How can I avoid second floor rooms? Or rooms that are used for short time sex? I will stay 4 days to fully monger those days. But I'm thinking of doing a little bit of tourism. Do they have a safe deposit box in the room? Or did you take all your money out every time you were at HK?
Do SW go into cascadas? Wich ones?
Thank you!

Posts: 2793Control the meseros and the chicas! Do not let them control you! Wave them off; you are the customer!
Easy solution. Just go directly to the bar. I do it upstairs no issues, became friends with the bartender, way better experience.

Posts: 98Mmmmmmm beer! Wine and food.
The fridge on left at Azul has a nice selection on local craft bottles. The pale ale on bottom with green label is my favorite I think its Insurgente. I don't remember the prices, I have not been there since March. Norte Brewing Co, Insurgente, Border Psycho Tres Fuegos, Baja Brew Lab and Azteca Brewing are all excellent. Norte is on the 4th floor of parking garage and has a killer view. All of them a short cab ride away. A few a short walk from HK.
I've never had a cider down there.
Ayyyy Captain I've had a few excellent steaks in Azul, ribeye and and 1/2 kilo porterhouse. Have you checked out Valle de Guadalupe? If you're into wine and epic food its world class and just hitting the radar in past year or two. One of my sexy Mexi HK girls suggested we go there for a little getaway. I highly suggest checking la ruta del vino out in the VDG. Deckmans at Mogor Ranch deckmans.com forking gastro heaven! We stayed at Encuentro Guadalupe, style factor 110% . A couple nights in VDG doesn't break the bank!
No never tried any ciders around Tijuana.

Posts: 65Well yea, that was my question. How to better control them. Waving them off will buy you maybe 30 sec at best, and then they swarm again.

To Mushuu09.
If you tip the meseros to stop annoying you, they would all come over and annoy you every 2 minutes to get their tips.
You can tip the girls $1 and talk to them, or grope and check their assets for a few minutes without buying fichas. If the meseros ask, just shake your head. It's up to the girls how long she want to stay with you.
The quickest way to interview a girl for good sessions is to squeeze a $1 into her bras and squeeze her boobs, then pull her closer to you and try to plant a kiss on her lips. If she smiles, kisses back, or at least appears neutral and not pulls away hard, she would likely enjoy your intimate company and give you hot sex in bed. The girls usually give me wet kisses back, but remember a lot of those girls are young and tender, coming from prudish families, genuinely afraid of being pawed by big, hairy Gringos. They like guys who appear nice, fun, gentle.

Posts: 65How to hold off the waiters from buying lady drinks.
I've been to Tijuana numerous times, but I have no found out a sensible and reliable way to stop the waiters from hounding me for a lady drink / ficha. Yes that's how the club makes money, that's how the girl makes money, that's how the waiter make tip, but I'm not a fucken charity so when I buy fichas (which I often do), I just want to make it count. I don't want to just pull a random girl and find out she sucks at her job, and it's always funner when I have a connection with the girl.
So what's the best way to get a minute or two with a girl to see if there's a potential connection, before buying a lady drink. Should I tip the waiter a buck and ask for a minute or two. Or just tell them I need a minute. What route works the best? Looking for that fine line. Not to appear bossy. Cheap. Or otherwise compromising my own fun.

Posts: 6517Azul's 2-4-1 dinners with wine
To DrMcnaughty.
Just curious, what are Azul's Happy hour deals?
Which craft beers and how much they charge?
I was having a 2-4-1 steak dinner with my wingman on Azul's balcony. 2 rib eyes served on hot plates, each over 1 pound perfectly grilled to rare with all the trimmings, costed only $11 or 187 pesos with the coupon, what a great deal.
I asked Azul's waiter for their wine prices. Despite having wine bottles hung on the wall, he had no wine list or details about the types and brands. He said a glass of red wine would cost 150 pesos. WHAT? I asked him again, he again confirmed 150 pesos a glass. Mr. Pampas only charged 300 pesos for a full bottle of good Chilean reserva wine. There had to be an error in Azul's price, or more likely they had no wine and had to buy from HK, paying inflated prices. Any way I ordered a Bohemia beer and he said 50 pesos, which would be Azul's prices. HK's price would be 85 pesos for Bohemia.
To complicate prices further, Azul's 2-4-1 dinner deals have to be consumed in HK, with drinks bought from HK's bar, not Azul's. Normally if you dine with HK's chicas in Azul, the drinks and fichas have to be ordered with HK's meseros at higher prices. We were sitting on the balcony with cool night breeze, enjoying the view full of sexy activities on the street below. My wingman did not want to eat with the deafening noise in the club. Azul's manager was nice enough to make a long phone call to HK's owner for a waiver. Finally we got the 2 steak dinners we wanted for $11 on Azul's balcony.
We ordered filet mignons from Azul's menu; they served big rib eyes instead, but we did not give them a hard time. The steaks were perfectly grilled to rare, tender and tasteful in Azul, vs. Always burned to shoe leather when ordered from HK. Steaks are not on HK meseros' snack menu, but ask for Santiago, the young mesero with a Mohawk hair. He's a good, honest guy, speaks English and can mange the system to get you 2 steaks for $11.
Got to admit, business guys in La Zona have good customer service and are very reasonable to deal with, completely opposite the old farts in this site who would pick nits, make false accusations to smear their friends, and try to puff themselves up every little chance they have.

Talk to Simon in Azul he will hook you up with the flavor you're wanting. Many excellent craft breweries in Tijuana. Azul usually has some daily or happy hour deal. The deck is a great place to kick back observe the alley shananigans and sip a coolie!

No one mentioned premium and imported beers!
Regular beers = 4 dollars all the time in the club.
