I am sure anything can be faked anywhere but I do know there were two street girls who I have taken up to cascades and then one day all the sudden they do not have the ID anymore to go up there. One eventually got her ID again and was able to go up again but it is not like every girl knows how to get the needed documentation.

Got a bunch of BS yadi yadi yada from both of them why they could not get their card. Who knows the truth.

They were looking for girls working without health cards which is pretty normal in the Zona but yes they do seem to be more armed than necessary. In the times I've been in the bar when this happens the girls quickly try to run out the back area of the club at least in AB. The raid in Friday said that they found 27 girls working without proper cards or not up to date. It wasn't clear if it was those working on the street or in clubs, just mentioned that they visited various clubs, so maybe they came back on Saturday thinking that the girls would think the coast was clear since they came the night before. I know AB to be less strict on the health card so maybe they got hit the worse. In general the health card is a joke. The girls know ways to get around it or pay someone to give them a clean bill. The whole time with my ex she never had to visit a health clinic to work and of all the girls I would hang out with I only took 1 to the health clinic for he check up.

I also never heard of Sunday being a special day to do raids. Would be interested as to where you heard this or what experience you had. Sundays are the main day that I visit and I can't remember the last time I have seen a raid.

Repeat from last raid of July 14

But it turned out that they were doing a surprise check for underaged girls. At least that was what I was told when I asked a couple of waiters. That is a lot of firepower to check IDs so you can come to your own conclusions to was why cops were making a visit to HK on a Saturday night since Sunday is their traditional bust day.
I was there during July raid. About 20 police cars & national guard troops. Tactical gear. I decided to go upstairs to avoid them. I doubt they will tell anyone their real reasons for the visits. The cartels visit hktj all the time. Be careful.

I went to the pharmacy across the street from where you first walk and went to the ATM inside. It has a HSBC ATM and I was able to withdrawal Mexican pesos. It was recommended to me to use pesos as you can save some money. Plus the bank account I was using rebates all ATM fees so it was a no brainier.

Got a cab down to HK for 100 pesos. Bought some of those street tacos at the corner and walked around eating. It was still daylight out and it did not seem dangerous at all. A bunch of people were out and nobody was hiding away. I went into HK around 7 pm and walked around checking everyone out. After 30 ish minutes I found this tattood girl named Vainilla who I brought upstairs. She asked for 100 usd but I counted with 1800 pesos and she accepted. Paid 620 pesos for the room and got my free drinks. Last time I did not know about the drinks so it was nice using that to my advantage this time. She rode me good and I finished in around 20 minutes. We talked and showered and she went on her way. I have a goal now to get each girls number so I got hers and have been messaging her on whatsapp. When she went for the condom I asked how much for BBFS and she was thinking. I ended up saying no to BBFS in the moment but I will text her next time and see.

After that I went outside and had a smoke break for a bit. Needed a breather and some water. I needed more time to chill so I went into Las Chavelas and sat at the bar. I had some decent alone time there but I still had people coming up and trying to upsell me. I am still wondering on a place where you can sit in peace with a drink and chill without being talked to, maybe I should get a hotel room? Idk.
Mr CloneO. My favorite place to chill is Azul's restaurant on the alley about 30 feet east from the entrance of HK. When you walk in the door walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor and then out to the balcony. Ask any door person down there and they can direct you if needed. It looks over the alley with all the hookers on the street. Food is good enough. I just love the ambiance up there and I have taken a street girl up there after fucking the hell out of her and we just had a drink and she helped me with my spanish for a few extra bucks. What a sweet girl she was.

I am traveling from OC so I don't think I can take the trolley but I know there is transport out of Santa Ana. I might consider that if it means I can avoid that traffic!

Am I able to take the HK limo if I walk past the turnstile to the pharmacy across the street? I plan on using the ATM inside the pharmacy to get pesos and try to get a bit cheaper prices on everything.

Yes I agree on the room, I should have bought the VIP card my first visit and gotten a room each time as I would have saved money and had a place to chill. Next time I go I plan on buying the card!
Is Pedwest open now? If your talking the East gate and not Pedwest then no, you just go out of the turnstile and stay to the right and do a bit of a uturn on the side walk and the HK office will be on your right in about 100 feet. Can coordinate the taxi from there.

If your talking Pedwest (didn't think it was open yet). Then you cross the street after the turnstile. You can walk past the pharmacy and keep going east on that side walk near the car ramp that goes over the river pass. . then HK office is on your right side on that little sidewalk about 100 feet from the turnstile.

You can take HK Limo to / from border w just tips to driver. Much nicer, and safer, than a standard taxi.

If you are doing two HK gals you are already spending almost as much a regular room. So you might as well get a room where you can relax. And you can experiment with a nice street gal too.
If your going to drive to a trolley parking lot, you really need to be in San diego on i5 passing the downtown area, Italy by 230 pm, 2 pm on Fridays. Sat Sunday anytime. That's if you hate traffic. People living in San diego got a reprieve from covid, even to this day the traffic is not what it was as many people still work from home. If I can't get moving by 230 pm, personally, I wait till 7 pm or I only park at old Town Station. It takes an hour on the trolley from old Town Station. If there's a Padres game, a concert at petco.

