    Fmm

Granted I'm only crossing one or two nights in a row once or twice a month, but last November I got sent to the back room. I have a valid passport with plenty of time left on it, so that wasn't it, I just figured it was my time and paid the $30. Small price to pay to walk swiftly through IMHO. As far as avoiding stamps, passport card is my friend. Pairs great with Sentri for the return trip.

Well, for me, the issue isn't a measly $30 but the possibility of the border officers escorting me back to the turnstyle after I've spent a shit-ton of cash coming to the other side of the country.

I crossed twice from San Ysidro to Tijuana on foot just last month with no issues. Don't think it was a matter of "luck" I think it's more likely they pull the $30 FMM thing only for certain situations (missing or expired passport, excuse for going to Mexico not believable or valid, person fits a certain profile where they think they'll be able to shake $30 out of them, etc.). Last year, I was forced to pay the $30 fee twice, but both times I was trying to cross with an expired passport.

Before I drove into Tijuana, I actually voluntarily paid the $30 so that I didn't have to waste time getting in line and filling out that stupid pass every time I cross and getting my passport pages filled with Tijuana stamps. Some of the Mexican officials can be real dickheads and ask nosy questions like why am I going to the HK club?

Do you think you got lucky or do you think the policy changed so that entry INTO Mexico is back to normal?

Anyone else walk across the border without paying since the clubs opened this week?

I use my passport card so no stamp, but he did ask me where I was going, coming back etc. , Told him the dentist for a crown tomorrow morning, he asked which one, and I said smiletijuana, I got my teeth whitened there last year.

To be honest, I think I did get lucky, I think he genuinely believed I was going to the dentist, but who knows maybe they were busy?

He did fill out the 7 day FMM for me though.

Went to HK's 7th floor Sunday night. Lots of ladies, surprisingly didn't recognize most of them. I really only remembered a couple but then again, I hadn't gone since last November. Word going around was that they were opening the club back up on Monday. I was going to go today to check it out but since it's raining I don't want to get caught in the rain. So I might go next week. I guess they're still asking for the 6 month passes at the border? If so might have to renew since mine is set to expire in a few days.

I'm hoping it is "normal." Although they were closing at midnight when I was there last, the meseros / security was also blocking off movement at different parts of the club itself. Sucked.

What are the hours at the newly reopened Hong Kong club?

Based on last two times the Zona opened I am thinking it will take a while for HK to get back to full speed. Do not get me wrong I had a great time they opened for a couple days in June.

I will be going down April 19 to scout for my boys. Will report back how it is going. Last Summer / Fall it was cool to see HK expand to the next door club. Hopefully they start packing the place with girls and shows soon!

Hong Kong as well as every other bar in Tijuana back in full effect. For a Monday crowds looked like a typical Thursday. Used my free beers coupon at HK, but, 45 minutes in the place not 1 girl said Hello. Ran over to tropical, the tropical speakeasy was wonder full 7 woman to each guy on Thursday. Now? Left in five minutes. Nothing doing. Gloria bar was ok, but, hate to say it, even Gloria bar speakeasy was better set up for sex offers. Good news is I only spent 45 tonight bought 1 girl 3 drinks so I can go out tomorrow again ha.
