I seen a customer get scammed yesterday, and I won't hide the waiter's name. I think the customers were Mexicans, but they were quite white, but spoke perfect Spanish. The waiter walks in from behind and picks up the old beer and puts a new napkin under it. Then he had the balls to wait for his friend to give a tip. And he did. I think the girl figured this out, but she wasn't exactly cool with it. She wrapped the beer bottle with 3 napkins. I couldn't figure out why she did this, until just now I figure she did this to mark the bottle. A new bottle of beer won't come with a bunch of napkins wrapped around it.

To make it worse a different waiter comes in 1 minute later and tells them to buy a new drink. Now, even the drunk guy paid attention to this and got pissed off. And his friend and the girl were arguing with the second waiter. He eventually left.

So, no matter how slowly your girl drinks, someone will eventually push you to buy another drink. If she didn't drink much, they might try to scam you and not bring a new drink. The waiters name is Roberto. No telling how many Robertos there are there.

I was actually quite unhappy about this, but they were on the other side of the stage, and not likely any business of this gringo.

You didn't get a glance of Roberto's number? Did he at least bring change for the $20? You don't ever have to buy a chica a ficha unless a manager gets involved. Contrary to what many believe the meseros have absolutely no authority over the chicas. And if the chica already has a drink I don't know how any mesero can demand you purchase another but it doesn't surprise me either.

HK may be packed on weekends, but most guys are just look loose. Most, like 90%, are not even tipping strippers, much less buying other more expensive offers in the bar.

Probably only about 10% would tip strippers, 5% would buy a ficha, and may be 1 to 2 % would take a girl arriba.

In my estimate, about 80% of the girls are just hanging out all night, not getting any tips, not selling any fichas or arribas. I knew many girls who could not break even in HK after paying for the double room in Cascada. The supply seem to be a lot higher than the demand. Presently prices are left to the chicas to negotiate. But perhaps HK management has better business sense than the chicas, and can suggest to them to better price and market themselves. About 3 years ago I was able to find many chicas who would do 500 pesos or $40. Now I can't even get one to go at 1000 pesos. They all want $80 or 1300 pesos firm. A lot of guys can find equally attractive, young and sexy street girls for 200- 300 pesos, some are even better in bed then HK's rubber dolls. They also have competition from freelancers posting in CL and BP, who take away a big chunk of their local monger market.

If HK and Cascada adjust their prices down, and likewise convince chicas to go lower, or be more flexible, with their prices, perhaps revenue and profit would both increase for them.

If more girls get some revenues regularly, they are more likely to stay and more new girls may pack in, offering more choices and better price points for the bros.

Perhaps HK should raise it's cover charges to keep cheap guys out, and split some of that income with the girls or clients with some innovative incentive schemes.

Bidding and Raffling are always fun and exciting. Perhaps HK should try bidding off sessions with putas, raffling off a few free drinks, free pussies, fichas, lap dances ect. To keep things exciting. May be some sort of frequent flyer accounts where guys can log what they spend in the club and get some freebies.

I've been hearing for years that a common weekly wage there runs from about $80 to $120 per week (not $25). But even at that higher wage level, prostitution is much more lucrative.

Yes, prostitution is more lucrative for many pretty girls. But lower pay would make it less desirable and some would leave HK for other bars or leave Tijuana or leave the business all together. That alone will drive the price up for the remaining pretty girls at HK.

Most of my USA based mongering is with variations of Asian massage places. I can say conclusively that expensive places tend to have prettier and younger girls than the cheaper places. The same concept will hold for HK and zona Norte in general.

I don't see the girls stopping this line of work either because the minimum wage is $4.25 per day and this is the common wage paid to the overwhelming majority of Mexicans. Even the $50 for 30 minutes is probably not unreasonable because it is more than 10 times the Mexican 8 hour shift.

I can handle that. $100 for an hour of memorable experience.

Why not get a HK VIP card that extends a 30 minute S / T rental into 45 minutes?

Or for $36 more (Than $20) you can just rent a Cascades room for a weekend night using your VIP card.

I agree its no fun to pay US prices in Tijuana. They can see suckers from a mile away again the damage is done they know you get a little happy and you open your wallet. I can blow $350 dollars in a fucking afternoon trying to beat the clock watchers. Everyone there have just one goal in mind and that is getting as much is possible from your sorry ass. Sometimes I worry I cannot have enough money to pay for the parking in my way back, that's why I always leave a $20 in the car. I can't believe my wallet is empty after bringing almost $400 WTF!

I've been to Nogales 100's of times never were there ugly women in the bars and never was 120 $ discussed. Actually most women there are quite attractive.

