How / where do I find them?

Every time I park at Pepe's, I get my parking validated and they always offer me a free drink. Never knew VIP card gave you a free drink every visit. Definitely pays for itself if you a frequent visitor. I haven't been back since before New Years, but noticed talent level dropped significantly. The coconut shrimp dish was decent, but pass on the tacos. Also the VIP discount for food only works at Azuls and not when you order in the club.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but I noticed a text on my girlfriends phone from HK that showed a photo of some dude that likes to tell the chicas he has money and takes them out of the clubs for meetups. His MO is to use their service and then beat them up and leave them on the side of the road near Tecate. Hope it isn't any of you bros. Also think the text mentioned something about a large reward to locate him. Not sure how much is "large", but wouldn't want to know what happens once they find him.

Prices of beer and drinks at Hong Kong club, e. G. Heineken $ 5, Amstel Ultra $ 5, Tecate light $ 4, bottled water or bubble mineral water $ 4. Also tip for a waiter around 50 cents to $ 1. There is a wide choice of drinks and a list of all alcoholic beverages with prices is on the wall at each bar at Hong Kong club. The prices of drinks in the Adelita club are a bit lower. Beverage prices in the Cascadas Hotel room from a refrigerator, beer $ 4, bottled water or Coca Cola $ 1. If you pay $ 30 per room for 30 minutes with chica in Cascadas then two drinks are free one for you and one for chica. (e. G. Beer or tequila shot).

Are the drinks only from the honor bar / fridge or are there other options?

Prices are generally the same across the board, but HK is on the higher end, because they are the standard.

From recent reports, it sounds like arribas are being quoted at $100, but some girls are taking $80. Reports from other clubs are thin lately, but I would guess that if HK girls are negotiating down to $80, you should be able to get that everywhere.

Fichas are now $10, and ST rooms are $30 (there seems to be debate on whether you get a drink with that or not), but that number has been consistently popping up here.

Hopefully, someone can help you with the beer prices, I've been off the sauce for a while, and I just buy my drinks at OXXO. I can't imagine that they're that much more that $5, that's what I paid last time I had one there.

I understand the logic, but I was taken by surprise, as I have brought the same camera in on every one of my previous trips over the past five years, in the same bag, in the same compartment, found by the same security and it has not been called out before. Something must have changed that they are suddenly trying to control the "undesirable" publicity. Some dillweed probably pulled some shitty tricks and pissed them off, so we all get to pay the price. Can you say "shoe bomber?" Part of the reason I do not like using the iPhone is I don't want to be showing pictures on the iPhone to someone and have one of "those" pop up.

And they should have given me a receipt. If I leave my bag at the HK desk, they give me a marker. For my room deposit they give me a marker. Why not for the camera?

Not a big deal. The iPhone pictures turned out pretty good.

There's a bunch of people selling undercover / hidden camera footage of inside the clubs these days. I can't imagine they are okay with this.

You should not have been surprised. Theres so many reasons they took your camera I wouldn't know where to start. How about HK hates free publicity they don't want anyone talking about it or filming even outside. They don't even let Luke on utube go in anymore just because he is all over utube. He's liability. Paid advertising from hk is different story, they can control what they, and where. Alls it takes is one guy filming sex for porno, and its bad publicity for hk. There's always a risk the whole Zona Norte gets shut down. There used to be brothels in American cities like San Diego. It only takes some bad publicity and the conviction of a government official to shut it down. Rude Giuliani shut down times Square which was like a Zona Norte once upon a time. Things are always evolving. Soon there will be a HK in nyc that's legal. Drugs are now legal, sports betting, its now illegal to a rest working girl. But back to the point. Your camera is a liability HK doesn't need you like they didn't need the 1 k to 2 k luke probably spent a year in HK.

Was in HK around 6:30 pm. There was a lot of girls. But did not see any exceptionally hot ones. There was actually better looking girls in daytime during the summer in HK.

