Cuba Libre is 1 part rum, 3 parts coke in ice with some lime juice. Rum is made from sugar cane, very simple glucose that gets into your blood stream very fast and gets you drunk quickly. Adelita probably used the cheapest rum to mix which may have bad chemical residues, give you hang over. I had various rum-based cocktails in HK, no problem.

Some liquors have narcotics to get you addicted. Coca Cola used to have cocaine in its formula. Don't know when they got rid of it. Mexicans are addicted to Coca Cola, average 2 L per person per day, the highest consumption in the world. Mexicans get seriously overweight with their high-starch diet and sweet Coke they drink.

Mexican Coke tastes so much better than the corn syrup based coke we have here in the states.

Often I will order a water instead of a beer as I try to keep my "whits" about me and I am a lightweight drinker so it doesn't take to much. When I am talking with a girl almost always they will ask why I am drinking water. I give them some type of broken Spanglish about too much beer and it makes me loco. They almost always understand and acknowledge that they understand. They probably have seen way to many guys drink way to much etc.

Beware the mixed drinks. Four years ago a friend and I ordered CubaLibres in Adelitas and within minutes I knew we were slipped something. Immediately stumbled out to a cab and got to border. Barely made it across then sat down for over an hour trying to stay conscious. My friend who is much smaller than me went out. Scary AF. I now only stick to beers and if I'm ordering a shot I do it at the bar where I can see it poured.

I don't know my liquor at all. I could probably drink any tequila and barely notice a difference. But due to solo constant tequila critique, I began using my free drink on tequila. After trying to get the 40 dollar tequila, LOL, they let me use it on the 10 dollar shot. Which I guess is Julio 70. I've gotten free soda with it when I ask. For guys who don't drink a lot they should really stick to the tecate light. The other liquor can make you do and say things you wouldn't do with 10 tecate lights. Fortunately I'm not a angry drunk but it still leaves me more vulnerable for walking on streets at 1 am I shouldn't and talking to people I would normally be running past.

The guys I know are professionals and business guys. They don't look like drugs dealers. A few guys are way too young, never traveled outside the US, never had passports. It may be inheritance money they are spending.

A couple guys, who bought expensive bottles and lots of fichas for girls, looked like they may be in some sorts of illicit businesses.

These big spenders are from Orange and LA counties.

They were dropping some serious money partying in Las Vegas without touching or screwing not-so-hot strippers. Now they found out they can have a lot more sexy funs with hot girls in Tijuana, costing less time, money and bullshit. So they are bringing their business to Tijuana. Don't think they will run out of money any time soon.

Can't beat partying with friends, go for dinner, a little gambling, partying with hot girls, take a few to the hotel every few hours, all for a lot less than Las Vegas. Some guys had as much drinking, playing and screwing girls in one night in Tijuana as a whole month in the US. A few noobs quickly found bar GFs, had GFE TLNs, took them on vacations and other funs. Majority of the time I've been down and seen people rain money were when a guy was with their girlfriend / wife. I guess it was disposable income they would have used for a night out, but since the girlfriend / wife is with them, then they make a show of it. It could possibly be an explanation to their GF / wife of what HK is all about. They might not know the ladies walking hand in hand with a monger into Chavelas and out by the hotel are working ladies. It is entertaining as the ladies usually do the tipping and have fun smacking asses and getting face full of titties. I did notice on most of my visits more American ladies hanging out and having fun drinking and watching the dancers. Not sure if it is for the guys birthday, but thought it was kind of cool they participated or allowed them visit such establishments.

Has anyone heard of guys giving ladies $200-$300 just to hang out? I haven't seen or heard of it, but some have explained some guys do this for companionship. Like others have said, different strokes for different folks. Hope you guys are having fun as I have been hooked up with an ex HK girl and she treats me like a king. They should hurry up and make it rain a lot, run out of money and hitch hike back to Vegas. Then us California can go back and them. Cheap deals. Again.

Before CoVid HK meseros would push a gurney around the club, blowing their whistles, with a hot girl butt naked laying face down, smiling sweetly. They laid out Azul's small bites of snacks and goodies all over her body. Guys would pick the bites off her butt with their mouths, licking and kissing her skin. Man, HK really knows how to have sexy fun.

One night Azul's went fancy with bites of cheese and bacon on top of crackers.
