If nothing goes horribly wrong my fligh should arrive on the 13th in Bogota. Have not booked anything form there, but 2 weeks to spend. Still debating about Cartagena or Barranquilla.

My Spirit flight to Medellin was a surprise. The flight was only 40% full in which I was expecting 70%. An even mixture of single or couple men, women, and families. Then the lines going through Immigration. 90% were foreigners and not Colombians. I expected the exact opposite.

Hi there, how are things there with pico y cedula? I am thinking about coming on Sunday until new year but not sure yet due to the peak and ID restrictions? Can you go to bars, restaurants, and Santa Fe mall?

Mall is open. They didn't check at the entrance, or at Starbucks, but going into individual stores. They didn't really check when I went to Carulla either. Restaurants and bars are open but supposed to shut at midnight, only got here right before Christmas so not sure if they're sticking to it. Everything supposed to be shut on nye and nyd again.

Got here just in time for pico y cedulla, Christmas and nye lockdowns. What timing. If anyone's out on even days or around in January shoot me a pm. Planning on waiting out covid here and not being stuck in the US.
