I am looking to go to Medellin in May but will be alone and never been, looking for a vet to show me ropes.

This will be my first time in Colombia. I will be 2 days en Bogota, 2 days in Cartagena, and 4 days in Medellin.

Frequent traveler but never in Bogota before. Visited Cartagena last year. Have experience throughout Europe and Southeast Asia, but minimal Spanish and minimal time in South America. Mainly interested in safe mongering. No dark alleys or mugging or spiked drinks for me. Love to hear some live music, eat and drink like a Colombian, and find some gorgeous Colombian women. I am not sure what hotel to book yet, but flights and vacay time will beat 24 to 29th. Will anyone be around Poblado area let me know. Unless there is a better place to stay.

Frequent traveler to Medellin over the past 6-7'years and know the lay of the land. I will be staying around Poblado and open to mostly Cassa and club action as well as dinner / beers. Late 30's and speak conversational Spanish.