Hong Kong report. 10 pm. Friday night Many girls have returned that were not around wed night. The amount of guys is much lower than this summer. For instance the new section wasn't open. Upstairs was though. A lot of hot woman I would rate 20% of them a 9,20% a 8, and the rest 7. I spent money on drinks for the woman but really miss Florida strip clubs and lap dances. As expected, when I checked into Cascadas, security searched my backpack. I knew that they would do so and I had put some gifts I had brought for an ATF at the bottom of the bag as they might have not let pass. However, I didn't expect them to take my standalone camera. I do use it to take pictures of the girls I arriba (which I obviously don't share with staff), but it is with the girl's permission and I don't share them with others without permission (which I almost never get). I use the standalone, because it takes better pictures than my iPhone and is easier to manage. Also I take the chip out of the camera after taking photos, so if the camera is searched there is nothing to see. Since I don't us the iPhone, if it is ever called into question (which has happened once before), again, nothing is revealed.

So security insisted on keeping the camera. I argued, but they said it was a new policy from the higher ups and they had no choice but to take it. They said I could leave it in my car, but my car is 800 km away. I said I would just leave it in the room, but that was not acceptable. We went back-and-forth, but I lost that battle. I was going to make the argument that all the iPhones have cameras, but felt that there was a risk that they would take that too. Maybe I was marked for some reason.

They insisted on seeing my photo ID and logging my name. I asked for a receipt, but they would not give me anything in writing that said they took the camera. (It is about $400, so I wasn't going to give it up easily.) "Your camera will be safe. It will be right back here," V said pointing to the shelf area behind the counter.

"But I have nothing to prove that you took it," I insisted.

V pointed to the security cameras and said, "It is all on video. You don't need a receipt. ".

"But I don't have access to the video. You could very easily shrug your shoulders and say the camera was never taken. " No dice. No receipt. (There is a HK girl I like and I knew that she would be off shift in about an hour, so I wasn't anxious to burn a lot of my clock arguing.).

I asked if I could "check it out" during my stay if wanted to take pictures in town. They said "No. " I can have it back when I check out.

Usually I pass out tips to the security and clerks when I check in and when I check out, as they occasionally waive me past the metal detector and the pat down is very superficial. Sometimes they just let me pass. No tips for anyone when I checked in because of the argument over the camera. I did pass out tips when I checked out. (Have to admit that I was a bit of an AH regarding the incident. When I checked out, I was familiar with most of that staff, so passing out tips when checking out will make my stay next time a little easier.).

One of the ladies I took arriba actually insisted that I take pictures of her with my iPhone. She was a 9, so she did not have to ask twice. (Sorry. I cannot share, so don't ask.) I was concerned that security would want to review my iPhone when I checked out, because I brought a camera and was marked, but she was worth the risk and it didn't happen.

Checking out, they did return the camera. It was wrapped up in paper with my name written on it. It was in good order.

Bottom line, don't bring a camera if you are staying at Cascadas. Phone cameras are cool, but standalone cameras are not. I don't know how that makes sense to them, but. It is the Zona.

I don't think it's something personal against you. I suspect that HK management does not want good quality cameras in the hotel rooms so that guys from US do not make porno movies in the rooms of the Cascadas hotel for profit on the internet.

A real scam would be if they took your money or backpack and did not give you a receipt. I have had this happen to me in Tijuana and if you do not have a receipt, you will not get your stuff back, unlike in the USA. Always ask for a receipt in Tijuana when you leave a cellphone or laptop or whatever at a repair shop or leave a backpack in a hotel. Told a newbie last week who I saw left a backpack with the hotel staff this rule but he trusted them and did not go back for a receipt. Told him he was a generous guy. Probably did get his stuff back later, but who knows?

Yea, the room was pretty small and there's no way I would've missed the fridge. I bought the VIP card at check-in and they were able to find me a room despite no reservation. My room #634. I bought my beverages from oxxo, so didn't really bother me.

As an FYI I just booked a "basic" room (Deluxe Single) at Cascadas for March. The message below, which I'd probably never noticed before, was part of my reservation confirmation:

"New Policy: In order to continue to provide better service the hotel has provided a mini bar in each room. You will incur a $30 deposit for Deluxe Single & Deluxe Double rooms, which will be completely refunded if no drinks are consumed. We appreciate your patronage and we're continuously striving to provide you a better experience. ".

Based on this message it does seem that all rooms are expected to have the mini bar (small fridge). Also, I'm seeing this exact message in my reservation confirmations going back to at least early 2019 so this has been the policy for at least a couple years now.
