I am going to be in Santo Domingo and Sosua June 21 to 26. It is my first time in the Dominican Republic. I am going to spend my first and last day in the capital and the weekend in Sosua which somebody told me is walking distance from Santo Domingo so I am going to walk from Santo Domingo to Sosua. So if you want to join the first Keystone is on me!

I will be in the DR from July 16 to 24 and will have a car. The thought is to try FOD for the first time on the 16th and 17th and then go to BB's from the 18th to the 24th. If anyone is arriving on the 16th around 2:15pm and needs a ride to FOD or BB's from POP let me know. The same holds true on the 24th from BB's to POP around1:00pm as my flight leaves at 3:35pm.

I am planning to make my first trip to DR. I need some information. Where to go, where to stay and what the rates are there? I read alot of stuff about Sosua. Is that the place to go? Also like to know safety issues and bars to check out.

This will be my 3rd time in the DR. I have been to Santo Domingo and Sosua my first two times.

This time I am only going straight to Sosua and staying at the New Garden. I don't speak much Spanish, but in Sosua.

It's not really needed, even though it helps with the chicas who don't speak any Spanish.

I think I'd be brave enough this time to rent a car with someone and take a road trip to some not too far away cities.
