Saturday night at HK turned out to be quite a fun surprise. I had the pleasure of sharing a booth with the notorious Tomjackin.

It was a blur of photo flashes, booze, and chicas. I don't know many people who can match his tequila pouring privileges in HK. His meseros sure know how to take care of him.

I also got to meet the cousins, so now I know where some of his pics come from, these chicas were fun to watch. I swear he must have four hands, seemed like he had hands on each chica while simultaneously pouring drinks. Go figure.

The chica I had with me got a kick out of all the antics, but eventually we had to head upstairs. Thanks for the drink coupons buddy.

As fate would have it, my plan to leave the zona early turned to shit, and I had a nice hang-over as a souvenir.

As I was walking down the street there was this old lady in a wheel chair that came up begging me for money. Every single trip I have been to Tijuana on she has been there. I am beginning to think that she lives on avenue Coahuila. I always ignore her based on the readings here that say you should never talk to strangers down there because they might be drug dealers and if a cop sees you talking to a drug dealer they will arrest you just for talking. This lady in the past has tried to set me up with ladies and she has tried to sell me drugs and I always walk straight past her but she is persistent and follows me. She is beginning to annoy me. She always tells me that she is on a youtube video somewhere and she is famous so probably others here have seen here. If anyone here can tell me how to get her to shut up I would appreciate it because she is really annoying.

The lady in the wheelchair is Yolanda, she is somewhat famous as far as the Zone Norte goes. Not to long ago she was hit by a garbage truck while chasing her little doggie. Rumor on the internet had her dying after the accident. Someone even posted a big long eulogy. After reading the eulogy I only had wished I was nicer to her when she was alive. And then about a month or 2 later she was back again this time in a wheelchair. Now I never give panhandlers money but after the miracle of seeing her alive I got in the habit of giving her a dollar, however that is starting to get old. So as far as trying to get her to leave you alone Tempe John, try this. Her favorite line has always been "If I were pretty you would give me a dollar" Next time she asks for money reverse it and tell her if she was pretty you would give her a dollar. Let me know if it works.

As far as cabs go you are better off walking past the first barrage of yellow cabs continue down the sidewalk cross the first street you come to. To your right you will see a Mcdonalds, take a step to your left you will see a line of cabs, in the back window of the cabs it will usually say Econocab. Offer 3 dollars to HK or what ever club you choose and you should have no problem and that will leave you with an extra 2 dollars for tacos or whatever.

It was a yellow cab. To my knowlege, only the yellow cabs pick up at the border. I have never seen a white cab at the border when I entered.

I should have said something when we starterd driving by the airport. I thought it was strange when I started seeing the Tijuana airport as I had never seen that on my previous trips.

How much does the Nelso go for per night? If my memory is correct that hotel is right next to the arch. Is it a safe walk to the zona from there?

The Nelson had to drop its prices a while back. I think the Ticuan really cut into its business. Last I checked, a room is about $40. Ask for a higher room. The street noise can be intense, although not like it was in years past.

That bit of Primero, between Revu and Constitucion is a bit seamy. But it's safe to walk it, if you are aware of your surroundings and check your 6. Walk in the street if it makes you feel safer. I think the north side, by Dragon Rojo, is a bit less seedy than the opposide near Rio Verde. BTW, Dragon Rojo is a rather trendy local joint. El Fracaso, next door, is chock full of girl-next-door chicas who do the $1 / dance thing and are happy to go next door to the Hotel DF, which has some fairly nice short-time rooms. Although you wouldn't know it from the outside. Spanish is a must, but fluency isn't mandatory.

The above is predicated on traversing it reasonably early. I have no idea how bad it gets between, say. 2:00am and 5:00am.

when you arrived, did you take a yellow cab to adelita? yellow cabs operate on the zone model. it's a flat fee from the taxi stand to the area of your destination. from the border to the zona norte it's $5. period. whether you want to go to ab, hk or la perla. they may or may not get commissions from the bars, but that's not your concern. the rate is $5. don't take any shit from them, and don't ask. just tell them where you want to go and get in. sit in the front. give him $5 at the end.

