The noobs are mostly very nice, fun kids. Having never been in the original HK before Covid shutdown, noobs were curious, wanted to know what was Hong Kong like on the main floor before being cramped into the 7th floor hallway with no place to sit, no air, bad music, no strippers, no entertainment, girls not so hot, but stuck up with high prices.

The bro wanted to check out Adelita so we went out the back door. A tall, good-looking HK girl with her pretty face, no tats, her name Claudine I think, was working in HK only last week, hanging around all night without clients, but this week she started working the alley right outside Cascada's back door. Went through the Hong Kong metal detector a few times this past weekend. Twice they let me hold my phone in my hand while I walked through. Of course the machine beeped, but they just waved me through. No pat down. I could have had anything on my person. Once they made me put my phone in a tray. I walked through and it beeped. You raise a good point, Captain. If you can't quickly and flawlessly convert dollars to pesos in your head while in whatever inebriated condition your brain may be in at the time, Don't pay in pesos. The US dollar is accepted nearly everywhere in Tijuana and the money you'll lose in trying to make conversions in your head will far exceed anything you may gain in the exchange rate. It's certainly not because they can't do currency conversions. Putas may be, in general, one of the stupidest life forms to ever inhabit the planet but their arithmetic skills rival any supercomputer.

Another common mistake that is lost in transmission is doce and dieciseis: they sound very similar the way most Mexicans pronounce 16 and especially in a noisy bar. You might think you negotiated 1200 pesos when she actually said 1600. Just stick with dollars unless you really know what you're doing.

You do have to declare purpose of your trip in one of the 12 approved categories for a license by State Dept and airlines can obtain that license and Cuba's visa for you with the ticket.

You are correct. Just pick "support for the Cuban people" when you buy your ticket and stay in an airbnb.

I am curious, Cuba immigration is known to stamp a separate piece of paper, not directly on your passport. How would State and HSI find out that you were in Cuba?

Did you have legal cover for Cuba's trips? I am curious to visit las Cubanas before Cuba becomes a spring break destination and overbuilt with timeshare condos.

I cross the border into Mexico about 100 times a year besides other countries. My Global Entry renewal was quick before CoVid. I received the new card within 2 weeks. Your delay may be caused by CoVid as I heard Federal workers only come in to work 1 day a week.

I flew from American Air via Miami Havana. This was in 2019. There are plenty of Mongering opportunities if you hang around the main Hotel Nacional there is a local that runs the classic car tours that offered to take me around several casas for working girls. Just one option I came across and you can also check out the local salsa club nearby (I forgot what it was called but its the main one near that hotel)

My renewal in October took two weeks.

Legal travel to Cuba used to be almost impossible for Americans so that's why Cuba wouldn't stamp US passports as a courtesy since they were travelling there illegally. Now I think it's easier to legally travel to Cuba so no need to not stamp passport. I got pulled aside for search and questioning at Houston international airport when customs saw Venezuela stamped in my passport. They held me up for over an hour crawling up my ass with a microscope (figuratively speaking).

So I have Sentri and 3 trips to Cuba and you got me curious so I checked and Cuba did stamp my passport 3 times but all on the same page and near the end of the passport when all other countries stamp it in the front. Not sure what's going on there. My Sentri expires in 2022 but I'm thinking its no problem. Travel to Cuba is legal and easy to do so I don't think they can hold that against you but maybe they look at you a little closer?

You are correct. Cuba immigration does not stamp a separate piece of paper, they stamp your passport towards the back pages with a reddish pink stamp. I have a few in my passport.