Park, or comic con, then a parking spot may take time. With gas prices I tried to take trolley a third of time from old Town but its tough comming home in morning sitting on trolley little hung over and 4 hrs sleep since I need to be back in San diego by 8 am.

    2nd HK trip

Las Chavelas started to get more packed so I fleed to the 3rd story of HK. Nobody was up there except a few girls and waiters. I got another drink and sat at the booth by myself for a bit. Then the girls started approaching me again. I told a 2 of them I wasn't ready but then a third girl came. Her name was Krewella and she spoke very good english. Her english was much better than any of the other bar girls I have met. I had a good conversation with her and wanted to get her a drink. I learned that buying a drink for the girl and feeling them out is a great way to find chemistry. I really enjoyed our conversation and ended up taking her upstairs for 1800 pesos. She was half GFE half not GFE. Maybe she played with me, idk. But I had a good time with her and got her number also.

I went to the sushi place by mermaids and ate there. Was a decent place to sit and chill. I was super tired and barely even came during my second girl so I decided I was going to head home. I walked into Chicago and hung out there for 20 minutes. It was nice in there, nobody came up the entire time I was there. After 20 minutes in Chicago, I grabbed another cab for 100 pesos to the border.

Overall I had a great time, it was not dangerous at all. I just wish I didn't sit in traffic for so long on my drive there. I might have to leave around noon next time or late at night. Also, I tried those Okamoto condoms from Japan called the zero ones. My penis size is average but that condom would not fit at all. I hear they have a large version so I might try those. For now I bought the okamoto 004 since they allow in the US. Anyways, I plan on going back for Halloween. I might sneak in a trip before then, we will see.

I noticed a pool table in the front that you can rent by the hour. The next day went to Pockets and it usually closes at 2 am, but told by government to shut by 12 am. I was told HK was shut down. Not sure if they are truly cartel owned as other places stayed open and would imagine cartel owned businesses would not gaf. Overall good weekend, less traffic for sure, but still fun to be had and good food. Friendly bros offering beers from their cubetas and fist bumping watching latinas is always great. Glad most people stayed home as clubs had more room to breath and ladies were still out as you've got to keep the dinero flowing. Stay safe and have fun!
Nice to see that you didn't get freaked out and ditch your girl to go back to the US. For only living in Tijuana for a year it seems you have adapted well. I can't help but wonder if this latest issue made you consider trying to get her a Visa more if you haven't already began that process.

The only thing I saw about HK being opened on Saturday was what they posted on Twitter that they were open and would of been surprised if they were closed. Even the Beach Fest in Rosarito went ahead as scheduled. I did see the concert at the Tijuana Fair was cancelled.

Interesting story about going to the swingers club, I've known some strange guys over my years visiting Tijuana that enjoyed gang bangs and other activities but never heard anyone mention a swingers bar in Tijuana, I guess I just assumed everyone would go to the Zona if they were looking for that. Hopefully your inbox doesn't get over run with weirdos trying to hookup with you and your girl. LOL.

To the cartels credit, they realized that they don't need to fight the army to score. They just need to cause havoc. It sends the message that they can do that anytime they want and never once need to enter a gunfight with the army to score a victory.
People who read the news enough already knew the cartel runs Mexico. Similar to special interest groups in USA. The politicians do what they have to to stay alive in USA to not have looters at their house. Very few USA decisions are made in best interest of the majority of the people. Even the Mexican president has always said he has no beef with the cartel. He doesn't want that smoke. Criminals can do anything they don't follow laws. It's like American cities, the police stay away from a lot of areas, as they can not survive drama or shootouts with criminals. Not long term anyway. It's why the stood and watched the looters burn myc down a few years ago.

Your point is well taken and more than semantic.

But still, the towns accepted and abided by the curfew. Put another way, they were told to cease normal life operations under threat of violence, and they considered that threat credible enough that they listened to the commands. That means something.

Think of what it would take to get you to abide by a curfew that was not officially sanctioned. What would it say about your life circumstances if a criminal enterprise could tell you to stay indoors, and everyone felt compelled to listen?

This weekend was simply a show of force. Nothing tragically bad happened. YES commerce was affected which always sucks but from a violence perspective this was nothing just a flexing of muscles. If they start shooting up clubs and fire bombing restaurants then it is game over. I doubt it will get there. Too much money at stake and the repercussions from the military would be fierce.

There is a margin of checks and balances the Cartels and the Govt have an agreement on. This IMO is what you got this weekend. Violence but just enough violence nothing too extreme. Just to keep the parameters in check.

Personally I love when Tijuana gets dangerous. Less gringos is always a plus in my book.