the vip areas do not have beds, etc. this would run counter to mexico's anti-brothel laws. technically, a bar like hk with beds for customers' use would qualify as an illegal brothel. ymmv, and reports abound of guys getting fs in vip. if you need to stay within walking distance of the zona, try hotel nelson. it's a 5 minute walk to adelita. it has a nice old school watering hole bar, good for chilling, and the food is pretty decent. it's also really, really old, complete with shuddering elevator and creaky floors.

chicago is a shadow of its former self. but things don't get going until at least 10:00pm.

i got there and a strange thing happenned. i went to a cabbie and said "hong kong por cinqo dollares americanos" and the cabbie answered me in english and told me that it would cost $10 to go to hong kong but he would take me to adelitas for $5. i was like what one earth? the two places are right next to each other. the cabbie told me that adelitas pays him a higher commission so all i had to do is agree to go to adelitas and step inside and then i could leave and go to hong kong. i was like ok, take me to adelitas then. i got to adelitas and i was still carrying my overnight bag so i did exactly as the cabbie said and i walked inside adelitas and walk right out and then walked over to cascadas to get the room that i had already gotten a reservation for online. very strange!

i got in my room and found that i did not even have a towel. the problem was i did not find out until after i had taken my shower. after driving 6 hours i was smelling pretty bad so i wanted to shower. i had to improvise using my pants as a towel and then after i threw on some new clothes i went back and asked for a couple of towels. it took them over an hour to get me a couple of towels in my room. cascadas raised their rates and their service is going down hill! i definitely am going to explore other hotels. after i finally got the towel situation done i rested a bit because i had a wild night ahead! i rested for maybe an hour and then i got up and started the adventure.

i ate my tacos and went into chicago. it was dead! no one was in there and no one was dancing. it has been dead on all three of my trips down to tijuana so i am not sure how that place even keeps in business.

after chicago i decided to take a look at what is walking around outside. i walked down coahuila and the callejon coahuila. i must say that there were some awesome looking girls. i did not not partake. to be honest, i am sort of scared to do the street girls because i do not know if they are of age. obviously club girls are of age because the club owners check them out to make sure they are. they have to have health cards and everything. street girls though are unregulated. you never know if they have a card or not so you do not know if you are doing a 16 year old. my spanish is improving but i still do not speak spanish well enough to deal with them. maybe some day i will learn enough spanish to ask for a health card. the issue i am having now is that in the spanish class i am taking my teacher is a lady from ecuador and i really do not feel comfortable asking her how to say all of these things like asking for health cards and whatnot. i wish there was a spanish class that taught mongering lingo. lol.

one thing i wanted to ask you all though is about something she offerred me. she offerred to take me to vip for $80 for an hour. i wonder if this is the solution to my expensive hotel room problem. has anyone here ever taken a girl to the vip room aka the miami room? when you are in the vip does the girl have sex with you or is it just a privado with lots of touching? does it have some sort of bed or other fixture to do the act upon? if that was the case i was thinking maybe i could stay at the hotel leyva which i have heard is significantly cheaper and is respectable quality and safety. i would appreciate it if anyone has any insight on this.

at about 11 pm i went to my room and retired for the night. the next morning i had a real crazy adventure. i got up at 7 am and checked out. i found a cabbie and told him to take me to "la ligne". the idiot took me to the otay-mesa border crossing instead of the san ysidro. i had never been to that border crossing so i had to look around and i finally found a cabbie that spoke english and told him what had happenned. he talked to his boss and his boss payed for the cab ride to get me to the san ysidro. both of the cabs were the white cabs so they decided to give me customer service and give me a free ride. the cabbie boss guy payed the cabbie with his own money to get me to san ysidro. does anyone here know how to avoid this in the future? what do i say to the cabbie so he knows i want the san ysidro border crossing and not the otay-mesa one?

i then drove home and fell asleep immediately because of all the driving. all in all it was a fun trip.

i walked around the zona again just to look at the eye candy and low and behold i found someone that i had met last time. there is a guy named omar that used to live in orange county but got deported 13 years ago and is now homeless because he has no relatives in mexico anymore. last time i was in tijuana i met him and he was my translator. for only $5 he went with me to several clubs and talked to all the girls for me. it was probably a stupid thing that i did this because as i said earlier you should not talk to strangers down there because you do not know if they are known drug dealers (i guess my priorities are really fucked up, i avoid old ladies in wheel chairs because i am afraid they are going to get me in trouble but i talk to deported undocumenteds that come up to me and offer to make arrangements for me. lol). so far omar seems to have not gotten me in trouble yet. i hope he is not a drug dealer. he recognized me from last time and we hung out together. he is homeless so he was quite happy to go with me into the chicago club and be my translator just for buying him a beer. omar seems pretty cool. he told me he is in the zona every night because he speaks perfect english so he tries to help other gringos out just for tips. chicago this time had a couple of girls dancing but they were hags. there was maybe 3 people in the place so it was still dead.

