Dude probably deserved it. Bringing drugs into the hotel, probably wanting to drug his women as well, this dude had no good intentions or respect for the women working there. I have no sympathy for his death.

So you know nothing about this person and seem to judge him on what he was doing. I hate to break the news to you but a majority of these girls do drugs so he wouldn't have to try very hard to get a girl to do drugs with him.

Absolutely. I'm sure the kid wasn't perfect / straight-laced. (I surely am not and most people aren't LOL.) But in reading the article it seems he was just a 23-year old young man from Jamaica who had only lived in the USA For a few years but had already gotten his USA Citizenship and had joined the Navy. Obviously didn't know the kid but sounded like he was at least trying to make something of his life vs. Being out on the streets or whatever. Shame he went out the way he did OD'ing in the hotel of a brothel (article said he died in room 607). You almost wish his family didn't have to find out those circumstances.

I am sure this probably happens way more often then we aware of. It is very sad how the drug problem is getting much worse, all over the world especially in America.

Clubs unfortunately still allow smoking.

Sometimes I get driven out of some areas of HK club due to intensity of the smell.

In fact the Covid masks are a God send since we can now wear masks without looking wierd. I do that sometimes if I don't want to move.

CORRECTION: due to a recent change in Mexican laws. SMOKING NOT ALLOWED ANYMORE AT HK.

La Isla Once I complained about the numbers of hot chicas there early on a Friday night. . they took me on a tour of the dressing room so I wouldn't leave. WOW I fucked a lot of models from there at my hotel.

Although I have been in Parque Llaras etc. I have never picked up SW's there (only in Tijuana) Seems that you have not found what I have in La Isla & other places in Colombia. Even now I do the math comparing Tijuana to Colombia. It's a long "drive" to Medellin compared to MX.

MX is a good option when you are pressed for time and sometimes there can be hot girls. Safe? Depends on where you are and how you roll. I lived there. Seen too much.

I've had some good experiences in CO also but have to keep a low profile. However no matter where you go especially now with rising anti-gringo sentiment could get in trouble. My last trip Nov. 2019 I went to Envigado to walk around, have dinner then taxi back. I hailed a taxista off the street in nice area but he got really upset when I called the street we were driving on 'Ave. Poblado'. It was the same street but there in Envigado apparently called something else before it got into Poblado. I had to 'lo siento' a few times and 'tranquilo' but he still giving me the mean eye as I walked uo to my apartment. I wasn't rude to him just really happy I had a nice dinner out and purchased 3 large bottles of Aguila light beer for $1. 15 apiece. And it wasn't that late sometime before 10 PM.

Do you think what he took was fentanyl laced? Normal coke doesn't make you bleed out the nose like that. Really sucks that this happened. I would like to hear the chica's side of the story if she was with him when he took the drugs. If for anything to give the family peace of mind.

I stayed at Cascadas May 3-6 and had an awesome time at the club, etc.

Am I imagining it or did the large TV get a little thinner. Also when the large screen gets dark the whole floor gets dark. I don't like the lighting at those times.

I agree Thursday night at the Miami wing was a little thin turnout. But they were good at getting gals to dance there even at 3 am with thin crowds;.

I was surprised since I would expect people from the closed bar Adelitas to come here.

But, Friday was packed in the new wing.

HK is complying with a new Mexican anti-smoking law and has become a non smoking club. This is AWESOME!

Every trip till now I have been forced to move chairs due to strong smoke from the guy next to me.

I even saw a security guy snuff out one guy's cigaratte and point to the new non smoking sign.

The fat guy was there with lots of cheap snacks in the early evening of Thursday (not Wed & Friday nights).

Lots of great new gals.

I am amazed how many gals change outfits in the course of the evening. Some change into three or more outfits in one shift.

All else was great at the best club in the world!

I am so grateful for HK, Cascadas and the streetgirls for enabling me to enjoy life. Now I am back to my sexless life in Silicon Valley.

Getting ready to book my room at cascadas for my trip 20-24th this month. Looking at rooms. Any reason to upgrade from the basic room? I want to have a good time and relax, don't want to overspend and have girls over hanging based on the room. If that's a thing LOL. Planning on getting the vip card. Was looking at the penthouse executive suite. Any other recommendations? I was going to book under and use pseudonym during my stay (I'm single no issues there, but don't need a paternity phone call.

The newer floors will all have nicer rooms while the remodeled lower floor rooms are not as nice.

So ask for a room on the new part of the hotel in the highest floor -ask for 8th floor new room.

This happened a few days ago and I figured someone else would post about it but I guess it was missed.

Basically this young guy was found dead in Cascadas just after checkout time, he was alone in the room lying on the bed bleeding from the nose. Seems to be a simple case of OD. I'm sure others that like to blame HK or Cascadas for everything will say differently. My point in sharing this story is to hopefully make some of you that want to do drugs in the Zona to think about the consequences. Imagine this guys family being called and that their kid has died in Mexico. Right now you never know what crap is mixed with these drugs, and I would never trust buying from anyone on the street.

I know some guys will still do it especially if you are with a girl that is doing it. I try to stay away from those types because the last thing you want is to have this happen to a girl that is in the room with you.

I was the hotel May 3-6 and did not notice anything unusual that evening.

I have a good friend who used to be in the Navy who is far from being straight laced. In fact, I met him through this site years ago LOL! He's messed with many tutes. Then and now. The Navy proly still does outlaw most of our clubs like they did when I was in 30 years ago. They didn't ban travel to MEX but banned going to our type of clubs. I remember the Plan of the Day before each weekend back then banning HK, CC, AB etc...

Took a trip to the venue Sunday afternoon. Been a while. Same great place.

Tried something new this time. Told a mesero what kind of girl I wanted and gave him 10 bucks. He went around the club looking for my type and bringing them to my table. 10 dollars well spent. And the girls didn't push. If I nodded no they just moved on.

Yep, stick with Tijuana, GDL, MTY and CDMX. Way safer and less drugs unless you are actively searching for the activity. I find the girls in Mexico much more friendlier and fun, then there Colombian counterparts. Both places have beautiful women, but any country were fake / big asses are the norm is not for me. I love the Mexican women.

Damn shame, RIP. Was just a young kid who seemed to be living a positive life. I thought military (at least Navy military) had to get approval from superiors to go to Mexico; decent possibility he didn't have that approval if he was in HK.

Drug-free here so OD'ing isn't something I worry about. Highly likely it was an OD as described but with those Zona Norte clubs you never know honestly. Article I think mentioned all they found in his room was some beer and nothing crazy.

Wow very sad. In last few years I started worrying about dying in bed, and therefore reduced my cascadas hotels from 25 night to 1 or 2. I guess after 47 I start seeing so many friends passing already it gets in my head a bit. Looks better if its a normal hotel.
