Been to Rio, Buenos Aires, Medellin, CR, DR, Thailand etc. But never to Cuba.

If someone could answer a few questions, we'd appreciate the help.

1. Do we need to book a hotel or place to stay in advance? Or we could just walk into a couple of places and rent?

2. What area of Holguin should we stay in? Especially for our hobby.

3. Our flight lands at 9 PM. It will probably be 10 PM by the time we get out of the airport. Is it too late to find a place to stay?

4. How much taxi should cost from airport to hotel?

5. Place and time to change currency that night or next morning is Sunday?

Lastly, if anybody wants to get together to hang out and share drinks and chicas, please PM me.

U can change money at the airport. For all your other questions I suggest you read the various posts about Cuba in general and Holguin in particular. Makes no sense in repeating what has already been written many times before.

Landing in havana jan 27, then a few days in Santa Clara then one last night in Santiago Feb 7-8. Already set up a very very nice chica that attends UCI for the 27th. Anyone in town with me?

I didn't know Sunwing booked 7 week packages. Details please, I might join you.

Sunwing doesn't of course. I just book the cheapest flight I can get, and overstay the return. Then book a flight in Cuba to comeback. This is what I normally do.

Westjet was too expensive for one-way.