You are right on that no other zonas Rojas in Mexico come anywhere close to the large numbers of young chicas with breath-taking beauty working in Tijuana. A monger friend in Tucson would drive down to Nogales and got very offended by old ugly bar hos wanting $120 for ST. He has been flying his own plane from Tucson to Brown Field in La Mesa, San Diego and hang out in Tijuana bars. He does not speak Spanish, but was able to book weekend dates, Friday noon to Sunday noon, with a few HK chicas for $200, one being a former school teacher near Monterrey. He was living in hogs heaven every weekend he was here.

There are so many young, sexy, good-looking spinners every night in HK that I cannot remember all their names. A few got indignant that I forgot. If you see any chicas you like you should buy her a ficha drink, try sweet talking to her, kissing, feeling out her boobs, abs and her crotch for quality, and to test her responses to your touch. If she's warm and happy then she will likely give you a passionate, mind-blowing session in bed. If she's cold, distant or trying to avoid your touch, she won't be good with you in bed.

I don't think anyone in this forum is from La jolla Shores or from Beverly Hills. I do believe The HK girls should drop the prices to same prices as AB. There are ways around management admissions to poor pricing such as having a "special one time only April Promotion providing $3 off on all fichas," then rince and repeat the following months. "$9 chica drinks are now only $6!" can be widely promoted.

The three key factors of whether I visit HK are the 1. Arriba pricing 2. Fricha pricing and waiter service, and 3. Girl quality.

Arriba: $80 for 30 minutes is too much. I walk away just out of principle. 1000 pesos is my absolute limit.

Frichas: $10 ($1 tip) is even more outrageous particularly when one has to deal with an asshole waiter and his fucking games and constant interruptions. Shaking her drink before its empty encourages me to get a new waiter, not order more drinks. Gets my defense up very quickly.

Girl quality: I can't complain. Variety is about the only thing I'd change. I keep seeing the same girls over and over in the same bikini. They should promote more theme days such as "Cowboy Monday" where girls all dress in Daisy Shorts, or "Revolution Tuesday" where the girls dress up in sexy traditional outfits. "Sophisticated Wednesday" where the girls dress up in cocktail dresses. " Change up the themes every day.

My own drinks: $5 for a water bottle that I could get from the XOXO store for 50 cents? That's reasonable since I am paying to see the girls. Frankly, $5 is a reasonable rate for many things in HK. Anytime something approaches $10, I feel like a sucker accepting it similarly to paying $80 for arriba.

Considering the competition, the following should gain advantage over the competition, improve clients' satisfaction, improve overall business and profit for the bar and chicas:

Beers to cost $3, ficha $5 with unlimited access minimum 20 minutes.

Coupon 2 free beers with lap-dance appetizer good any day of the week for VIP.

A standard arriba rate of $50 or 1,000 pesos. $150 or 2500 pesos for all night, with voluntary propinas for good performance.

Cascada's ST room $10 or 160 pesos for 30 minutes.

Cascada rooms 80% discount for VIP card holders any night of the week.

VIP card $30 or 500 pesos, good for 6 months.

Just a few ideas from the Big 5 business consultant. Any suggestions for HK's management please add here.

First of all Golden Palace is not providing HK any "stiff competition."

If you knew anything about business you'd know that permanent price reductions are the equivalent of management admitting they made a mistake. And their egos will prevent that from happening. They're not going to lower prices across the board. The damage has been done. You just have to basically wait for inflation to correct the mistake of raising prices in the first place. Lowering beer prices won't help that much. If mongers wanted cheap beer they would buy it at Costco and drink it at home. The only thing that might help is lowering ficha prices. $9 fichas are definitely not at equilibrium. I believe they could maximize profit at around $6. HK management doesn't have to worry about altering its price structure on weekends as it has no problem filling the seats. The problem is Mon / Tues and perhaps slightly Sun / Weds. They have to increase the only thing that gets mongers to come in the first place-putas. If they upped the ficha payout on Mon / Tues from $34 to perhaps $50 or even $60mx that would entice more chicas to work thus increasing the number of mongers thus increasing revenue and profits.

This Saturday I bought a VIP card for 800 p. Got good value. Got 20% off Sat & Sun and 80% of Monday room rate at Cascadas, and 3 beers (1 per day), got a lap dance for $11 (1/2 price) plus I tipped her $5. LD not worth it, picked out a girl, taken to a booth, can touch anywhere but she didn't take her bottom off, mesero tapped the glass at the 7 min mark. When I got out, I saw a guy sitting by the stage with a girl for 25 min, getting a lap dance and only cost him a ficha drink. During the whip cream show on stage you could touch her pussy for $1 or the boobs for another $1. Tried using HK web site coupon for free lap dance and for appetizer. But those are for non VIP patrons.
