I was prepared with a dental invitation for the next day when I attempted to cross the border.

But with delta variant I might have made a mistake and should have paid $30 for FMM.

So advice. If you are going to use dental appointment. Make sure that it is for the same day as you are entering.

Hmm doesn't make any sense at all, so why not pay $10 more and get the 6 month FMM? You get to use Mexican national line. Works especially well on weekends as the foreigner line is always backed up. They just check date on FMM and wave you through. Maybe echo variant is around the corner?
