Curious how others feel. Unless I am staying overnight I have generally tried to go back to the border before sundown from Zona Norte as it just seems more crazy shit happens later at night.

Do folks think it's a bit safer taking the HK shuttle to the border if available rather than a Taxi or Uber? (trying to avoid the police shakedown experience).

It's just crazy to walk up behind a girl who is standing next to the stairs at HK and "respectfully" put your hands on her hips and slowly move closer and grind a bit. With just a word like Hola. Or Que onda. This single approach in the USA would get you thrown out or in prison but at HK, they girl respond in just the way you would hope. Many times with a smile and many actually back up into you!!

I was in HK with 3 noobs Saturday night. They only wanted to hang out in HK, not other bars, cruising the club socializing with the girls and picked out their favorites. They each bagged 2 girls, enjoyed the company of wingmen, had good time. Would have been fun to meet up with guys from out of state.

Saturday night there were no tables on the main floor where the hottest girls and strippers circulate, but the new Hangar Annex and Chavelas had plenty of empty tables, just not many hot girls. A Mexican guy shared his table near the main stage with us, a real fun guy. He was buying fichas for hot Raquel all night, plied me a couple shots of HK's house Tequila in the tall green bottle, really good stuff.

The bros should announce their visits a week or so in advance, perhaps meet up, party, trade infos and have some fun with local bros. I made quite a few new friends in the club, drinking with them, kidding around, just having fun like silly boys hehe.

Well, consider this my one week warning. I'll be there Wed night (14th) and likely the next 2 or 3 nights.

Cap, you mentioned that tequila twice. Do you have a name? You said better than setenta? I'm interested. LOL I'm thinking about taking it slow one of those nights, getting a bottle and relaxing.

Shirley, you can't be serious. Are you telling us there is no amazing food in Tijuana, or that you know where it all is and nobody else does (or at least hasn't reported on it)?

Tijuana is a foodie paradise. There is something good for every budget, and the finer establishments do every bit as good as their California counterparts at a fraction of the price.

I don't post much on the food thread for a couple of reasons. The first is the "pearls before swine" thing. Too many guys here swoon over greasy, overpriced, street tacos outside of ho-houses, or think that Mr. Pampas is the best restaurant to ever grace the face of the earth.

The second is that it's waaaayyy too bit a PITA to re-size all of my food pix in order to post a decent TR.

Tijuana hands down has some of the best medudo joints. Menuderia Jalisco is great. Tacos and Menudo near Ticuan is the tits, and there are many more. Also, there isn't a week that passes where I didn't wish Maree and Villa Marina weren't closer to home in terms of great seafood that doesn't break the bank. I can get good seafood where I live, but it will come at nosebleed prices.

And I'm curious what is this "amazing food" in Tijuana that you mention? Tijuana actually does have some great food but I haven't yet seen anyone on this board have even a remote idea of where to find it. (And no I'm not talking about vegan food. I'm talking about regular non-vegan food.)

They just say that crap because they make a lot of money attracting insecure cowardly little rejects who want to latch on to the idea that the reason they can't get laid is "feminism" and not that the fact that they're just mediocre scrubs that hot chicks simply aren't attracted to.

There are no Bad Days at HK. You guys are so lucky, short drive and you are in Tijuana. (Amazing food, great weather, and beautiful girls_ Now that I am in San Antonio, my drive is much shorter to MTY, so good. In between MTY and San Antonio is Laredo. That is shit show and dangerous. You guys have it good. I am not sure I would trade MTY for Tijuana. The only reason is there are very few Sex Tourists. That is an issue in Tijuana, they are throwing around crazy cash. Keep up the great reports, so complain, but I like your reports. The hatters will always complain.

What is this "crazy cash" that gringos are throwing around in Tijuana? Are you comparing Tijuana clubs to Monterrey clubs? Please correct me if I'm wrong but the top clubs in Monterrey are actually just as expensive (or more expensive) than Tijuana clubs. Or are you comparing Tijuana escorts to Monterey escorts? Or are you comparing seeking arrangement chicks? I know you're not comparing street chicas because you said you don't do street chicks.

I am not sure I would trade MTY for Tijuana. The only reason is there are very few Sex Tourists. That is an issue in Tijuana, they are throwing around crazy cash.

Drama, my opinion is that it's a bit of a catch-22. Tijuana, and HK for that matter, is so good because of the selection. The girls will go where the money is. There are other economics at play as well. But safe to say Tijuana would not have such a great selection if that crazy cash wasn't flowing. But I agree with your general point; higher prices suck for locals and for fools that travel there every 2 weeks! LOL.
