but they were all focusing on the show, not interested in companies of guys. HK sold all their $500 tables, but I was not interested in paying that much money to cramp into the club to watch old, fat women parading on stage, I prefer normal nights when I can hang out, relax, drink with friends, make out with girls, take them to bed. Just hope HK won't make $500 min tables every night any time soon in the future. Fat Armenian got the best table at the head of the stage with multiple buckets and lots of snack plates spread out, stepping on hundreds green $ as usual, talking to half a dozen girls like a rock star. The low-brow show off theatrics are in poor taste and ridiculous. The average mongers are severely fucked by guys like Fat Armenian who spend way above the norms just to show off. Uber can take you to the border, but they won't cross the border. But once you cross, you can get another one from the border to the zona.

The simplest, cheapest way to park is to use one of the free trolley station lots, and then take the trolley. The trolley line ends right at the ped-east crossing. The parking is free, but there is a rarely-enforced 24-hour limit. The trolley costs around $3 each way, per person (senior citizens pay less).

Palm or Palomar are about ten minutes from the border, and seem a bit less sketchy than some of the ones closer to the border..

1st time visitors like this eventually have 2 options. Park in the street at ocean beach, take a the bus or uber to trolley and go to Mexico. If you left nothing visible in the car and put nothing in trunk when you parked, you have a 99% chance to return to a car the way you left it. Beyond that, parking at old Town trolley is an option but since the rv dwellers were kicked out. There's nobody's be watching your car. All night long are sketch heads walking past your car cursing at invisible people. Also when I slept here at times will be the cops of some sort even at 2, 3 5 am. So in this parking lot, a punched put window is your most likely price to pay. This would be from mental head who needs to punch something not theft related. In this lot, and all trolleyb stations will be people who park with the " Club". Even for cars from 1990. Reason is if you steal a car and drive it into Mexico nobody will stop you. Personally I have insurance to cover theft and windows and catalytic converters issues. The other trolley stations, are 8th street, which is just a bit past downtown San Diego. It is away from any residences so less likely to get the teenage criminals. Same with Palomar. Palomar is closer to Tijuana so if your feeling hungover Palomar is better get off trolley ASAP. I've parked across street from outlets at the border 1 block from the school, maybe twice but that's a very bad idea and I don't try it anymore. If you are very new to the scene and going for the 1st time, and not needing a hotel, you can park a t the outlets, keep walking into a few stores, change your javket or shirt, keep walking through outlets and into Mexico. And be back by 830 9 pm. This is how I did my 1st trip. My 1st trip to Mexico I knew what to do based on news reports for 4 years on a missing san Diego family that case was eventually solved. That was before I had ever been to California.

Planning on going to Tijuana HK next week (likely the 25-26).

And was wondering if you guys have any suggest regarding getting into Tijuana.

Planning on going with some friends either on an Uber or car but would appreciate some help. Wondering where is the best place to park in the US side or if we should just cross over with the car. Is it safe to park in HK parking lot etc planning to at least sleep over the night. Would appreciate any info regarding this. Or if anyone is willing to drive us to Tijuana and back on the next day, we can pay for gas. (Will be a group of 3 and speak Spanish).

If you've never been to Tijuana I wouldn't drive across especially for 1 night. You don't want to be in the border line for 2 to maybe 4 hours. Just park and walk across and take a taxi to the Zona. They have a website that will drive you across but it's not worth it. Also I wouldn't trust some random stranger on here. Even with 3 of you it would be very easy to rob you and leave you in Tijuana.

Driving Across:

You should get Mexican car insurance. Your American insurance is worthless, and getting caught without insurance can have dire consequences.

And you should park in one of several pay lots within a block of the zona. I use Libra, which is on Constitucion across from the alley. I've parked my shiny new Subaru there many times with no problems.
