So yes you need green but when you leave the club to go up to Cascadas, you will have a nice pretty lady by your side. Keeping is classy is not a bad idea IMHO.

The dress code is color green (a lot of green dollars in the wallet) There is no dress code, in the summer I'm in short pants, aloha or no aloha shirt and sneakers. Baseball cap ok.

Was at HK last night. When I arrived around 10 pm there was an abundance of females. Way more than guys at the time. Even saw a few girls I hadn't seen in a while. I hear you on the dangers of Mexico. Danger is all over the world. I did not bring up the details but yea the recent report did include a direct encounter I had to navigate and a lesson about not driving in the hills between the beach and Tijuana. There are ways to minimize risk.

Honestly even the Tijuana beach looked pretty rough. The girl was loving it but it was probably the most rough looking beach I have spent the night in. With that said the people I did interact with were cool and friendly.

One strategy to reduce harassment from waiters is to find a seat at the bar (rather than a booth) and order drinks exclusively at the bar. Meseros generally won't bother you if you have a drink in hand and are ordering at the bar. Girls will come around, but probably not as much as if you're sitting at a booth. If you're sitting at a booth you're almost expected to be buying drinks and / or have a girl keeping you company, that's just the way it is.

You also had the option of HK car service but maybe you didn't see them out there, they could have been in between trips.

In HK, the 30 dollar room charge should include a drink for yourself and the girl at no extra charge. If you go to Adelitas or Chicago club, the price of the room is 20 with the drinks being optional, as they should be, but wouldn't be surprised if they also make it mandatory at some point.

If I ever want to just hang without being bothered too much I go to Adelitas and sit at the bar and nurse my drink for a while and watch the stage or girls walking around. Sometimes I don't mind the banter because you can end up in a sexually charged conversation where you can end up negotiating nice GFE sessions. I've had a lot of success at Adelitas with this method lately.
