There were no parade, no floats on the dates suggested by a few web sites not related to city hall. There were no official announcements by city hall, so the festivities were not organized and did not take place. Blame it on the fake internet. I reported in more details in the Ensenada's thread.

A Carnival cruise ship docked at the malecon and another ship docked at the cruise terminal, but it was very odd that the city was pretty much deserted compared to previous years. There were virtually no cruise passengers walking the malecon and the tourist shopping district. I was there just last year. There were hundreds if not a thousand or more cruise passengers everywhere, shopping, eating, drinking. This year failure may be caused by a combination of rain, cold weather and the fear of CoronaVirus.

You may want to look up the dates for the Baja500 and Baja1000 races. There would be close to a hundred race teams with guys and lots of young girls BBQing and partying in hotel's parking lots before and after the race.

We drove back from Ensanada Saturday afternoon, arriving about 3 PM. The route took us back through Calle 2 and downtown. Stopped by the fish market to buy live clams. Drove through part of Zona Rio and downtown to get to Zona Norte. There were no traffic blocks. Lots of people were walking on Constitucion and the trinket alley near the hotel nelson. No policia or Army patrol cars were seen in La Zone Norte. Did not see the foot patrol policia hanging out at the West end of the alley like usual. Everything seemed quiet and peaceful, actually much better than normal.

Coahuila alley and Constitucion had average foot traffic with many regular street girls came back to work. Security guys at HK and other bars were friendly and jovial. A group of men was arrested for robbery and stealing cars at a car dealer in Zona Rio last Wednesday. One of them is hitman for Sinaloa cartel. I am glad Tijuana policias even responded and arrested the robbers and car thieves.

By Saturday afternoon there were no policia patrol cars seen in Zona Norte. They must have been moved to Zona Rio to deal with the situation over there. Zona Norte seemed quiet and peaceful without policia and army trucks roaming around.

My wingmen and I went to Ensenada for its alleged Carnaval but nothing happened and it was a bust. We drove back to Tijuana Sat afternoon and stayed in Hong Kong until about 10 PM. Did not see you there. You could have hang out and had some fun with me and my wingmen.

I have been trying to make a trip to Germany to check out the FKKs around Frankfurt. The FKKs tour guides want about $300 per person in a party of 4 to drive you around to 2 FKKs for 6 to 8 hours, kind of expensive. But 2 guys driving together with Google maps would easily conquer that region. The wingmen prefer skinny, petite girls so tall, big Romanian and Euro girls are not favored.

Having been to Frankfurt FKKs several times, I can recommend visiting them if you have the chance. The "tour" is a waste of money. I went solo after doing a little research through the forums. The FKKs tend to be a little out-of-the-way, so you might want to rent a car. Otherwise, travel is very safe.

Regarding the girls, there are plenty to match any taste, including some very lean dolls. Indeed, the major difference between Germany and Mexico is that you will find more blonds in the FKKs. There are many Romanians, and Czechs, and Spanish, and surprise Germans. And many speak excellent English.
