Not so much fun

Now they have a cover on Thursday? The girls demand (and, apparently, get) $80 to $100 for a half hour?
In contrast, in the last couple of years, at the more "local" clubs, I've been shortchanged exactly once. And that was for something like 20 pesos. I caught it but it wasn't enough to get pissy over. Only one place had the chip thing, but the mesero got my attention and offered them to me and wasn't put out in the least when I declined.
I have stopped going to HK. It is just not that much fun anymore! (I swear I would never have ever said that!)
The girls are still hot but I have established relationships with SGs and BY FAR better Sessions with Real emotions when you establish a chemistry for a FRACTION of the cost!

Well, to be ridiculously pedantic, the $5 is the cover charge. You just get a "free" beer to ease the pain. Subsequent beers are $4. Which is a ridiculous price in any case.

Or, to put it another way, the cover charge is $1 and you're forced to buy at least one $4 drink. LOL Either way, you're out $6.

Haven't been down in a month. If this is for real then the girls better lower their rate. LOL. I agree no way am I paying that much for beer. I wonder how long this is going to last. Unless the newbs and my fellow Asians just goes with it like lemmings. Oh well, I guess AB will get my business in the drink dept.

Hey guys,
Things I would really like to know would be.
1) how do I get the VIP discount from the hotel if I reserve my rooms online.
2) how much do drinks cost at popular bars like HK, Adelita, Tropical and Chicago.
3) How much do drinks cost for the girls? And when would be a good time to buy one for them.
4) do I still have to pay for the room if I book in at the Cascadas?
5) how much do dances cost per song?
6) if I take a girl upstairs, how much should I pay? I know some people said 60 is the most anyone should pay and not to ruin the market, but I've also read elsewhere that I should pay 60-80 initially and a tip after the session, if this is true how much should I tip?
7) Being an Asian that speaks no Spanish at all, will it be difficult for me to get around?
8) last and most importantly, I will be traveling alone is that a common thing or should I try to find a partner to go with just for safety issues etc.
Any other important information you guys can throw out for me as a newbie first time traveler would be awesome. Every bit of information reduce the chance I get scammed LOL thank you guys
Take the plunge and enjoy! No need to worry. Don't be a lazy bro, scan thru the forum all questions are answered.

Don't know how I missed that. Must've been at ADs. Nuts.
