I was at HK club the past couple of weekends. There was several songs that they kept playing over and over again. The only song that I knew the name of was "Despacito". I was wondering if you guys knew the name of the other songs? One had a woman singing that I really liked.

First time in Tijuana so I decided to stay there the past couple of weekends. Decided to try out the escort and bar girl scene. Saw 6 escorts, 2 were great, 2 were average, and 2 were terrible. The problem with the escort or agency were that they were so unreliable, some cancelled last minute or wasn't available even after I set the appointment a day or two in advanced. Some of the girls, the online pictures make them look way better than they looked in person. HK is usually busy Friday and Saturday night, but I never saw ratio of 5 to 7 guys to 1 girls, more like 2 or 3 at most.

You are lucky to find a couple 10's the first time you are in HK. Not every time but occasionally I would find one or two sweetest-looking girls who would melt my heart. They are usually new girls, fresh from Sinaloa or Sonora, trying out HK. Some only last a few weeks and decide to go home, never to come back.

Not new to the Tijuana scene, but first time at HK or Calle Coahuila. Lots of learnings!

I took a short taxi ride to HK. Visited Saturday night, 10:30 PM. It was packed, shoulder to shoulder. I would estimate the men outnumbered the women 5 or 7 to 1. I had the initial shock of. Wow! It's an incredible vibe. But it was frustrating. Nowhere to sit. I actually had a tough time buying a chica a ficha.

It's a bad move bringing a car and Mexico trust me. The best thing to do is find the parking lot in the area and cross over on foot and then does take cabs or Uber everywhere there's no reason to put your car risk especially if it's new or expensive. At the same time the cops can hassle you because they know you're not from their you're just putting unwanted attention on yourself.

I routinely drive one of three cars to Tijuana regularly, and have been for several years. Nobody has ever messed with one. At night I park in guarded lots in hotels, and I try to never drive on Coahuila at night. Other than that, I go everywhere and park anywhere. The are definitely not new cars, but they look more expensive than they actually are.

Outside of the Zona, driving a car doesn't bring much unwanted attention, unless you're driving some ultra-high zoot vehicle. Brand new bright yellow Corvette, a Lambo, that sort of thing. Of course, they may figure you for a narco and leave you alone. LOL CA plates probably do make the cops watch a bit closer IF they are already looking for a mark. If you're not riding dirty you really don't have much to worry about. You just have to be prepared to call the cops' bluff, or get rid of him with a few pesos, NOT dollars.

I drive in because I have to, but I've been parking on Coahuila, afternoons and evenings, for years. The only time I had a problem was when I left the window open. *.

Of course, that was driving a not-so-new Subaru SUV. I haven't tried parking there at night since I bought my new Subaru. Next time, I'll probably park in an attended lot. Motel Lopez, five or six blocks west of HK, has a nicely enclosed lot for guests.

Per statistics, about 38,000 cars cross the border and drive into Tijuana everyday, most bearing California plates. Besides the taxis and vans, most cars and SUVs I see in Tijuana are California cars. So you will blend right in and not stick out like a sore thumb.

Policia does stop a few cars for traffic violations, may be 1 out of 1,000. But if you did not violate traffic laws, don't give them money out of fears and insist on seeing the judge to prove your innocence. There is not much policia can do to you. They don't want to see the judge and be accused of harassing and abusing tourists. After 5, 10 minutes they would have to let you go after realizing they cannot extract bribes from you.

Driving over in cars with SENTRI or GLOBAL ENTRY cards is safe, quick, easy, convenient, cheap, way smarter than hoofing and waiting for taxis, risking robberies, choke hold rateros or getting run over in traffic. You also want to smell nice and fresh like a gentleman when taking the pretty chicas into bed for the perfect sexual experiences, not sweaty and malodorous like the low lifes after long walks.

HK's VIP card does give you lots of goodies, like free parking, free drinks, 80% discount for hotel rooms on Monday and Tuesday, well worth the cost. Driving over is quick and effortless. No walking, waiting and paying for visa or waiting for taxi. The distance from the border to LA Zona Norte is only about 5 miles. Don't you use a GPS device? This is the address:

Pepes parking Avenida Niños Heroes 306, Centro, 22000 Tijuana, be. See. , Mexico.

Be careful that street signs in Tijuana may be missing or difficult to read. You can get lost with just verbal directions. You should have the GPS on to aid. From the US:

1. Go South on I 5, follow the lines of cars, cross the border into Mexico through GARITA EL CHAPARRAL check point.

2. After garita el Chaparral, stay on the left lane, go up the bridge over tijuana river to merge into the old main road into tijuana, dist caracol del zona rio.

3. CARACOL will split 3 ways. Stay in the MIDDLE lane, follow the sign to EL CENTRO, downtown Tijuana. It will take you into a long round turn over the Tijuana river onto CALLE 3.

4. Turn RIGHT on NEGRETE, stay on the LEFT LANE go past the Mercado de Artesenia on your right.

5. Turn left onto the world-famous calle Coahuila.

6. Turn right on Niños Heroes. Pepe's parking is 500 feet ahead on your right.

To return to the SENTRI lane, I will give you a slightly longer route, but less confusing, via BLVD Padre Kino. This is the address for THE SENTRI LANE you should program your GPS:

22010, Blvd. Padre Kino, Zona Urbana Rio Tijuana, 22010 Tijuana, be. See. , Mexico.

From Pepe's parking:

1. Turn LEFT onto NINOS HEROES, go South.

2. Turn RIGHT on CALLE 1 (The sign may say Calle Premier!

3. Hang LEFT, turn LEFT on F MARTINEZ.

4. Hang LEFT, turn LEFT on BENITO JUAREZ.

5. Hang RIGHT and merge into VIA RAPIDA.

6. Hang RIGHT and merge into PASEO de LOS HEROES go SOUTH.

7. At the first rotary, turn LEFT onto INDEPENDENCIA to go EAST over a bridge.

8. At the SECOND ROTARY turn LEFT onto BLVD PADRE KINO which has 2 lanes heading NORTH leading into SENTRI lanes.

Turn on your GPS. If it can reprogram routes fast enough, it will help you along the way with street names ect.

I just drove back to the US border with a newbie last night Saturday at midnight. The regular and ready car lanes were backed up to over the river, may be 3 to 4 hours wait. But there were virtually no cars on the 3 SENTRI lanes. I dropped the bro off near the turnstile gate on PED EAST to walk through, and drove right across to the JIB within 3 minutes. It took him 10 minutes due to CPB shift change at midnight, normally only 5 minutes.

The waiting lines for regular and READY car lanes are very long on weekend even at midnight. Don't even think of driving over unless you and your car have SENTRI or GLOBAL ENTRY.

I'm planning a trip to the promise land on Mon and Tues to take full advantage of the VIP card. To save some dineros, I'm going to take my car across the border this time. I have a few questions, hopefully someone here can help out.

Of course, state farm doesn't cover beyond the us so where do I buy insurance while in Mexico?

It's complicated and too hard for me to explain.

I was used to going one way that used a 270-degree left turn ramp near Costco that placed you on 3rd street heading west into Centro.

But for my most recent visit twelve days ago, my wingman showed me a new route to LZ that seemed shorter, going over the new bridge that spans the Tijuana river which placed us near purple rain, only a block away from HDS and the new bus station. That route was short, but tricky.
