Copa web site has a deal where you can stay over in Panama for a while before going on to the next destination.

Prices are slightly higher.

I stayed over 3 nights in Airbnb condo in the old town mid Dec 2021. No tests was required.

My itinerary as follows.

18th Toronto-Bogota via Salvador.

19th Bogota to Cartagena for over night stay at Hampton in Hilton.

20th Cartagena to Medellin for 5 nights at Fourpoint by Sheraton in Poblado.

25th Medellin to Bogota for overnight stay but not booked the hotel yet. Either Tequendama Suites or our regular Hilton or Marriott near airport.

26th back to Toronto from Bogota.

Would love to meet fellow mongers if the time lines fit for any.

So far planned to take sunset boat tour in CTG, visit Gutapo in MDE and Monseratte church in BOG.

I will fly with Copa with a stop in Panama the change aircraft to fly to Medellin.

Do I need an Antigen test.

Does Panama require a test to in transit.

I know Colombia does not need a test.

If any Canadians flew this please let me know..

One of my friend went few weeks back via the same route but no need to take any test as long as you are not going out of the airport and just transit.

We are coming from Toronto this 18th via Salvador and no requirement to take any tests either as per Avianca agent.

Any one confirm this as I don't wanted to any last minute surprises as I am already upset as our initial direct flight from Toronto to Bogota is cancelled and rerouted via SAL and reaching midnight and the first connecting domestic flight is 6 am.

Will be in staying in a hotel close to Parque Lleras March 8-16.4th trip to meddy. I love the casas and going to el centro during the day. Maybe doing some other cool shit. Not into drinking or drugs and not flashy. I keep a low profile and can speak a little Spanish. No, not in transit. When I flew it a month ago on Copa. Non-Canadian.
