Does anyone know how CBP knows / measures the wait times for pedestrian entrance?

Almost all the waiting is done in Mexico before you see any CBP staff.

I doubt they ask people.

Let's hope it was not a girl or 2 girls. It will cause a intense crack down. Even if this doesn't make the news, we will know if it was a guy or girl based on if HK starts going into prison style pat downs. It is a dangerous job for these girls. Used this website, but did not trust it based on the folks here saying it'll take a few hours to get across. Going forward, I will just monitor this website and plan accordingly.

If you have global entry then there is no line.

Assuming you don't have global entry. If you are cheap like me and don't want to waste $$ on a hotel at san Ysidro for a few hours:

Stay in club till 4 am.

Cross border and take first trolley to downtown.

Enjoy a nice breakfast at Gaslamp or at one of big hotels next to convention center.

You can easily kill time at the lobby of Hilton, Marriott's or Hyatt.

Enjoy a slow walk from Seaport village to Maritime museum. Stop at many places.

Enjoy snacks at carnitas shack carnitassnackshack.com.

Take bus 992 to airport.

My credit card reimburses me for global entry, just been procrastinating as it requires an interview. The border wait time wasn't an issue at all. I also stay at cascadas on Mondays and Tuesdays as it's 70% off with the VIP card. Plenty of chicas to choose from, so don't really care for the weekends.

We flew into San Diego airport and took an uber to the border and walked across. Border agent took us to the office and told us we need the FMM card for entry and it's $35. I told him I read that it's not needed if it's less than a 7 day visit, but he said during Covid the rules don't apply. On the website it says $30, so he scammed us for an extra $5 but did not want to get into an argument with him as we just wanted to go to HK to have a good time. Took a $5 taxi ride from the Tijuana border to HK and got ourselves a master suite for $40/ night, it's way better than the standard room.

I sessioned with a girl new to the club, $100 for an hour. Amazing service.

The club gets packed after 10 PM on both nights, no booths / seats available. The rib eye steak at Azul was pretty good and well worth the $15.

These charts really don't mean anything. For people who cross regular, its noften off an hour or 2. Sometimes it can say 3 hours and its only 25 minute line. The graph also shows the time based on how long the line is. So the factor in, its a real line. It is not any kind of line. By the time you get through the line probably a 150 people cut in front of you besides sentri. There can be no line one minute, and 3 hour line in 25 minutes. Its really dependent on if they want people to wait in line or not.

So my girl got a group text saying 2 chicas were killed last night. No other specifics. Hopefully this is a sign for her, but who knows? Be safe guys!

Yeah, I saw police and ambulance at around 10 AM Tuesday. Heard someone died, thought it was a customer who probably OD'd, didn't know it was a homicide.

I crossed the pedestrian border today at 10 AM, only took 20 minutes. I could have squeezed one in the morning, but was afraid it would've taken 3 hours to cross. I had to kill 2 hours at the airport.

I was in HK Saturday night with 2 noobs, pretty young guys in mid 20's. The club was busy with over 100 girls, may be 200 guys. All tables and booths were taken. While waiting for the other bro to show, noobs each got 2 mixed drinks for $5, 2 Jack Daniels with Coke and 2 pina colodas, I had 2 beers.

We were cruising around the club checking on sweet pretty young girls, some were fairly shy. Noobs could not believe their eyes with over hundred beautiful young girls swirling around, taling, flirting, touching, groping, hugging, propositioning.

The bro showed up, texted me a pic of the table he managed to snag on the balcony by buying a $400 Maccallan 15 bottle. The bro is always nice and generous to his friends, normally likes to sit at the corner booth over the stage and the curve staircase where he can view the strip show and the whole club, raining propinas on them, but tonight he made a sacrifice for the noobs. Glad to have him on board. We had a table to sit, drink with the girls and watch MMA fights on the huge monitor, had a good time. Noobs pulled a couple very sweet-looking girls for crotch grinding. They were still shy, I had to suggest them to grope and kiss the girls to test compatibility. The bro was feeding his girl Mccallan mixed with soda. She was drinking one after another nonstop. Man, these young girls can really drink. I tried one shot. It tasted stronger and more bitter than Martell Cordon Blue, gave me a quick buzz.

We had a fun night, had to leave by midnight. One noob stayed and partied until 5, took a 2-hour Uber ride home and immediately drove to the golf course to play with his family. He's a hard partier. Lots of bar girls know him. Have to thank the bro for treating us to a nice booth to sit and play with the chicas.

Monday night was packed that it was difficult moving around the crowd of people. The master suite is nice and well worth $40/ night with VIP card. Idiots still making it rain with dollar bills.

Checked out Adelitas and tropical, both were practically empty with maybe 20 girls and 10 bored customers. HK has zero competition from the other clubs. The chicas at Adelitas and tropical were fat or ugly, walked in with my friend and immediately walked out after taking a stroll.

Last time my wingman walked across at 6 AM Wednesday it took him 2 hours.

Anytime after 5 AM on weekdays may be unpredictable. You may be looking at 2 to 3 hours wait to cross without Global Entry or SENTRI.

You will need half hour to check out of the hotel and Taxi to the border, 2 hours to cross, 1 hour on a UBER to get to SAN airport, then about 2 hours to clear airport security, total 5.5 hours. Check out the hotel at 7:30 AM may be doable.
