Posts: 532An HK chica told me a client of hers that has covid is in the club tonight. She asked him what the hell he was doing out since he just got it a couple days ago and he said he wasn't going to let covid ruin his new years SMH. Yall be careful out there and be weary of anyone sneezing or coughing around you. If I was down there I would kick his ass myself. Dude is going in and out of the club and back to his room at Rizo without a mask or anything. Fucking moron.

Posts: 532Alright guys I take back what I said about staying away from the zona until after new years. A coworker of mine asked me to go with him last night and there was a lot more girls working than in recent days. They even had the area behind club Miami open since there was so many people. I'm assuming tonight and tomorrow will be pretty much like any other Friday and Saturday as well. Sunday could be a toss up with it being New Years Eve and all. Lots of chicas will wanna stay home with their men and children or would rather be out partying with their civilian friends. I would try to get there as early as possible to lock in the best available options.
I ended up bumping into a couple girls I didn't think were in town and took both of them arriba.

Posts: 532Just spent the last two nights in the zona. Unless you have something locked in with a known provider, my advice would be to just stay home from now until after new years. Pickings are very slim. You could still find something as there are still several girls working but it's not how it usually is. I had something locked in for an all nighter on the 25th with my main girl and was with her best friend the following night for around 5 hours then took her home afterwards because she had to pick up her kid from the dads house. I wanted to see her before she heads back home for new years for a couple weeks. I went back to HK to see if I could lock in someone else for the rest of the night and things were so slow I just ended up coming back home.
Chicago was super bad Monday evening. I walked in and it was so empty I immediately walked out as I didn't want all the attention on me and from the options I quickly scanned, nothing seemed to be worth sticking around for anyway. Tuesday had improved a little bit but still nothing worth sticking around for. Ironically, Tropical was Tropical. Literally did not notice a difference from any other nights LOL. But any girl I would consider banging or drinking with were busy with clients.
Now, if you have absolutely nothing to do then yeah go ahead and head down there and see what you can find. But it would be way better if you can make plans with someone you already know ahead of time who happens to still be in town as the pickings are slim as previously mentioned. But I would say better to just stay home and maybe call up an old faithful here in the states or hit up a FS AMP instead. I would definitely stay away from the zona on new years unless you're going down with a group of buddies or something. If you can't find a girl at least you can have a good time drinking and bullshitting around with each other.
Funny story, I had knocked back a few and was feeling buzzed but felt ok to drive. On my way back to the border I unknowingly drove right into a check point. First thing the officer asks is how many drinks I had over the course of the evening. I told him none. He asked if I was sure and I said yes. He made me pull over to the side where he said they would conduct a breathalyzer test on me. To make it worse I had a little under $400 on me, I thought for sure I had just lost all of it trying to get out of this. They told me the legal limit was. 08 and anything above that they would take me to jail and impound my vehicle. I thought there was no way their little breathalyzer was legit and was rigged to fail. I blew into it and it came up. 07 the officer looked at me sort of surprised and handed my keys back and told me to get the hell out of there which I was happy to do and headed straight to the border.

Going back to the USA ON Christmas Day no line. CBP was so bored they wanted to look in my backpack, first time ever. And trolley cops were so bored they even checked to see if I paid the fare.

I'm thinking about doing away with the Pronto app and just getting a Pronto card (for $2) as I've found the app a real pain in the ass to get a scan accepted at the trolley stations, whereas I never had a problem with those old cards they used to have before Pronto. Sometimes I can't get the app to accept a scan before the trolley comes so I just hop on without scanning.

If you take the 992 bus downtown the initial fee is $2.50 BUT you get a FREE 2-hour transfer window to any trolley or bus. So as long as you transfer to the blue line trolley within 2 hours your trolley ride is free, making the total cost $2. 50 to the border. When I'm in downtown San Diego I often stop in one of the Gaslamp restaurants to get something to eat (dine-in not take out) and still have more than enough time to transfer for free since you get 2 hours.
But if you're paying using cash, the total cost is $5. 00 to the border if you take the 992 bus. $2. 50 for the bus and then you pay $2. 50 separately for the trolley since they don't allow free transfers with cash.
