I was going to say the same. But sometimes the moderators only want chat about travel announcements. I was just in Barranquilla for 5 nights and it is very boring. It is not a bad place, and there are places to have sex with girls, but it is a very boring place. If you look on TripAdvisor for what there is to do there, there is almost nothing listed. If you are a first timer to Colombia, I think Medellin should always on the must do list. And be careful where you stay in Bogota. Look in the Bogota thread to see about where you should stay in Bogota.

I booked a hotel near the 4 points Sheraton, in Barranquilla, I will now try to cancel and go to Medellin after Bogata. I am hoping the fee to cancel is not too great.

You're better off in Cartagena or Medellin than Barranquilla.

This is my first time to Colombia so it is a combination trip to monger and travel the country. If anyone has advice or wants to meet for coffee to exchange ideas that would be great.

Looking at staying in the Estadio area, do not want to be in the touristy area, have traveled in Central America many times.

I'll be in Cali 24 June for about 5 days. It depends on how I like the place. I've been there before, but I brought a Paisa with me that time. So I didn't enjoy the sport. I'll be staying first at the Plaza Las Americas to see if it is a place I want to stay for more than 2 nights. If anyone is in town looking to hang out in bars at night, or roam the streets during the day let me know. After Cali I think I'll go to Bogota for about 5 days.

I'm headed to MDE Tuesday June 27 - July 1. I usually hang out with my girlfriend while I'm there, but this trip is straight sport fucking. Casas during the day and el centro strip clubs by night. Maybe go to el Mayorista and Grill San Diego. Haven't been to those spots in a while. I'm not even going to let my GF's know I'm there in MDE. LOL. Just trying to increase my network of Pro's, Semi-pros, and GF. On my last visit I met a 18 yrs old sweetie through one of my prepagos friends I don't fuck anymore. I let her know I'm coming and she always has a PYT wiating for me. I do give her a few pesos as a finders fee. This 18 yrs old is a real sweet heart and a fire cracker in bed!
