I'm arriving in Medellin on August 28 leaving September 1. I'd love to meet any other travelers. I'll be at a hotel in Parque Lleras. This is going to be my first time in Medellin but I've been to Colombia 4 different times before.

Bunda and Con, Ill be also there from Aug. 25th till Sept. 2nd, on Tuesday I'm planning to go to the Ghost BC concert at the royal center, metal music, if you are into that genre.

http://medellinliving.com/ is a good resource for what's happening around Medellin (festivals, concerts, special events). I like to hear live music so I always click on the Calendar to see if there are any concerts whenever I'm in Medellin.

Another good resource on what's happening around Medellin is http://www.jackmag.com.co/.

If you like more mellow music, I highly recommend attending a performance by Marta Gomez. She's now based in the USA, but she frequently performs throughout Colombia (check her calendar).
