I'll be in MDE for a week plus from Aug. 12th. Third time there and I'll be staying at the Casa Blanca 2. It'll be good to see Greg, et. Al., but I'm always interested in meeting other ISGer's. It's been like 4 years since I was last there so I know I'll be "rusty" on the scene, venues, etc. Anyway, anybody who might be there at this time and want to get together for a beer, BS, or whatever give me a PM back and we can chat. BTW, I do speak some Spanish and I'm a veteran traveler.

I have sent some PM's to 3 or 4 members (my thanks to Vic, especially, for his great advice), but I have been advised to put a posting on this thread.

I will start my trip in MDE, and at some point in time would like to venture out into the beautiful countryside. And possibly visit Bogota.

Will anyone be in MDE or BOG during those dates. Hola Mundo has already indicated that he likes fishing-for fish, I presume.

I would like to make this 17-day trip the best vacation I have ever had. I recently told my wife of 18 years to "get the hell out of the house". After I discovered that she was having an affair with a young latino "boy" who is 21 years younger than her. Ouch! (She, BTW, is Japanese. And 20 years younger than me.)

Okay, you've heard my "sob story. " Now, I need to start a new chapter in my life. Any help, or suggestions, would be appreciated.

I'm not a huge Bogota fan but with the cheapest round trip to there from here and a cute student fresh from Barranquilla waiting for me, away from her family and lonely, that is my start and end point for the 2 weeks.

Cartagena (first time ever) July 29 - Aug 2

Medellin (third visit, staying at CasaBlanca 1) Aug 3 - 6 (and maybe 7th)

Return to Bogota and US Aug 9

I could not stand it any longer. I tried to wait. I really did, but the lack of fine women in New Jersy has driven me to pull the trigger on another trip.

July 11th to July 31st. I will be staying at My Place or if Frank doesn't have any room then I'll stay at a nearby hotel in Mayorista.