if you ever need advice, please reach out and read past postings so you can get the feel of the land. yeah, i was there this past weekend and was a little disappointed in hk myself. don't know why but it seems like the b shift was in and the a shift took a vacation. a far as prices go, yes, cascadas did raise their rent. also, $80 for an hour is a bargain since most only will stay for 30 min. the taco stand is world famous, there are actually 2, the other one is on the other side of the block of hk around the corner. as far as needing a translator, you don't really need one down there, i go there frequently and have some basics and thats all i need. most of the people that work in hk or ab has a basic understanding of english so you are good. there are some that are no english at all tho. as for the cabbie, thats the first i've heard of them taking you to the wrong border. you mustve said some thing to him to take you to otey. i just say border in english and have always been dropped off in ysidro. anyways, my point is read the board, there are fellow mongers there too that maybe cool to hang out with and guide you through tijuana when you come down.

i got in my room and found that i did not even have a towel. the problem was i did not find out until after i had taken my shower. after driving 6 hours i was smelling pretty bad so i wanted to shower. i had to improvise using my pants as a towel and then after i threw on some new clothes i went back and asked for a couple of towels. it took them over an hour to get me a couple of towels in my room. cascadas raised their rates and their service is going down hill! i definitely am going to explore other hotels. after i finally got the towel situation done i rested a bit because i had a wild night ahead! i rested for maybe an hour and then i got up and started the adventure.

i went into hong kong just to see what was working this evening. i was not quite ready to indulge yet as the night was still young. i was not that impressed. hong kong did not have a very good selection this time. in the past they have always had the best but this time it was not very good. i left and went over to adelitas.

adelitas had one really good hottie that i tipped as she was dancing and got to test out for a minute. i was not quite ready to do anything though as the night was still young. the girls at adelitas seem to not get fully nude so i do not like that. i personally like to fully inspect before i rent. lol. yes, if you hand them a dollar they will flash you but i wish they would walk around a bit.

after adelitas i headed towards chicago and i found this awesome taco stand just south of chicago on av constitucion. it had awesome tacos for only $1. 20 a piece! they were amonst some of the best tacos i have ever tasted. i highly recommend this taco stand. i ate my tacos and went into chicago. it was dead! no one was in there and no one was dancing. it has been dead on all three of my trips down to tijuana so i am not sure how that place even keeps in business.

after chicago i decided to take a look at what is walking around outside. i walked down coahuila and the callejon coahuila. i must say that there were some awesome looking girls. i did not not partake. to be honest, i am sort of scared to do the street girls because i do not know if they are of age. obviously club girls are of age because the club owners check them out to make sure they are. they have to have health cards and everything. street girls though are unregulated. you never know if they have a card or not so you do not know if you are doing a 16 year old. my spanish is improving but i still do not speak spanish well enough to deal with them. maybe some day i will learn enough spanish to ask for a health card. the issue i am having now is that in the spanish class i am taking my teacher is a lady from ecuador and i really do not feel comfortable asking her how to say all of these things like asking for health cards and whatnot. i wish there was a spanish class that taught mongering lingo. lol.

as i was walking down the street there was this old lady in a wheel chair that came up begging me for money. every single trip i have been to tijuana on she has been there. i am beginning to think that she lives on avenue coahuila. i always ignore her based on the readings here that say you should never talk to strangers down there because they might be drug dealers and if a cop sees you talking to a drug dealer they will arrest you just for talking. this lady in the past has tried to set me up with ladies and she has tried to sell me drugs and i always walk straight past her but she is persistent and follows me. she is beginning to annoy me. she always tells me that she is on a youtube video somewhere and she is famous so probably others here have seen here. if anyone here can tell me how to get her to shut up i would appreciate it because she is really annoying.

