Posts: 3Telling the officer at the border the truth.
I live in southern California. Some time ago, I went to Tijuana to visit the infamous Hong Kong. I plead the fifth regarding what I did there but let's just say I finally became a man. When coming back to the US, I was asked by the officer some questions, including "why did you go to tijuana" "where did you go?" like an idiot, I told him "Hong Kong". My friend told me I should have just said "I went to look around the city" and shouldn't have said Hong Kong.
I want to visit that club again, but I am afraid it's a crime because I have heard that even if you do prostitution outside the country, it's still a crime.
So my question to all you experienced Hong kongers is, when coming back to the US, have you ever told the officers you went to Hong Kong? If yes, did you encounter any problems later on?
Can I safely go to Tijuana again or will they be like "why do you go so many times? Something must be going on here"?

I used a fake name without a problem. I honestly don't recall them even checking my ID, but I could be mistaken.

They do not require ID, and it is completely cash only. Bring a copy of your email reservation (easier for the guy working the desk to enter your fake name). Note that if you get and use a VIP card, the name must match. I've heard of people saying they want ID for VIP card, but that has not been my experience.

When you buy the card, there is no requirement to give them your real name.
Just give them the name of your famous heroes.
Enrique Peņa Nieto or El Chapo sound good!

Hi everyone,
I have made a Monday penthouse reservation at Hotel Cascadas under a fake name (no one prefers to give real names). Have people used fake names to make reservations and get successfully checked-in? Does their staff check the name on your reservation against a form of ID? My first time going, don't want them to screw me over!
Thanks,
Vin.
