I had couple of escort girls from Foxy's before this, that went without any issues. I was there for 3 nights, nothing else bad happened, and the staff was very courteous talking to me.

The gloom and doom reports from a poster about security risks in Tijuana are inaccurate and way too pessimistic.

I have been going to Tijuana almost every weekend for 18 years and have not been robbed, threatened or had anything stolen from me, ever. I used to park in the US and walked / cabbed over, but in the past few years driving over and back with SENTRI / GE has been far quicker and safer. I got stopped a few times by policias, but they could never steal anything from me. Just hold your wallet and all cash / valuables in your hands while they search and they could do nothing.

Remember due to their crime situations, Mexican policias operates under different rules than the US. They can stop people and cars for search if they have their probable causes. They stop a lot of California cars because Mexicans would drive with expired US registrations to avoid Mexico's taxes. I have seen them check registrations and quickly let cars go within 1 minutes without searches.

As long as you exercise caution like in any big cities in the US, don't get falling-down drunk on the streets and don't get cornered in dead-end alleys, rateros won't be able to rob you.

Girls in La Zona are mostly good and honest. Club girls' standard service include CBJ and sex in many positions. Only a few would do DFK, DATY or BBFS if they know the guys. With street girls you need to spell the deals out in details. If you leave out any services, they may be tempted to ask for more money in the room.

People outside of La Zona are mostly nice, warm, good, honest, helpful, dignified, more so than people in big US cities.

You will definitely notice this fact during your visits to Zona Norte.

That's just not close to true. They do not need to see a gringo twice to know what they are there for. And if you are there for the chicas they know you have money. There are plenty of "regular" visitors on this board that go there every weekend without anything significant occurring.

Actually San Ysidro is as close as it gets to the Mexican border.

Between San Diego and San Ysidro you have the municipalities of Imperial Beach, Chula Vista & National City. Chula Vista is the seventh largest city in Southern California.

He lived in a 2 bedroom apartment in Tijuana for about $300 per month and took the trolley every day to work at McDonalds. The rents in San Diego are about $1000 per month more than Tijuana. If you want a lifestyle of going to Tijuana, start learning Spanish and watching DVDs in Spanish. Recommend you start with Pimsleur Spanish CDS and Spanish flashcards. The more you are able to talk about movies and events to the chicas in Spanish, the better you will do with them. Remember, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. I. e. Dress and look like an upper class Mexican as much as possible in long sleeved shirt, pants, and boots. Look around Tijuana and copy the classy looking locals, without looking rich (no Rolexes and other mugger bait).

I see a few requests for some guidance in Tijuana. While I'm not as experienced as many on this board, I do feel like I can provide some guidance. And because of all the help this board has been to me, I almost feel obligated to do so.

I am not local. But if anyone is interested in heading down at the very end of September or very early October, PM me. (Yes, you'll have to pony up the site fee, but given the value of this board, it's money well spent.).

I think my first trip will be sometime around then but I will probably be going solo. I'd want to check it out on my own first to really maximize my experience, in the future though I don't mind group trips, sounds fun. In the future I would like to move to San Diego. I hate that fucking hotel! First off, if I want a short time room for an hour, they double the amount. In HK, it's 17 for 30 and 27 for an hour. In Leyya, it's 15 for 30 and 30 for an hour.

The problem is, I have a few favorites in CC, so I'm forced to use that hotel. Wednesday night, I wanted the room for and hour and I gave the bastard 40 US, and when I got my change, I received 6 bucks. I asked him WTF? He was charging me 4 bucks for lubricant. I asked him, "Did I ask you for fucking lubricant?" he returned my 4 bucks.

You should have gone into CC Monday night, I was there and they now have a good amount of women and some are great looking.

I wonder if you might be confusing Hotel Jalos with the Leyva Hotel.

The entrance to Hotel Jalos is a stairway up from Constitution's sidewalk just north of Chicago Club's entrance. The desk clerk to Hotel Jalos is on the second floor, where all their rooms are.

The ground level entrance and front desk to the Leyva is north of both the Chicago Club and Hotel Jalos.

First things first. A recent post about the new rooms at Villa de Leyva hotel, next door to CC, gave me some motivation for checking it out and spending a night if nothing more to reminisce about the years between 1999 and 2004 when this was my go to hotel. Well the new rooms are NOT open during Monday through Thursday, only on weekends, the old shit hole rooms for $34 was the only rooms available, the manager at the front desk is a COMPLETE ASS Hole prick. My last stay at this dump hole was about 5 years ago, NEVER AGAIN, they lost me as a customer forever. Fuck the attitude, fuck the mexican front desk manager, I bring little to no expectations but this shit hole is the worst.
