Just got back from Canada, Work Trip. I will be on the continental AM flight to SDQ in first class, anyone else on that flight. I'll be the guy wrecked out of his mind from a 7 hour plus flight yesterday and no sleep, no shower, no shave.

4 more hours and I will be in EWR airport, Santo Domingo verte pronto.

Heading for Sosua Oct 18-21 then BB's Oct 22-24. Planning to do some scuba-diving in Sosua Bay, then decompress at Barba Negra's.

Arrrrgggh, BB's will only have the Penthouse for Oct 22-24. Has anyone stayed up there; are there any issues?

Hi Westy. I shared the penthouse suite with a friend on 2 of my 3 trips. Split the cost with a friend comes out to $69.00 a night each. The PH has 2 separate BR's and 1 1/2 baths. Its on the 3rd floor and requires some climbing of stairs but it won't kill you. The PH has a partial, limited view of the ocean from the balcony out front, the only room that has a view. A large enough living room and small bar serves as the common living area. No kitchenette setup. A small fridge serves as the minibar but each room has its own too. Prices for drinks in the fridge exactly the same as the bar downstairs, pay that bill when you checkout. Each bedroom has the standard offerings and you won't be in your buddy's way while banging. Only drawback is that the hot water in the large shower seems a bit tricky and slow to get to temp. Some of the chicas know how to get it working though. Enjoy!

I don't fly spirit but I signed up on their web page. They are having sales in Sept for $29 + taxes for flights to SDQ leaving from FLL. 220 Round trip. I might have to take them up on one of their specials soon.
