HK is big for this "Give me change" and whoops. $1 missing in the "conversion" of $20 to Pesos at the wall posted rate.

LOL, sometimes they'll try to get you for more than just the conversion rate. Only had it happen once but at HK I once tried to use a 500 peso bill ($25) to pay for an 80 peso ($4) beer. The bartender gives me peso bills amounting to just a few bucks in change and walks off. After standing there confused for 10-15 seconds trying to process what happened I walked back to the bartender, who I'd noticed out of the corner of my eye was staring at me trying to see whether I was able to figure out he'd given me the wrong change. He tried to play dumb when I asked him about the change but he eventually gave me the correct amount. Will say that's the only time something like that has happened in all my years going down to Zona Norte (though I usually pay in dollars not pesos) but my advice would be to be careful using pesos though if you do use pesos, use the lowest denomination of bills you have, not the 500 peso bill I used.

That's the thing about me, I have a tough time approaching a girl sitting by herself looking bored. Always makes me think she doesn't want to be there and I don't know how to spark the conversation.

Would have to agree with the dejected looking girls. Have had the best times with these. What's hard for me is if the girl you want is with a couple other girl friends. How to talk to her a bit with out buying a beer but to see if there is any chemistry and not look like a fool. That I have not figured out yet. Maybe some of the bro's have some tips with this senario?

There are a few basic sentences you can say and while you don't need to have a full "conversation" you can learn enough to see how her personality is a bit. And that's really all you need.

Just learning how to say.

Where are you from.

What is your name.

How long in Tijuana etc.

The other thing you don't know. Is how much English she knows. I have been amazed as some girls who just from Youtube. American movies. Music. Their English is good enough to have an actual conversation.

She can help you learn a little Spanish if you learn to say. "What is the Spanish word for". And point to anything.

While it can be combersome. If your phone works. If you buy her a drink pull up google translate and type in a few basic questions one at a time to ask her. Most girls are good with it and when they communicate back you can repeat what they say to see if she thinks you say it ok.

I always joke with them and say something about you can be my Spanish teacher.

I probably only know 30 words of Spanish but it does go a long way.

Can I ask you another question? A girl I know at HK forwarded me the following explanation of what happened, words that came directly from someone who knew the girl that was killed:

"Mi novia fue asesinada alli el lunes por la noche. En la habitacion 404. No la revisaron durante 15 horas. Estuve alli con su madre durante 13 horas rogandoles que abrieran la puerta why se negaron. Fue drogada, robada why dada por muerta. La administracion no hizo nada. Nos dijeron que revisaron la habitacion why que no habia nadie. Ella estaba alli muriendo. ".

Were you the one who wrote this? I assumed that when the person who wrote this referred to your friend as "mi novia" that it was probably just a close girlfriend of hers. But maybe these are your words? Also, does her last name begin with "Chis" or "de Chis"? (That is what another girl from Adelitas is telling me.).

What I can tell you is that the picture of the girl from Facebook was included, via text message, in the same explanation I received (in Spanish above) about the killing. So that is a rumor that is being spread around widely that the girl from Facebook is the girl who passed in room 404. Given that, it might be worth clarifying the real identity of the girl in 404..

Can't report a person missing in Mexico for 72 hours. She tried.

Yes, I am the one who wrote this. It was copied and pasted from a message I sent to one of the girls on day 1. At that point they told us it was an OD, and my girlfriend had never tried a single drug in her life. She was terrified of drugs. So I assume she had been drugged. It wasn't till seven days later that officials told us how she died. It was violent and is being investigated as a homicide.

Near as I can tell, the Facebook link is another girl who died in Hong Kong last week. I don't have any first hand knowledge of it though.

It is certain that my girlfriend checked into 404, and that's where she was found dead. Her last name does not start with CHIS, or even see for that matter, but she will remain anonymous on this page beyond sharing her work names Caro and recently Regia. She is not the girl on the Facebook link. My messages have already been copied and pasted and used for gossip which made their way to her friends and family via a social media influencer page.

We are not certain it was murder, but it is certainly being investigated as a homicide.

We as customers definitely have some power here, in the form of the almighty dollar. I'm still too raw to formulate how we might advocate for these girls and their safety. For now, it's almost all I think about. Because I don't know how to build a time machine and save her.

I used to love Hong Kong, it is another dimension. Sadly for me it is now a haunted dimension.

I have lived nearly my whole life in Southern California.

I had a reasonably good success rate as a single in SoCal when asking girls if they wanted a drink.

Man my success rate shot up to practically 100% when I started asking zona chicas.

I am surprised I have not read any news from local press about this murder. They usually like to do detailed reports on putas, mongers, sex, drugs, money, murder ect. They sell papers.

Don't worry. HK / Cascada have a large security system with lots of people and equipment, lots of high-res cameras everywhere, plus intels from the meseros, chicas and workers. They have a lot more info about and know more about guys in their club than you think, more than enough to help lead the hapless policias to make quick arrest.

I spoke with a journalist in Tijuana today and none of this is on any radars yet. I aim to change that.

When I first started going to Tijuana in 2004, going rates for Adelitas bar girls compared to street girls was around 700 pesos to 200 pesos.

But for them to be comparable experiences, you had to be a reasonably skilled street girl negotiator.

Yet you still got only around half as much room time with street girls in SG hotels, compared to the bar girls.

I think that year the exchange rate hung close to 11:1.

This occupational hazard isn't exclusive to just HK and has been a part of the world oldest profession. Who truly knows what happened in the room and if it was intentional or an accident. HK is and has been the biggest draw in Tijuana so things sadly won't change. "Accidents" intentional or not happen all of the time in this hobby.

HK is supposed to have safety protocols in place. The organization and security failed on every level here.

In my 15 years visiting HK, I have not had one single good arriba with the girls who flirt / approach you. Conversely, some of the greatest, nastiest lays I've ever had (including civie one night stands in my personal life) have come from girls who were sitting by themselves at a table, looking dejected. The flirty girls are the ones who *need* to sell.

HK needs to stop this from happening again. They should make a copy of ID's for short time rooms. This guy should be on video, I hope it is being investigated. Makes me think twice about spending money there after reading all this. Its also scary to think that we are in the club brushing shoulders with stone cold killers.
