Talent on Sunday was poor compared to the past and the place didn't seem to have a good partying crowd. They also had half of Chavelas closed off.

I would asume, the no smoking law is a significant damage financially to Hong Kong. Even if your going out to smoke 2 x hour you can't buy a bottle unless you have a trust worthy friend to watch it. But your probably going out to smoke. Some guys don't even want to go out to smoke because now your on the street. Then consider the price now starts at 100 for the bottom looking girls and goes up fast for thr pretty ones, the rooms per session are alot of money, if you buy a girl a drink you have to turn down food and wine and it makes a guy feel cheap or poor, the peso is now stronger, I would expect some slow down. The talent seems to have deteriorated after the Covid lockdowns. It seems their standards at HK have become less stringent and they are just gambling the heavier chicas will sell the drinks they're required for the week. You never know which chica has the talent to sell 100+ fichas a week. Some are wallflowers and will get kicked to another club while others are straight hustlers. I knew about Scandalo in Sao Paolo. Look like an upscale club, saBut I was with dignified company so could not partake.

Did see dozens of tall dark trannies in colorful dresses and high heels chasing cars at high noon on the main Blvd leading to Univ do Sao Paolo, not exactly my cup of tea.

Safety. I found no issues with safety especially if you stay inside the club. If walking, you cross the border and walk for 30 seconds before you are in their limo / truck thing and getting dropped in front of the club. As you step out of the vehicle, there is a ton of security in front of the club. Everyone goes through a metal detector and pat down before entering. If you do not dress flashy or wear flashy jewelry or try to score some drugs, you will be fine. I did walk around the block once on Sunday night and did not sense any concerns. Let's face it, whether you are in Tijuana, at an outlet mall, or in any public space, you always need to be aware of your surroundings. Since I go to Tijuana alone, I don't drink too much and do not put myself in a vulnerable position.

Excellent, excellent point. I read all the sob stories on this and other boards about the trouble people get into in Tijuana and am convinced a large percentage of them (maybe not the majority, but a large portion) are at least partly due to poor decisions the person made (often while drunk) to put themselves in the position of being harassed in the first place. But when they post their sob stories to these boards they nearly always leave out the stupid shit they did to put themselves in a bad situation / vulnerable position.

Have been through a bunch of parts of Tijuana over the past 10-12 years and personally never even come close to having trouble with anyone. Whether it be Zona Norte or anywhere else out and about in Tijuana. Everyone's always been real cool. In general Mexico is more chill and laid-back than the USA Much of the key is to. As you pointed out. Stay aware of your surroundings (including staying in generally safe areas), keep a low profile, and refrain from doing stupid shit in another country. But for some it's apparently a lot harder than others to follow those simple rules. Obviously can't deny the abundance of corrupt police and high crime but again, you can mitigate those risks with basic street smarts and keeping a low profile.

I've written about this once or twice because it continues to anger me due to the large scar on my head when they dropped me head first after I passed out. Now that I don't its passing me off this scar. This would been a little before midnight on a Sat night, I hadn't even been drinking or gone to bars but you needed a hotel had no bags had finished a tinder date in Ceasars and she went her way and I went looking for a hotel. It was a crowded street and 6 deported types 3 woman, all about 23 to 26, all dressed to go clubbing on revolution, they got me by having one girl offer sex. I told her no but she kept talking to me wanted a dollar I took put a 5, went looking for the single and a dude is in my face asking for the whole wallet. I thought he was joking because he was like 5 foot 2. Then another ones in my face I'm fighting off six hands trying to get in my wallet and then3 more show up 1 of which chokes me out, when I wake up, I'm bleeding bad and a working girl wants to know how much they stole. They all watched it. Border patrol rushed me in called ambulance for San diego hospital. Before I got in the taxi, as most $ was in sneaker, another street dude said if I told the police about them he would kill me. Meanwhile I had told the police a minute earlier. If this haopned in usa none of you would even know about it because I would of gone about it differently, and wouldn't even be angry about it still like I am. They got away with it because its mexixo and I can't make any moves in mexixo.

Actually Chicago is much hotter. So much so it caught fire! There is no reasoning with you or any one else's tastes or descriptions. I've spent thousand hours in HK over last 7 yrs and really can remember only 1 girl who looked like she was from Spain. The rest looked like they were Mexican. Which is not a bad thing, but that 5 to 10 % of Mexicans being European looking isn't really a thing in Hong Kong. I'm surprised guys are so picky about what woman they like. I like any girl that's in shape. The only ones I do t find pretty are many of the Chinese girls, more than half, and most Thai girls.
