These taxi drivers must be colluding to not take you to revolution for 5 anymore. I asked 4 in a row and they all said no. I ended up paying 7 because I was exhausted and had 1500 on me. It used to be easy. You would say 5 and they would say yes. Either things are more expensive for them or they all colluded to make it 7.

Unfortunately I can't buy a SIM card by the revolving gates. The store across the street doesn't sell them. When I get to revolution, that's when I buy a sim card and use uber the rest of trip. Can't stand taxis and meseros. It's such a great feeling when you're in front of hk waiting for an uber knowing all those yellow taxis are making no money because they are so dishonest. If they understood capitalism they would realize they are making less by their business practices not more. They would make more trips and tips if they didn't rip everyone off. Mexico will always be third world.

How much is the sim card for the night? And is it open 24 hours?

Yeah dude, you were ripped off on the drive to HK. You have to tell them $7 or $8 to ride to HK before you get in otherwise they can tell you whatever they want. You were also ripped off crossing the border with a drivers license. It totally depends on who is standing there but it should never cost anything to go into Mexico.

And these new rules where the waiters get mad if the girl is having fun with you is such bull shit. A year ago in never used to be this way. They push the girls to get private dances now which discourage the girls from having fun with you after you buy them a drink. HK is fun, but it's not as fun as it was a year ago. New management has increased cost and lowered the fun. Sucks. If you want cheap fun, Chicago is way better.

Damn HK was even more fun than this back then!? So sad I missed out on it. I was doing pretty well in their solo and loved gaming the girls.

As far as the border immigration. What else am I suppose to say to mexican immigration police when they only give me the options to pay or go back to the US?? It was around 9 or 10 pm at night. I knew it was a scam but I noticed the guy getting a little irritate by me trying to argue with it.

If I take the courtesy ride by myself, which I hardly do, I tip $5. If I’m riding with other guys I’ll give 2 or 3 bucks. I have seen several people not even tip anything though.

You would need to have a wristband with the assigned room written on it to use so I don't think someone would be able to hook you up. The only way to remove the wristband is to rip it off at which point they wouldn't accept.

The shuttle officially opens the office at the border at 2 pm You can walk in the office grab a water or use the bathroom. However if you are trying to get from the border to HK and it is before 2 pm You can hangout in the area where cars drop off people at the border and if you see one of the shuttles dropping people off you can catch a ride to HK. The shuttle runs 24 hrs a day.

With the skyrocketing population increase in Tijuana and sam diego just in last 5 years, the Limo has become very valuable. Because on Friday afternoons and evenings the 10 peso bus to revolution, that cam be a long line. Like 50 minutes wait. So what I do is walk right to the limo. No taxi or Uber for me. I beleive you can print limo coupon on internet too if you don't have vip card. Otherwise give him a tip as you get in to let him not care that you don't have vip card or the coupon. Going back to border from Revolucion used to be 2 dollars fifty cents on Uber. I typically tip a dollar. Then the price went up almost all the time to about 3. 50, or 4 dollars. So I really don't even take the Uber back to the border anymore. I will walk to the 10 peso bus or walk to Hong Kong shuttle and give the driver of the hk shuttle 3 dollars tip. Don't tip a dollar they will get upset one time they kinda banned me from using it because they called me the one dollar guy and would ignore me LOL.

The club scene is usually dead from like 8 am to 11 am, though they're still open.

No need to take the long way around. There's usually 1-2 guys hanging out in the old spot at the first left turn after you exit the immigration building. Even if there's no limo there just tell them you're going to HK, and they'll open the fence for you to make a shortcut through the parking lot.

When I frequented Sportsman's Lodge in San Jose, see. Are. I would often sit in one of the back areas to avoid the pushy chicas.

The irony is that I have seen people pay for one of those private boxes and the meseros still barge in about every 10-15 minutes to ask if they want more drinks. You can't win either way.

Just got a room at Cascadas for the night for a TLN if anyone else is around, I'll hang out in the club for a little while.

I tried to take the HK shuttle from the border to HK one time. I couldn't understand where the shuttle stops to pick up people. I saw the shuttle actually near the border, and I tried to follow it on foot. It was coming to a stop at some area by the border, and I was walking towards it. Then suddenly the shuttle started driving again without picking up anyone. Then the shuttle drove past me. I just stood there confused, on the side of the street. Unsure of what exactly is this mysterious HK shuttle and how to actually board it. That has been my experience with the HK shuttle.....

It doesn't matter where you sit. If you are going solo, then the pushy chicas will find you and ask for a dollar just because they shake their butt in your face. I politely decline and they go on their merry way. It must be hard times since it happens more than I can recall in past visits. Could the free money or low interest money be drying up? Wall St. Should be tracking expendable adult entertainment spending to see if we are heading into a recession hehe. It is crazy the chicas are asking $150, but it has been $80-$100 for the longest. They are going to price themselves out of the market.

Ill have to check out CR one day. Do they have adult entertainment with some tourist activities mixed in like boat tours, sightseeing, etc.? Recommendations?

There is lots of traditional sightseeing in CR but if want company would have to bring your own. I am not aware of any combo offers in that regard. Of course if $ is not an issue could charter your own boat for the day and pay chicas to accompany you. Or if get game with them maybe they come along for free if food and booze and other paying gringos onboard!

Only time I ever saw hk staff allowing people to chill and watch sports was the big soccer games 3 months ago at like 10 am. Mexixo was playing in the world cup. Othwrwise its definitely not like a usa sports bar where you can buy a drink and sit peacefuly. In fact mexixo doesn't seem to have alot sports bars where you can buy 3 drinks in 3 hours and watch the games in peace.

Wasn't too bad when I caught the chargers / jaguars game At adelitas a few weeks ago. Meseros left me alone for the most part.

Just when I was about to leave HK earlier I ran into one of my favorite girls I hadn't seen in about a month. Her phone was stolen so she had to get a new one with a different number.

Invited her for some fichas since she sips them slow with me and found a mesero who wasn't annoying and gave us our space and only dealt with him. All the other bastards had my anxiety up with their constant badgering.