after this i went back to my hotel room for a little bit and rested again. i then went back to adelitas to try to find the hot lady i had seen earlier but she seemed to not be there. oh well, hopefully i will see her again sometime. i then went into hong kong and still there was not very many super hotties. they let me down this time. i did however find one girl that i sort of liked. she was not as hot as past girls i have had there but she was pretty good. she tried to tell me her name as i bought her a drink but it was hard to understand. it sounded like cherninka but that is probably not right. she spoke a little bit of english. i used my little spanish that i knew plus my now famous android jibiggo talking translator. lol and i did communicate with her. i talked with her a while and i got a privado from her. i had a coupon off the internet i had obtained. she was pretty good. i was not quite ready to do her yet because it was still fairly early and i still wanted to get my juices flowing more. i am 42 years old now so i think my juices take longer to get flowing now. lol. it is hell to get old! i promised her i would be back to have "sexo".

one thing i wanted to ask you all though is about something she offerred me. she offerred to take me to vip for $80 for an hour. i wonder if this is the solution to my expensive hotel room problem. has anyone here ever taken a girl to the vip room aka the miami room? when you are in the vip does the girl have sex with you or is it just a privado with lots of touching? does it have some sort of bed or other fixture to do the act upon? if that was the case i was thinking maybe i could stay at the hotel leyva which i have heard is significantly cheaper and is respectable quality and safety. i would appreciate it if anyone has any insight on this.

i walked around the zona again just to look at the eye candy and low and behold i found someone that i had met last time. there is a guy named omar that used to live in orange county but got deported 13 years ago and is now homeless because he has no relatives in mexico anymore. last time i was in tijuana i met him and he was my translator. for only $5 he went with me to several clubs and talked to all the girls for me. it was probably a stupid thing that i did this because as i said earlier you should not talk to strangers down there because you do not know if they are known drug dealers (i guess my priorities are really fucked up, i avoid old ladies in wheel chairs because i am afraid they are going to get me in trouble but i talk to deported undocumenteds that come up to me and offer to make arrangements for me. lol). so far omar seems to have not gotten me in trouble yet. i hope he is not a drug dealer. he recognized me from last time and we hung out together. he is homeless so he was quite happy to go with me into the chicago club and be my translator just for buying him a beer. omar seems pretty cool. he told me he is in the zona every night because he speaks perfect english so he tries to help other gringos out just for tips. chicago this time had a couple of girls dancing but they were hags. there was maybe 3 people in the place so it was still dead.

i then left chicago and had omar order me some more tacos from that awesome taco stand using his completely perfect spanish instead of my [CodeWord140] pooor spanish. lol. omar even gave me some good advice. he told me to never go into the playboy club because the waiters are known to short change gringos there. he told me he used to be a waiter there so that is how he knows. he also said that the southwest corner of constitucion and coahuila is a known place for pot smokers. i appreciated knowing that so that i know where to avoid to avoid trouble. omar seems pretty cool. i think he should open up a zona sex tour service for gringos since his english is perfect.

omar then left and i went back to hong kong. i then met cherninka or whatever her name is. she told me she had only been there three days and that she was leaving on tuesday so she is not a permanent there. she is from cancun. i bought her a couple of drinks and then as i had promised her earlier we went to my hotel room for sexo. $80 was what her cost was. that seems to be the going rate at hong kong. she was not bad. she was pretty tight. we had sex for a full hour and then we showered together and we went back to hong kong and i bought her a couple more drinks. she was not as good as previous girls i have had a hong kong but nonetheless she was not bad. i did not last much longer at hong kong as i was getting pretty tired.

at about 11 pm i went to my room and retired for the night. the next morning i had a real crazy adventure. i got up at 7 a. m. and checked out. i found a cabbie and told him to take me to "la ligne". the idiot took me to the otay-mesa border crossing instead of the san ysidro. i had never been to that border crossing so i had to look around and i finally found a cabbie that spoke english and told him what had happenned. he talked to his boss and his boss payed for the cab ride to get me to the san ysidro. both of the cabs were the white cabs so they decided to give me customer service and give me a free ride. the cabbie boss guy payed the cabbie with his own money to get me to san ysidro. does anyone here know how to avoid this in the future? what do i say to the cabbie so he knows i want the san ysidro border crossing and not the otay-mesa one?

i then drove home and fell asleep immediately because of all the driving. all in all it was a fun trip.
