Since I hate getting played, I recommend all newbs as a monger rule: 'order directly from the waiter for the lady drink'. Do not sit back and let the chica you just met order for herself and possible arriving friends. It also sets a good tone, "I am Big Papi" I am in control. Reign in as much command as you can because at some point she will. I told my waiter "get her a beer!" She of course didn't want beer and ordered an alternate drink directly (luckily that didn't come back to bite me) The waiter mumbled something to me and I nodded thinking "Dam" she could have just ordered a bottle of $1,000 champagne. So even as I preach rules to follow sometimes in the middle of the action things go sideways. Luckily Tijuana is shady but HK seems to be somewhat legit.

I'm not a fan of buying shots for a chica you just met, #1) she's pounding that water fast and gives you less time and cost more to build rapport. 2) she could be a lazy drunk 3) She could end up to be a stinky witch on the rag and you just dropped 3-5 shots of Don Julio water to figure that out and could have discovered that with 1 beer.

So luckily my girl ordered a cheap mixed drink or juice, It was $10 with a tip. Had I known dude was coming back 3-4 times with a food menu blocking my woody I for sure would not have tipped I am going to assume that was the cheapest lady drink 'ficha'? $10 at HK? It was a small price to pay especially if you happen to select a real saleslady. In my small experience HK girls are trying their best to hit that room after drink 1, seems like they will sit and drink 2-3 and on if necessary because the client is a drinker. But their main goal is drink 1 and hit that room ASAP, get back down and repeat. Just curious if I am correct for the most part. HK and the chica's do not seem in general to rip off dudes with high priced drinks. I am sure some scams do happen especially for stupid drunk gringos. Sounds like some of you guys enjoy buying higher priced drinks / Big baller tequila bottles and shots perhaps to gain more later. I get that. I tend to avoid late nights and most of my time is HK is from 1 pm to 9 pm. It does seem like the drinks start flowing heavier from 8- 2 am.

I don't try to think too much into ficha game. I gauge interest of the lady. If after 1-2 drinks and she isn't that into me, then next. My regulars I could careless what they order as long as it isn't an outrageous demand. I know they provide me with great service. Also the meseros asking if you want food or more drinks doesn't block my woody. They are just looking to get their tip as well. It should be $9 plus whatever tip you want to provide them. I was getting down with one regular riding me and some meseros came by to see if we wanted more drinks, but either I just didn't pay attention or waved them off. I wouldn't over complicate it.

I have buddies in the States that will keep a couple Adderall (Adderall is basically legal meth) pills with them when they go out drinking so they can sober up real quick to be able to drive straight without risking getting a DUI on the way home.

The Adderall may make you more awake / alert / focused / concentrated but will not diminish the alcohol concentration in you (i.e. medically and scientifically proven the nothing can extinguish the alcohol but time). Of course if eat enough food it will slow down entry of alcohol into the body. It's a bar, an establishment that's main purpose is to sell alcohol. The ladies are entertainers and it's their job description to drink and get drunk with their clients. And by "taking advantage of them" do you mean paying them $100 to go upstairs and fuck their pussy? That's not taking advantage of anybody. That's literally their whole job description. They're literally girlfriends for rent, putas. And 95% of the time the chicas love getting drunk and wild and getting "taken advantage of."

I have only purchased one FMM and it expired on 9/30/2020. I'm still using it almost a year later and no one has bothered to check it close enough to make me buy a new one.

I was prepared with a dental invitation for the next day when I attempted to cross the border.

There was no one staffing the normal booths for international walk-ins.

They took me straight to that BIG officer who said my dental appointment is for next day so I need to come back.

He said I can get $30 visa for 6 months.

When I asked him for a better deal he offered 24 hrs visa (a bribe) for $20.

I paid $20 and got into Mexico with the intention that next time I will have same day appointment and assuming border will be open in October.

But with delta variant I might have made a mistake and should have paid $30 for FMM.

So advice. If you are going to use dental appointment. Make sure that it is for the same day as you are entering.

Hmm doesn't make any sense at all, so why not pay $10 more and get the 6 month FMM? You get to use Mexican national line. Works especially well on weekends as the foreigner line is always backed up. They just check date on FMM and wave you through. Maybe echo variant is around the corner?
